Great food, great service, and can't beat that lunch buffet. I was skeptical at first but it was amazing and the service was very good. The ambiance is probably the only thing that may need a little touching up. It's a little close quarters from what I remember which never bothers me but may some people. I personally prefer it but perhaps lighter colors would really open it up. The food is extremely good. The variety on the buffet is great in the fact the buffet is not huge, only one table worth, but the variety is where it's at. There will be something for everyone. I highly recommend visiting this place for the first time for the buffet so that you can try a variety of dishes. I cannot think of any huge critiques at all, except that I wish it were closer for me. 4/5 for amazing food and service but in need of a small makeover. read more

Not what we expected... Walking in noticed it is quite dated. Not a big deal, but the booths padding was not screwed down and shifted around, falling off the seat as I got up to go the bathroom. No alcohol, we were both looking forward to a margarita or a beer. The food was bland, and had no eye appeal, plate was brown and unappealing. Had to ask for salt , pepper and hot sauce as none were on any of the tables. Was given a bottle of hot sauce, but had no cap on top. We left after eating less than half our meals. My wife and I stopped for lunch. We each had two tacos-I had one chicken and one beef and my wife had two beef tacos. Everything was very good. The chips were warm, and we were offered either hot or mild salsa. The taco shells had been heated and were quite tasty. Service was outstanding. The place is small and could use a bit of updating. Thought Id try this place out since it's in the local neighborhood. Decided to try the buffet and unfortunately there was only like 4 items on the buffet and the food was not even hot. The food was decent, but could have been better. What really got me was when I went to check out, I was charged $20.00 for one buffet. Definitely was not worth the price I paid! From chips to our fajitas - everything we had in this place was just amazing! What a great find just off of Interstate 26. And it is open in Sunday evening! Chips and salsa were delivered first - and refilled by the way - and there was a choice of mild or spicy. We decided to share a seafood fajita dish with flour tortillas. The third in our party ordered the vegetable bowl which was pretty unassuming with only cheese and lettuce on the top but proved to have lots of other veggies when stirred - wasps pretty but tasty made up for it for sure. The crowning glory of the dinner was the guacamole!!! We chose spicy and it was the best guacamole we have ever tasted. Lina, our server, was attentive and right on top of things. This Mexican restaurant may not look like much from the outside, but their food is absolutely fantastic!! The service is great, and prices are also great. Best Mexican I've had in SC. Very authentic and super nice staff and owner. The guacamole was made fresh when we ordered and the chips were fresh with a fantastic salsa. My wife had the "street tacos" with steak which was super tender. I had the chicken fajitas which were the best I've had with fresh vegetables. The rice and beans were both flavorful. The owner talked to us for awhile and told us about a lot of other authentic dishes he cooks and we can't wait to go back to start working our way through them all. read more
