A dozen (and some) cannolis, covered in powdered sugar and with chocolate chips.
    Katie B.

When anyone asks me where the best cannolis are in the Twin Cities, this is where I send them. Each time I've been there, the owner Tesh has been there and remembered that I had been there before. I've dropped in twice with no notice for a dozen cannolis, and he has given me fresh filled cannolis each time. Not only are these fresh, but they are the perfect balance of sweet and creamy. Truly the best cannolis in the Twin Cities. I've also ordered their cream puffs, which are out of this world. The filling is so balanced and isn't overly sweet. My wife usually doesn't love sweets but she said this was one of her favorite desserts of all time. I tell any fellow east coast Italians that this is where the Italian bake goods are. Truly go. You won't be disappointed with these sweets.

For breakfast, I ordered two slices of their cinnamon French toast, served with two eggs and bacon. To drink, I treated myself to a delicious, beautifully layered tiramisu latte. Another thing I absolutely love is their grab-and-go bakery case. It is so rare and refreshing to see so many clearly labeled GF treats, like their Lemon Bars and Almond Cheesecake. We couldn't resist taking some goodies to go, so we went home with a lemon bar and one of their GF Fruity Pebbles bars. If you're looking for a delicious, incredibly gluten-free friendly brunch spot with a great atmosphere, you have to check this place out!

They also had a delicious iced banana bread latte on their special menu...the banana bread cold fold was so, so good. Overall, great service, quick meal and really delicious food.

This time our family tried the 5th Avenue Minneapolis location right across from Twins Stadium. Quick tip, park in the garage facing the restaurant on the left side. It's an easy elevator ride up and the signage makes it simple. Matt was our server and did an outstanding job. Great service always makes a difference. Beverage options were excellent too, stuff for everyone, mimosas, specialty coffee drinks, and really solid drip coffee. The menu has a great balance of savory and sweet, so naturally we tried both. We had the breakfast sandwich with sausage, a BLT on a croissant, biscuits and gravy, pancakes with fruit, and a croissant-waffle fusion with lemon and sweet cream. Honestly, everything was delicious. What I appreciate most is the atmosphere. These restaurants just feel comfortable, welcoming, and easy to enjoy with family or friends. I'm excited they're coming to Maple Grove, but I'll still keep visiting the St. Paul, St. Louis Park, and Minneapolis locations too because I want to see our cities and local businesses thrive.
