This restaurant is in back corner of strip mall. Really hard to see from griffin. It has visible sign from within strip mall. Place is a 30 seat location but a couple big tables. Sat down and everything is clean and nice. Green chairs are uncomfortable but there are other chairs that are better. I ordered chicken tinga bowl and horchata. Bowl is really good and came with a good amount of guacamole I tried three salsas. The salsa verde I liked best. And i can tell you the crudo salsa not even hot so if you want a medium salsa get Serrano and it is a yellow color. Well I think this place is worth a try if you are close just avoid green chairs

The best taco spot in Weston! Great service and lots to try on the menu from burritos, tacos, quesadillas, and so much more. I order from here weekly!

Very small portions, especially for the price, but decent food and great drinks! For happy hour, the cocktails are $10 and beer is $5. The Paloma and mango margarita were delicious! I also really enjoyed the chicken Al pastor taco. Others had the steak burrito bowls, but it was quite expensive to add extra meat, and not a ton came with it. The place is also quite small, but the decor is stunning! It is conveniently located in a large plaza with lots of parking and shops near by. Please note that they do not accept cash!

This hidden gem didn't disappoint. We were craving authentic Mexican food, specifically tacos. We felt like we were in a high end restaurant on South Beach with the Latin music played at a comfortable level and the modern Art Deco decor. The food was delicious, especially the spicy salsa on the tacos. The waitress was very polite and friendly. We look forward to trying some of the other specialty tacos on the menu on our next visit.

Oh my gosh, I just have to share this adorable little restaurant I found in Weston! It's this cozy spot that feels just like home, and let me tell you, they whip up the most incredible homemade-style tacos I've ever had. It's a tiny place, fitting only about 30 folks, but the flavors? You'd swear you were dining at a fancy five-star restaurant, with a mix of tastes that could only come from Mexico itself. And the service? Wow! Daniella took care of us, and she was just lovely. We heard she's pretty new at this, but you'd never know it! She served us with so much warmth and care, like we were part of her own family. It was such a nice touch! You absolutely have to try the steak and chicken Tinga tacos--oh my goodness, every bite is a burst of flavor! I can't recommend this place enough. Seriously, go give it a shot and make sure to ask for Daniella. You won't regret it! P.S Tuesday is $ 3 tacos.

Went for lunch and this is a very intimate, lovely restaurant with an open kitchen. As "gringos", we got help with the menu from our waiter Leo. He helped us through the process and made sure that we were taken care of. We started with chips and guacamole. Chips were crunchy and homemade, guacamole was fresh with just a hint of heat. Our carnitas tacos with salsa verde were delivered quickly and disappeared almost as fast. They were delicious and we'll be back to try more of the menu.

We don't have many spots in the area that we tend to frequent because I feel we tend to be oversaturated with lots of food chains and casual eateries so finding El Gallo was such a pleasant surprise. Decor is cute, service is friendly, food is good and the music Playlist is always on point with some old school classic spanish jams that will have you singing from your seat.

The event was almost done and I decided to just get a refund cause my kids were hungry from being under the sun. I didn't even get a soda, which is right there my dad has the receipt and he goes to the front to the cashier and do the refund is what I thought. He gives the receipt back and my only mistake was not taking a photo of the receipt me going home, thinking nothing of it threw away the receipt after waiting weeks and don't see a refund or anything being returned I was confused it was $66 so yes I will get frustrated because if I at least taste at the food, it will be a different story but I didn't even get the soda. They were all confused who got an order who didn't they weren't organized it was a man and a woman working and they had to call the owner. He even told a few people that he plan on closing because of all the confusion I called the owner. Let him know the situation all he did was get upset talk over me and told me to call the bank. They will deal with it, but the bank wants a receipt so I just feel bamboozled and you're going to a church and stealing from the people is diabolical and the message you sent me is nasty.

For dessert was a traditional Mexican candy called Tarugo or Cimoy Tajin. This eatery has been here for eight years and I cant believe its my first visit. It was perfect and they were willing to do whatever needed to be done to keep the us happy. The birria was incredible I just got Chicharron my brain is still processing how good it was. Maybe a little salty, but even though they were super yummy sauces on the table I didn't need to use any of them but I got sidetracked by her need for a key. The ambience was comfortable, casual, well lit and simple. Camilo took great care of us and answered all of our questions. We left completely stuffed and very happy. If I had to Nick pick, I would say that the lack of liquor license deter us from drinking like we wanted to and I wish I didn't have to ask if the margarita was wine based because we almost ordered it and I'm glad we didn't now that I know. Otherwise, we were extremely happy and I will be back often

First I will start with the aguas frescas. I ordered an horchata. It was $4.99 and was served in a tiny child size cup. When I tasted it, I noticed it wasn't even homemade. We then noticed they used KLASS powder mix to make their "aguas frescas" so completely overpriced and not even homemade. Second I will touch on the tacos. We ordered birria tacos. They asked if I wanted corn or flour tortillas. This is when I knew I was doomed for bad tacos because tacos are NOT made with flour tortillas. ‍ once we got our tacos they were 3 very small tacos and they were not served with cilantro or onion. Overall. I was disappointed and would not return here. Very overpriced for mediocre and low quality "Mexican" food.

Chilangos Mexican Grill definitely needs to be added to the list of phenomenal hole-in-the-wall…read morerestaurants!!! Even if you know the address, you may drive right past it. The restaurant is buried in a line of other businesses door-to-door from each other, and hidden behind shrubbery. Once you find it, you will know it. There are husband and bride skeletons on the floor in the window by the door. Once inside, we were greeted, and asked if our order was pickup. It was to go. The wonderful and very busy woman at the counter, offered the menu, but we already had one. She was busy not just taking orders, taking payments, and getting deliveries out the door, but mixing drinks, and taking care of tables! She was a one woman army! Outside looks small, and so does the inside. But the layout is done in such an effective way that it there is counter seating, and more than enough tables to host a small event. It is like a small living room that is still large enough to throw a decent party! The décor is authentically Mexican with Mexican pottery, glassware, imagery, decorations, etc. Regarding the food, it is as authentic as the décor. Chilangos Mexican Grill is not Taco Bell or Pollo Tropical! The food is made from the heart and soul not from a corporate cookbook. So if you are a fan of Mexican food, or want to try it, visit Chilangos Mexican Grill. You may have trouble finding it, but once you do, the trouble will be MORE THAN worth it!!!
