I've been a semi regular of 21 Bar for some years now being it the only bikini bar on my side of…read moreThe Bronx. In my experience, some weekday nights it'll be empty and I get to take my time talking to and chilling with all the ladies there. They have always been kind and friendly and of service and I can't recall ever having a bad night there. Much better than some strip clubs I've been to in NYC. There is no cover charge and a shot and a beer used to cost $10 it is now $12 due to inflation. I usually tip the girls the other $8 while they dance and twerk on the table. They have a juke box and a juke box app where you can play some music for the ladies to dance to, I think it's like $5 for 3 or 5 songs. Being the budget friendly place it is makes it easier to spend a little more time and money there and come back to visit again. Maybe because I'm a recognizable regular I have had good experiences with the security/bouncers, always greeted with a dap and standard pat down and still explained the rules (no pictures and no touching the women). One time I had a small situation with a drunk guy sitting next to me at the bar who was getting slightly disrespectful and annoying, I told the bouncer what was going on and he got me over to the nicer private corner and handled the guy. The owner Manny can be stern at times but I always greet him and he always greets me. I just get my drinks and talk/flirt the ladies on a chill vibe and I'm good. I always bring males and female friends when I can. I've taken girls there on two different occasions and the bartender/dancers showed them mad love telling them they were pretty etc. Definitely a good place to end your night at!

Well, I had decided to go here for my birthday back in 2020 when The Pandemic had happened so, I ate outside, I never made it inside. When Covid happened a lot of changes because I had to scan the QR code on the back to get the menu because to limit contact between others. The service was spot on , they were attentive. Now the food and drinks I had was ice water. A Pina Colada I've never had, but was disappointed because they watered down, I didn't taste any alcohol. I just had cheeseburger and french fries , which I couldn't finished. I also a fish taco which I never had before and it was delicious and I knew that they used fresh grease because of how they looked. I would go back out here for two reasons to check out the inside and for those fish tacos.

The awning keeps you shaded from the sun while you enjoy the open air, which made for a really relaxed and enjoyable afternoon. Cold beer, great bar food, and a laid back vibe -- hard to beat. We're coming back for an MMA fight night and possibly Cinco de Mayo. This place has the right energy for both. Highly recommend checking out happy hour if you haven't already.

The bar is a casual setting, keep in mind that there isn't a dress code! I've seen people come in after weddings! There are different themed nights and they bring in different DJs. The staff is either family, friends, or Harlem locals, and you can even bring your own food if you need some backup for those strong drinks. Drinks are fairly low, a Don Julio Margarita is $15, and if you have Laray or Tracey make them be prepared !! There are even nights where there are $100 bottles of Moet. The bar can get packed, so there is sometimes a bit of wait, but the bartenders never forget! There is a homey aspect and the bartenders even remember names and orders. The vibe? Local, chill, and all about dancing! The crowd can be mature but to be honest between the drinks and the DJ you will be moving! The music is mostly Hip Hob & R&B, with a sprinkle of reggae or AfroBeats. The music gets louder to make it a party vibe during the later hours on the weekend. Whether you're pre-gaming, winding down, or just want a casual night out (weekends or when DJHoody pulls up), this is the spot!
