It is obvious that the employees really care, they want you to enjoy your food and experience. Servings are very generous. The burrito is HUGE! You won't go away hungry,. The salsa is spicy and excellent. And the queso is some of the best I have had, it is smooth and flavorful. A t other restaurants I have ordered queso that is pretty much tasteless but La Fiesta's queso is delicious. They offer vegan options including vegan crumbles that you can select as an option. This little restaurant is very authentic and sits off of Veterans Memorial parkway. It's a little awkward to get to the parking lot but once you find it, you will not be disappointed! This is a favorite of mine since I have found them because the food is always hot and fresh and made with love. There is always a lot of local traffic in and out of the restaurant that gave me my first clue that this place might have something special. Speaking of specials, they always have a daily special and sometimes two. Today I went with the Carnitas Gorditas and they were delicious! As usual I had already taken a bite before my picture so I apologize. Maybe that should be my thing? "One bite everyone knows the rules" oh wait that's another guys Schtick! We dropped in for dinner after picking up new phones at the AT&T store next door and on recommendation of the staff there. What a pleasant surprise! The decor is basic but clean and inviting. Our server was pleasant and attentive. The salsa tasted fresh and spicy. I ordered the one pound steak burrito. I really wanted to finish it but it was just too much! I got the avocado sauce on the side. Man, it is spicy and the server warned me! My wife ordered the pollo en crema de chipotle and raved about it. The dish is chicken breast strips cooked in a spicy, creamy chipotle sauce and served over rice. Amazing! My daughter got her perennial favorite chicken quesadilla and said it was one of the best she's had. I think we have discovered a new favorite! read more

We LOVE this place! We come here about once a week, sometimes, twice!! All food is made to order, so when they are busy it may take a bit of time, but TOTALLY worth the wait. They have daily specials that are deeply discounted regular menu items. $1 tacos on Saturday and (my favorite) Huaraches on Thursday's. Most importantly, all of the Staff is super friendly and helpful with the menu. Under new ownership and management, so if you have not been here is a while you should try it again. This spot has good daily specials and food that keeps us coming back here regularly. The chips are generally made fresh, the salsa is flavorful and on the spicy side, and the servers are nice. The Al Pastor meat (pictured here in the 1 lb burrito) is very flavorful, but the chorizo is tasty as well. Don't eat here only if you want to get sick!!!! Should be 0 stars. I purchased 2 burritos steak. I got home 5 minutes away. I took 2 bites of my burrito and my lady ate all of her burrito. 15 minutes elapse she is vomiting non stop every where. Shortly after my stomach begins to turn from the food also. It's gets worse, I call this place and speak to David the owner and inform him hey I just purchased food and we got sick. There's is something in your kitchen that may be contaminated or not kept to proper food temperature. David disregards what I say and speaks over me and tell me I don't know what you want me to do, it could not have been from here. The owners lack of empathy and lack of attempt to fix the situation. i am Mexican and can cook most of the items, but I like to go out to eat too. I hadn't been there in a while, because it wasn't very good once the new owners took over. However, I decided to give it another try. Again, I was disappointed. I ordered a steak torta and a side of rice. Both items had no flavor. I wasn't offered any hot sauce. So, I used the generic table salsa to try to add some flavor. It didn't help much since the salsa is bland too. The rice was a pale yellow and has no flavor. There are still no fountain drinks. This is my favorite mexican food in all of Lafayette. Everytime we come back from Colorado we make a point to visit. First off, the service is wonderful and attentive. There is no judgement here to mispronouce items and the chips and salsa come out super fresh. Secondly, THE FOOD! Prices are better than fair and portion sizes are huge. Everything is so flavorful and the marinaded pork is super moist. Nothing is spicy (which is good if you can't handle it) but they provide their house-made hot sauce to accompany the meal.
