Churros, hot and fresh not overly sweet just the perfect balance.

Three Cultures Kitchen was one of the highlights of our stay in Guerneville. We ended up coming back for both lunch and dinner because the food was that good. The pupusas were absolutely delicious, the chips and salsa came out hot and fresh, and every dish we tried was flavorful and clearly made with care. The drinks were great as well and paired perfectly with the meals. What stood out most, though, was the customer service. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind, which made the experience feel even more memorable. You can tell there's a lot of heart behind this place. We'll definitely be returning the next time we're in town.

I heard this place was just newly open when we came through the city. It was a gem to find. The food is creative and delicious! I absolutely loved every dish! The Chocolate Mole and the sopas were so gooood. I forget what my BF got but we finished evey bite and definitely want to come back and try more of their seasonal dishes! Its very modern inside and comfy. The service was very sweet and checked on us often.

Amazing food here, everything we had was so good. The dishes are creative and well prepared, it's another level of eating out than most restaurants. Prices are in the range of most restaurants. Service is friendly and attentive with chic comfortable atmosphere. We are very fortunate to have this gem in our little town. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

    Chips, guacamole, and salsa (10/10!!!)

Truly stunning flavors and service! This was hands down the best meal I've eaten in months. My partner and I stumbled across this place on our trip Guerneville and ate here on their 7th day open. Special shoutout to the manager, Max, who chatted us up while we were checking out the menu from outside! This review is a little bit of a novel, but I have to gush about this place. The service: Friendly, shockingly smooth and organized for day 7 of opening (another shoutout to Max who was gently guiding staff when they missed something). The vibe: Warm and inviting, There were two, two-person tables outside on the sidewalk if you have a preference for outdoor dining (usually I do, but we are inside because it was cold and also the ambiance is definitely better than the sidewalk). Drinks: Menu has a mix of Mexican and local beers, local wines, and Mexican sodas. I got the 2019 woodenhead brut and my partner got the 2024 desire lines Sauvignon Blanc, both were great and went well with our meal. The Menu: in case you missed it, the "Three Cultures" in the restaurant name are Mexican, Salvadorian, and American. The menu is pretty vegetarian/pescatarian-friendly, one vegan entree. The Food: Chips, salsa, and guac -- 10/10!!! The chips came out hot and fresh, were a mix of yellow and blue corn chips, and were the right thickness/sturdiness to hold up the guac. The guacamole was the perfect ratio of creamy and chunky, salt and acid, a had just a tiny bit of heat. The salsa roja and salsa verde were so good I wanted to slather them on everything I ate (which I did). They were thick enough you could scoop them onto your chip, both had the perfect amount of heat. The salsa roja was a balance of smoky and spicy, and the salsa verde was bright, tangy, and slightly spicier than the red. Grilled corn ribs, chili oil, chipotle and cilantro mayo, cotija cheese -- 10/10 again! Incredible. Charred flavor, messy in the best way, fun to eat. The corn was juicy and tender and came off the cob easily (you'll still wish you had a toothpick after eating), and the sauces were creamy and spicy, and it was all even better if you slather on some of the salsas that came with the chips. Pupusa (zucchini) - 8/10 Tasty, but I think because we had just eaten two total flavor-bomb dishes, this felt a little muted in comparison. I love pupusas, and I think this could have had more filling, and the filling needed more salt. The curtido for me needed more acid, which I think also would have made it juicier which I would have enjoyed. The salsa roja was great, and it helped the dish to pour all of it over the pupusa to make sure you got enough flavor. I think if I were to repeat the meal, I'd want to eat this before blowing my palate on the other dishes. Spicy aguachile shrimp, cucumber, red onions, avocado, cilantro, corn tostada -- 11/10!!! You have an option of black, red, or green salsa for this and when we asked about the difference in flavor profiles we were told that black was mild, red was spicy, and green was extra spicy. They were out of the green, so we got red. This dish was truly incredible and oddly nostalgic. I grew up eating pepino con chile (aka cucumber doused in Valentina) and this dish evoked that flavor profile in the most comforting, nostalgic, but also totally elevated way. The shrimp was plump and absolutely perfect, the cucumber gave the dish that refreshing feeling, and it was all just so bright, acidic, tangy, and spicy! I had to ask for a spoon so I could slurp down every last drop. I would drive up from the bay just to eat that dish again. Churros with dulce de leche - 10/10 this was the dessert they offered and we had to say yes! The churros were hot, crispy, and fresh, and you can never go wrong dunking anything in dulce de leche. My partner and I were seriously blown away by this place! I hope that they stick around for a while so that we can come back on our next trip to Guerneville!

