Incredible selection of pastries and food! Authentic Latino cuisine. They even have a small, but adequate Mercado!

The Sarah cake with it's pistachios, eclairs that aren't soggy, strawberry Napoleans, etc... The hardest part is choosing. I want to buy 20 but settle for 2. It is probably best that we don't live nearby or I would be here daily. The breads are amazing too. Lots of options plus sandwiches and entrees. Did I mention the desserts? Don't skip a dessert, or two, better three.

Megan, she made the inspired recipe & maybe it has that touch of love that makes all the ingredients a well balanced hum! When I popped into Patrick's Deli in Edina today and ordered their Roseberry Shakerato -- it was waiting for me (& you?) ... something special I didn't know I needed but it stood out. How can I not order a decaf Roseberry Shakerato? Made with decaf espresso, this beautiful shaken drink arrived in a tall glass with perfect layers and a luxurious foam (the photo really doesn't lie!). The star is that dreamy swirl of pink rose-and-raspberry whipped topping on top. It's creamy, fragrant, and -- most importantly -- genuinely not too sweet. The rose and berry accents are elegant and balanced, finished with rose petals and a touch of pink crumble petals for texture. Every sip felt like a little celebration: floral, jazzy, uplifting, and just plain joyful. This is sophisticated, refreshing, and fun all at once. Whether you're doing decaf like me or going full caffeine, Patrick's Deli has created something special here. I'll absolutely be back. If you're anywhere nearby, treat yourself. This drink is main-character felicity in a glass.

The pastries here are really good! You have to try a little bit of everything, it's hard to not go crazy here and grab everything. The taro flavored pastries are my favorite. Just grab a tray on your way in and pick up whatever pastries look tasty to you with the tongs provided. You also have to try out their drinks here. They are really good! I would recommend the matcha. They are usually really busy so they aren't too friendly but they keep things moving. They do take the time to wrap up your pastries for you. I usually just grab my stuff to go since seating is limited when it's busy. It's a great spot to stop in for a sweet treat or quick snack throughout the day.

The selection is large, and they are contantly replenishing the shelves with fresh-baked goods. A lot of those are on the pricey side, which might contribute to a bougie reputation for this chain. But the items on the drink menu are much more reasonable. I had a matcha lemonade that was just okay; I don't think I'd order it again because you can't really mix it the way they serve it to you. But they have a whole bunch of interesting coffee and tea options. I also had a hot item that was pretty good. They have a heater that looks like something from a convenience store, and there are hot offerings in there like the flatbread-esque thing I had. It did actually taste quite good, but I think if they are serious about hot items they could manage a better presentation. There are compelling selections in that little box. The pastries I bought were absolutely delicious. Again kind of pricey, but the quality is immediately noticeable and I will 100% be back for some of those things. And I'll probably try some coffees & teas in the future.

The space is modern, charming, and fits perfectly into the beautiful, peaceful neighborhood. Compared to the St. Paul location, which I find a bit too busy, this café felt much more relaxed and enjoyable. The service was friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. I'm already a big fan of Marc Heu's pastries, so I had to grab some of my favorites. The Kouign Amann was perfectly crisp, buttery, and caramelized as always. I also picked up the Croissant Donut featuring this month's flavor--a pistachio cream filling topped with orange cream which was absolutely delicious. I also tried their new limited-time Croissant Ice Cream Cornet, a soft serve ice cream served inside one of their buttery croissants. Unfortunately, it wasn't a hit. This week's soft serve flavor was croissant and the combination of textures and fat left a thick, heavy aftertaste that wasn't quite for me. That said, I'd definitely give it another try when they rotate to a different soft serve flavor. All in all, Marc Heu continues to be one of my favorite spots for unique, upscale pastries. The Linden Hills location is especially worth a visit for its welcoming atmosphere and excellent service.

Information overload...are you ready?…read more Before our IVF transfer, which was a HUGE moment for us, at CCRM just across the way, we stopped into Rustica Bakery. We only had a few minutes to spare and thought, why not, let's treat ourselves. Best decision. The banana bread was hands down the best I've EVER had. I'm not exaggerating when I say I now feel like I need this in my life at least once a week....which is slightly dangerous. The space itself was busy, but there was still plenty of seating, and so many pastries and drinks to choose from. We had someone meeting us who was a little worried about parking, but there's a separate entrance (away from the mall) and plenty of spots, which makes it super easy. I'll be honest, the service didn't wow me, but the quality of the food more than made up for it, so it's still a five star experience in my book. Just something to know going in. Such a simple stop, and one we won't forget. It was the perfect moment before a really big one for us.
