10/10 RECOMMEND! Me and my girlfriend were a little worried when we realized it was in a gas station but DO NOT LET THAT FOOL YOU. This is some of the best Cuban pizza in the entire Miami area and made fresh to order with fresh ingredients. The crunchy cheesy style crust they produce on the outside of the pizza adds a ton of flavor. Locals were piling in to order pizza while we waited for our order we counted maybe more than 20 people at a time flooding in and that was the first sign we found a local hidden gem.

    Small cheese pizza

Wanted to try this pizza because the commercials are so funny. I was pleasantly surprised with the pizza and spaghetti Napolitano. We ordered take out and in 15 mins our order was ready for pick up. The spaghetti has the perfect amount of sauce, at least how I like it ( saucy) and full of cheese. The pizza was pretty good and the milk shakes were delicious. They are located in a gas station across from Miami Senior High. Very nice staff and great service. Give them a try

The views of the river are absolutely stunning and create such a relaxing atmosphere. We ordered the branzino, which was perfectly cooked and incredibly fresh, but the real star of the evening was the tiramisu. It was easily one of the best desserts I've had in a long time and the perfect ending to a special celebration. The service was warm, attentive, and made my mom feel celebrated. Between the gorgeous waterfront setting, delicious food, and wonderful hospitality, this is definitely a restaurant I'll continue recommending.

It's a fun place to check out if you're looking for a cute brunch or lunch with friends. However, take a hand fan because it's extremely hot even if sitting inside. The portions are huge, so most dishes are easy to share, but I do think they're overpriced for what you get. We had the chicken Caesar salad, which was fresh with crisp romaine, plenty of Parmesan, sliced avocado and grilled chicken that was well seasoned. The Montecristo French toast was enormous, thick slices of buttery brioche with a crispy golden outside, a soft, fluffy center, dusted with powdered sugar and served with melted cheese. ImIt was rich and definitely meant for sharing. The biggest disappointment were the drinks. We sat at the bar while we waited for our table and found out they don't offer the bottomless drink special there, which was a letdown. Instead, I ordered a $26 Limoncello Spritz and the flavor didn't match the price. It tasted like seltzer water, lightly citrusy but lacked the refreshing limoncello punch I was expecting, and it felt watered down. Overall, Elias on the River is worth visiting once for the atmosphere and a few great photos. The food is good, the portions are generous, but the prices are high, and the drinks didn't impress me. I'm glad I went for the experience, but it's probably not a place I'd rush back to.

We found everything we were looking for except they didn't have fresh cherries. That was disappointing. Maybe next time. This store is clean and shiny and I saw an employee working at straightening some shelves after customers had messed them up. I like that the TJ stores are organized similarly so that I can find things faster. The employees are very welcoming here with sincere smiles. The ambiance is friendly with good service. A special thank you to Pert at the cashier stand for her very nice and helpful manner. I loved her smile and great attitude. She was very helpful with our 2 full carts of groceries and asked Eden to help us up to the garage and lift the many bags into our trunk. She was very helpful. Kudos to Pert and Eden, who make a great team at TJ's! For your convenience, TJ's is attached to a parking garage and it is free for an hour and a half. An elevator takes you down stairs to TJ's to their entrance lobby where the carts are. You take the same elevator back up to your vehicle. They make it easy for all of us.

The ambience, both indoors and outdoors, was cozy and inviting, (could be a great option for a date night). One consideration for the owners: there are several stand-alone fans on the patio, but it would be nice if they released cooler air, especially during the summer. The food was good. Neither the carbonara nor the short rib ragù were necessarily the best I've had in Miami, but the portions were decent and the value for money was good. The service really stood out, and for that reason I'd recommend this place. The servers were knowledgeable about the menu and very friendly.

The Cacio e Pepe was balanced, but still flavorful. The choice of white truffles was an excellent one as it does not overpower the dish. The traditional flavors at there, just slightly enhanced for the truffle lovers. The carbonara was faithful to the classic, also balanced and packing the nostalgia of your Roman pastas. The portions are perfect as well. Pasta can be overpowering and we believe there is taste in delivering the optimal portion size. The wine list is carefully curated, although they were missing a few bottles we would've loved to try. We ended up drinking the vermentino, always a good choice. The ambiance is pleasant, the restaurant tastefully decorated; it really transports you. Overall, Pasta e Basta is a 10/10. Whether it's a date night or a lunch rendezvous, this place hits the spot.
