i've been here twice now. i'm not local, but those corn tortillas i do think about on a weekly basis.

Food is amazing :) service is ok been coming here for years. The salsa is why i come here soooo good :)

This place got me at the chicken being grilled over the charcoal and smelled good but was anything but that , I ordered half a chicken combo, witch was $17 a $1 charge for using debit card. the chicken was dry and seemed like it was just sitting around and got reheated. Needs an image. I have been coming to this place for years because I love their green and red salsa tacos. The tortillas are like every taco place. Thee green and red slasa that the tacos come with are similar to the texture of tamales, well in my family we make green and red salsa tamales, think of it as tomato paste, but in chilli flavor. Accompined with beans that taste like El Pollo Locl beans. Iv'e always orderd them with pork meat and they don't just put the shreaded pork, they leave small chuncks of it. It's a lot of meat that they have to serve it with two tortillas underneath. Iv'e also ate their burgers, they are not the best or the worst, but the taste are like ones you can make in your back yard. The fries are like they have been cooked off of a frozen food place. Now the gorditas are really good, I do reccommend you try them, they are fat and you sometimes, if not experienced, have to use a fork to finish it. That's all iv'e ate there that I can remember. Standard mexican drinks, no alcohol, I think this place only takes cash. You can eat outside, or inside. The outside is ugly there are holes on the middle of the tables because I guess they used to be able to provide shade using a umbrella. The table is concrete and so are the seats aboutside. The inside looks old has a salon type feel inside especially when you get your order inside. Juke box too. I don't know how you guys feel about looking at the cooking area, but... kinda looks dirty so watch out for roaches lol, just kidding maybe... It is in pacoima so the location blows because across from them they have a nasty looking pool place and right next door to them there is a slezzy bar. parking blows too. It's in a poor neighborhood, plus no light to be able to turn. tuff to turn to the left so turn right, or take the back streets. It's been here for years so It can't be all that bad. read more

Honestly the food is not bad but it's also not good . The menudo doesn't have much flavor and the lemonade does not even taste Mexican . This is the type of food you can bare but you wouldn't come to again. The tacos are not that good and way to expensive just for one . Other than that it's pretty good if I had to rate it from 1-10 I'd give it a 3.5 read more

Went here one morning and ordered a breakfast burrito for my husband and a carne asada burrito for myself. Ended up waiting 20min instead of 10min (the amount of time I was told) and it wasn't very busy at all (3 people outside including myself). But I thought it will be worth it. There was a man outside grilling meat that smelled amazing....So I mentioned/asked 3 times for Red and Green salsa on the side....I get home and to my dismay the bag is full of green salsa and my carne asada burrito is nothing more than a sloppy watery extra bean burrito with the tiniest bits of meat imaginable. Like extra chopped to bits. Probably the worst burrito I have ever had. I was sooo looking forward to a nice hearty carne asada burrito with red sauce. My husbands breakfast burrito was good, so guess there's that. But I ended up going right back out to Los Campadres on Foothill and they fixed everything. This place is normally ok but the the old man "owner". Sometimes takes orders likes to over charge people. Careful they had advertised $3 per taco but at the window they we charging $4 I was trying to ask how much for the aguas frescas and this stupid pendejo was charging me for two and a total of $32 for 4 tacos and aguas that I didn't order. Small mom n pop place, good food , hand made tortillas, awesome grilled chicken. If your in a rush then go to McDonald's. I know the hard work it takes to make so many dishes in a limited space and with minimum help. I haven't tried all there dishes but so far so good. We were disgusted with their Chile Rojo burrito. It was watery and the meat...well there was NO meat, it was ALL fat. We will never go back.

The place looks like it needs to be remodeled its preety pricy the food is good but pricy..

This Place is Garbage. I came here for the convenience. The menu said one price and the cashier changed it last minute ( they have done this to my co-workers a few times). Food is bland and I caught a glimpse of the carne asada container. It was dated from 1 1/2 weeks ago. Will no longer come here. I don't recommend it. Save your money. This place is Basura..... When this place is on point, it's on point!! Unfortunately, it's not consistently on point. Their carne asada tostadas are HUGE and are loaded with beans and meat. The only downer is that usually they get sloppy with their meat and you will usually find huge chunks of fat within the meat. Some people like huge chunks of fat, I am not one of them. Also, their tacos are pretty good and the hot sauce used on it is spectacular! The carne asada burritos are also pretty good and the cheese they use on the inside is amazing. What's nice is that their servings here are gigormous and their mozarella here is fresh and so tasty!!! It's a pretty good place, not amazing, but worth the experience. read more

I drove by and say them grilling chicken on their patio. Smelled great and I soon found out it tasted even better. Very happy with the chicken: not over cooked and not under cooked-it was grilled to perfection. The chicken is worth a try. I tried to get a photo but the sold out!!! read more

BEST CHILE VERDE/GREEN CHILE int town !! Been coming here for years and years and always get the same. A green chile burrito!! Yeah the place is ugly, yeah the location is guetto, but the green chile is amazing !! SUPER HOT AND SPICY!! Good Carnitas also. Stay away from their burgers and fries, you should not be ordering those in a Mexican Joint anyways... Oh and their Horchata is watered down. Just writing about this makes me want a chile verde burrito now !! read more

Awesome grilled chicken on the weekends! Really good prices with hand made tortillas! Recommend this for anyone around the neighborhood.

Absolutely amazing food!!! I will for sure be coming back!!! I had the Chile Verde plate that was perfectly spicy and the meat was done so well with no fatty pieces. On top of the great food the people here are so friendly. They mad our experience so enjoyable! The cook even let me try a little taste of the chile verde before I ordered so nice! I have never felt the need to write a bad review until today. I used to come here as a kid a lot and remembered the food being good along with it being reasonably priced... we ordered 5 small items and 1 drink and paid $18. The price would not have been an issue had the service been better and the food a little tastier, but to top it off when my wife got her order the asada meat was barely warm at all, when she pointed that out to the waitress and requested that it be warmed she was told, rudely, that they had just taken the meat off the grill... which was obviously not true... after like 10 more minutes( way too long because we wr the only customers)the cook came out and told my wife that she would have to get the toppings on the side because that is what made the food cold, when my wife questioned that the cook was rude. Ridiculous, how do toppings cool off meat in a matter of seconds, because the kitchens was a very short walk from our table and they didn't wait for both orders to be ready and be brought out together... obviously the meat had been sitting out and they didn't even bother warming it up... needless to say we will not be coming back and strongly encourage you to not even bother. read more

As we dropped off of children to their learning destination we decided to try this place out for a real Mexican Breakfast. We were not disappointed! My husband ordered their Machaca con Huevo and I ordered their Huevos a la Mexicana. Everything was served with rice and beans and HAND made tortillas. We are also all about Salsas and this place had a real good green and red salsa. To top it off and bring us back to our visits to Mexico, we had to order a glass Coke. read more