What a great stop while we were in Guerneville! My friend and I sat outside on the patio, the service was great. The radish potato salad was so fresh and had all the best ingredients. The bahn mi was delicious too. I hope they do well, I know when we went they had just opened.

We ordered a bunch of smaller plates to eat, and one was more delicious than the next! Our server was super knowledgeable about the menu and both nice and accommodating. The place is small but we sat outside, and it was a really lovely evening. We shared the Ensalada, which was really refreshing. The Brussels sprouts (Bruselas con camote) are NOT to be missed! We also really enjoyed the pastelitos de papa. We then split the Cachapa (with serrano ham, because, ham), and the Asado. Our group was 3 people, and we left VERY full, but not overwhelmed. My only regret is we didn't have room for dessert -- definitely next time!

Hidden gem! Literally…read more I would not have found this place if I wasn't sitting in the passenger seat and stuck in traffic trying to get on the freeway ramp. I look out the window and beyond the Denny's I see a restaurant, "Dos Culturas" I tell my husband, and we're both intrigued. My MIL has lived in the neighborhood for 2 years, and we passed by the place probably over 100 times, tucked away in the far back in the same parking lot as Denny's... and I only noticed the place because we were sitting in traffic. We finally decided to give it a try. First off, I love the huge menu. Obviously, it's fitting two cultures (Salvadorean and Mexican) on their menu, and they don't skimp. They have it all. We got the pupusa bombs (!) to share, and I got the chile relleno con carnes, and the hubs got a carnitas plate. The pupusa bombs are basically pupusas but in a ball, then deep fried. We got one bean and cheese, and one birria and cheese and it comes with birria consome for dipping. These really were the bomb! A bit expensive for what they were, but we still thoroughly enjoyed it. The chile relleno con carnes was really good, and exactly how I want a chile relleno to taste. Great batter, and great sauce, and it was topped with cheese, so you get the carnes and the cheese. :) Yum! I would definitely get it again. My hub's carnitas plate was good, and the portions were huge. I also really love the green sauce they give you with the chips. I could eat that all day. (Not sure if my digestive system would like it though. :P) Service was slightly slow, but that was just because the waitress was the bartender and waiting on the whole restaurant. She was very nice and welcoming, ...so it really wasn't too bad. I wanted to give this place some love because it's really good and it's so hidden, even though it's on a busy street. I recommend to the owners to get some signs to put on Santa Rosa Ave saying you exist there, because I seriously would had never realized this really good place was there unless I was stuck in traffic. Anyhow, I am very confident we'll be back. Would love to try the standard pupusas and lots of other stuff on the menu. They have breakfast too!

They left out the avocado completely and gave me a tablespoon of guacamole and sour cream, which was enough to have some in two of the 30+ bites the burrito offers. I called the location and the manager was very nice at first, she said she would make me a new burrito and to come in tomorrow, that she will make a note of it. When I got there, she was not a nice lady I talked to on the phone. She was immediately irritated with me and demanded a picture of the item. I did not have a picture. I took one through the review of the item on the app, but apparently that doesn't save it to your phone. She told me go ahead and complain through DoorDash. I can't help you. She wasted my time, energy, gas and basically stole my money. I cannot recommend this place, unfortunately. If you do decide to go there, make sure they don't do you, like they did me. Completely unacceptable and far from professional. If they followed through with the original promise to me, this would've been a positive review. It's unfortunate. Their leadership is too stubborn to admit mistakes.
