I've been coming to this place for years and it never disappoints!! okay maybe only once a couple years ago when they closed 40 minutes earlier than closing hours.. but the food always satisfies my cravings! The first thing i've ever tried from here was a sandia loca trole and it still holds a special place in my heart. the perfect amount of sweetness with a hint of spicyness and refreshing. My other go-to trole now is half lime and half coconut, now THATS refreshing! The elote blanco from here, delicious as well. The torta de tinga, heaven. Everything about the torta de tinga is perfect. I could eat it every day for the rest of my life, happily. Anyways, love this place. PS, the hot cheetos and cheese is not worth the price imo because they just use the 5 little cheetos that come in the baggie (some places add more than what the little baggie has because, I mean, it isn't enough..cough cough) :)) read more

First I ordered over the phone a green juice and they didn't say bye but just hung up. I called back to make sure they got my order. When I called back they said they had my order and how long would it take to get here; told them 10mins. I get to the store 40 mins before close, the lobby was already put away to dine in, the store is extremely cold. They were busy cleaning and after 8 mins they come to ask me if I was uber. I told them I had already called to order. They started taking my order and hadn't made it yet. I told them I already ordered over the phone they could have told me that I had to be there to order. They said we don't remake orders, you could order online. Again they didn't tell me that over the phone plus they had me waiting. With 3 people on the floor. What I got: large nachos with jalapeños on the side, medium corn in the cup, and a medium trollis (cantaloupe and tamarindo) total was $19 and change. Corn in a cup was A+, trollis was good the cantaloupe tasted a lil weird but the tamarindo was perfect! Now the nachos was what disappointed me. The chips were stale and they were stingy with the cheese! Stale chips is what did it for me, c'mon guys you need to do better read more

This location always manages to get my simple drink WRONG! They always add too much of something causing it to either be unenjoyable or inedible. If it was cheap I wouldn't mind but $10 for some fruit pieces and a little bit of juice is expensive. I kindly ask them "easy on the tajin" in spanish AND english but they don't understand. My recent experience was completely garbage, half of my drink was just three bricks of ice and the other half was pure tajin! It had maybe five crumbs of fruit. Oops! I did it again. I stopped by again for fresh fruit and a Turkey torta. Basically a turkey mexican sandwich with mayo, lettuce, tomato, and avocado as well as turkey on a toasted telera bread. The cashier remembered me fromt he day before and knew no spicy. I glanced out the window and saw the Gold's gym. Wow, these people are smart. Thought crossed my mind to stop and get nachos next time with fruit. Second time I attempt to get a donut at Shipley's and feel a gravitational pull towards kiosko. My daughter went up there to buy two elotes and it came out to $12 when she came in the car she told me that she spilled one and the whole toppings came off and she was left with just corn, so I gave her mine because she was upset. She dropped it inside and Valerie, the manager refused to give her another one knowing what just happened. Furthermore wouldn't put toppings on there. I work in the food industry and she handled that extremely horrible especially for a manager. They wanted her to pay for a whole other one. She only cares about revenue. I called the store and spoke with Valerie and she said she would give us one complimentary elote when we go up there, my daughter was by my side listening too. When going up there i spoke to Valerie, and my daughter heard her say she can get a complimentary mangonada too. While waiting a while she gave it to my daughter. We never wanted a mangonada either. She asked for the elote too. Valerie began to say she spoke to her mother and told her she couldn't give us a elote, only that. Which she lied because I remember speaking to her the other day about the free elote. I don't know why it's so hard to keep your word along with lying on top of that. How is it so hard to give the customer what they want and give them something they never asked for. El Kiosko did a horrible job picking her to be upfront along with managing. Now I will never spend another penny in there again. I'm sure i can find a real Mexican place with better prices for some corn. Please find someone with better hospitality. I love going to this place after a good workout. I get the #13 regular and it is perfect for a healthy lunch. The fruit is always fresh and the perfect ripeness and the service is always friendly. I walked into this place to get a smoothie expecting great food and service. Was I surprised! The person at the counter did not even acknowledge us and was very rude! The smoothie was bland and pricey for the size. I might have overlooked this had the workers been pleasant. They put way to many pieces of mango, not enough of the actual trole, the trole they did put was all melted, and the mango was too mature, to the point of rotting. Just to clarify this place is not a snow cone place . It is more like shaved ice. They probably only have like 10 flavors of the shaved ice, that is stored in containers like ice cream. They also serve ice cream, shakes which are called licuados, fruit bowls & a variety of desserts. When I walked in everyone was friendly and greeted me. This place is new. Since it's been open, I've been here 3 times. I was satisfied and everything was yummy. But the service was horrible because they take so long. Just like at any other place they should take your order and the person taking your order fixes your order. Their system is all backwards, but I believe they just don't have enough workers running the place. Oh, and by the way I had the spicy one with candy, It was topped with cucumbers and Jicima, and Chamoya sauce. Delicious but way too hot. I could barely handle it. The next time I tried the Mongo and half spicy. That one was better for my taste buds. My son tried the spicy and lemon. He had no complaints. One day I had a tostada with pork which had lots of flavor. Another day we ordered ice cream it came in an itty bitty 2 ounce cup and charged $2 for the ice cream. They are a little overpriced for what they give you. I know I can get the same thing at Dairy Queen for an 8 or 10 ounce Blizzard for $1 or $2 more. I will continue to go back but will probably call in my order so it will not have to wait so long. read more
