    * Hidden Gem ALERT!!!! I crave pupusas all the time so it was about time to locate my favorite spot in town. Like I always do; I came to Yelp for help and found this spot! I came right before opening so we were the first ones there; soon after it was flooded with customers...shown in the video! It felt comfortable; they had a t.v. and music playing in the back for kitchen staff. It was a chill ambience. This is what I got this time: 2 pupusas revueltas y Café This is what Im getting next time : 2 pupusas revueltas / Frijoles / Huevos / Elote tamal *Frito Con Crema y café ...Stay Tuned!!

Pupusas de Queso, pupusas mix (beans, cheese & pork), tamale de elote y plátanos. Jugo de mango y Maracuyá.

Went in on a Saturday afternoon. There wasn't too much of a crowd, which is perfect for me. The customer service was great. The food is amazing, got cheese & mixed pupusas, tamale de elote and plátanos.

I love the pupusas here. I don't know how to describe them because I don't eat them often. They were moist and tasty. I had jalapeño and cheese as well as beans and cheese. The cabbage was awesome as well. I appreciate Carlos because he was helpful with the pupusa options. He also allowed my coworker to try some horchata to see if he liked it. So if you don't know what good pupusas Tatar's like, come here and reach out to Carlos to let you know his recommendations.

We were in the area today and decided to stop by. I am always hesitant of trying Salvi places being Salvi myself and knowing my mom makes good pupusas. I am so glad we did. The food was perfect and I don't say that often of Salvadoran food spots. The pupusas were big and tasty. They truly felt like home. The curtido and salsa were also amazing. I loved that there was an option of having a regular and spicy salsa. The yuca frita and chicharron were flavorful, crispy, and fresh. I loved the platanos they were sweet and not oily. Lastly, the piece de resistance: the horchata de morro tasted as authentic as you can get. The service was great & we saw so many people come and go for pick up orders. Overall, 10/10. I hope to come back when in the area.

El Patio is the BEST FOR Salvadorian comfort food. A Sunday topical Salvadorian breakfast is awesome and don't forfeit EL CAFE.

Reminded me of my grandma. The pork however was overly cooked and too hard to eat, it was seasoned good though! Pastelito de Pollo Con Verduras (Chicken and Vegetable Empanada) 10/10 - So flavorful and packed with chicken and veggies! Platanos Fritos (Plantains) 10/10 - Sweet plantains, mmm mm mmm with a touch of salt! All I needed was a nice cold malta! Pupusas de Pollo Con Queso (Chicken and Cheese Pupusas) 0/10 - I was very sad to receive cheese only pupusas. No chicken at all, so unfortunately I didn't get to taste the chicken and cheese pupusas. I would assume they were great though because everything else was amazing! Curtido & Salvadorean Salsa (Cabbage mix & red tomato salsa) 9/10 - salsa was fire! Curtido was okay. I definitely recommend this place! The owner reached out to me and thanked me for my review, I love to see business who are active with their customers. Goes to show just how much they care about their food and their customers. I can't wait to come back and order more pastelitos and pupusas!
