When I bought my vehicle I upgraded the alarm system, problem was the horn didn't go off with the siren, which made for some weak sauce sound. So I asked the dealer to connect the horn too. He did, but since that time the horn has been shorting out and burning out fuses ever since. So it works for a week or so until pop, it just stops working. I've taken it to several places to no avail. Well this guy said "the horn is negative and the siren is positive, so there's your short. That without even looking at it. he knows his stuff. Also, the door lock needed a new motor. He replaced that (had the part on hand so I didn't have to wait for it to get ordered BONUS!) too. He has stereos, car alarms, cameras for your car, everything. So for my b-day I'm getting a dash cam installed. Always wanted one. Only took him an hour and a half. Sweet! So glad I found this shop! I was having problems with my van stereo. It was affecting my van gauges. Previous installation wasn't done properly. Gaspar said he needed to install a new harness. I didn't think this was a complicated job. Remove stereo from dash and replace harness. Reinstall stereo. I should have asked for an estimate before he started. That's on me. $518 for a harness and installation. I asked him how much the harness cost. I think he said around $260. The most expensive one I see on line is $70. I asked him how much he charges per hour. He said he doesn't charge by the hour. Just by the job. He had the van for less than 3 hours. Make sure you do your due diligence before you have Gaspar work on your stereo. I wish I would have just gone to Car Toys. read more

I came here after reading the Yelp reviews and saw how much better the pricing and service is here compared to Car Toys. I came in and was helped immediately. He showed me the speakers I needed for my car and quoted me $140 for the installation of 4 speakers (far better than Car Toys). He finished in an hour and the speakers sounded great. I drove away, but started to notice a peculiar buzzing and rattling from one of the door speakers, and I brought it back to him. He listened and heard it too, and he immediately took the car back and fixed the buzzing and rattling in under 30 minutes. I was extremely satisfied with how professional and prompt his service was. I came to El Garage and Gasper got me in the same day with a relatively similar price point for the install ($189 vs. BestBuy's $119). Install was done very professionally (clean wire cuts, nothing showing) and in about an hour (BestBuy said it'd take 2). If I could give 6 stars I would. I went in based on reviews, met Gaspar and told him to install an amp and subs that I brought in. He gave me a quote and I also asked for mids and tweets up front which he recommended and I went with it. After installation the next day I drove off and blew my subs(my fault) not even 10 minutes later. Came back in the next day he immediately recommended subs based on how I like to listen to my music(loud and clear, deep bass with crispy mids and tweets). Whatever he did after he replaced the subs he tuned everything to my liking and I am in love with my sound system. It's everything I always wanted and Gaspar hit it spot on. Stopped here to have new power ran and an additional amp installed. They quoted me a price higher than I wanted to pay so the owner or person working basically told me to do it myself and sold me the parts. Lucky for me I know how to install car audio. While I was there I was checking out prices and whatnot and they were fair. The customer service is great, too bad I am too cheap to have it professionally installed.
