I was craving pupusas comma so I tried this place out since I was in the area. The cheese and chili pupusas was excellent. The red sauce was extra hot which I like and the cabbage was very good. They have red cabbage and regular cabbage. Also they have several unique drinks. They said since they have a large customer base they're expanding the back as well you want to get there early because there is at least an hour wait after 12 Friday through Sunday. read more

It doesn't get any more authentic than this. Usually, you have to go to San Francisco to get solid Salvadorian food, but this place trumps plenty of those places in the city. The popusas can't be beat. Lots of other places try to make popusas, but I'd recommend you not waste your time and just come here. May seem a little pricey, however quality will be served! read more

I hidden gem deep in South Stockton. The papusas are the best I've had anywhere. The corn tamales were amazing too. The restaurant is small and give you a feeling that your eating at a relatives house rather than a business. The service was a little slow but I won't hold that against them because they were friendly and the food is worth it. Just a little tip, if you don't understand the abbreviations on the papusa menu, just ask and they'll explain. read more

This place is AMAZING! I have tried other popusas elsewhere. However, these are special. Not only the flavor of the popusal, the aroma of the small facilities, the friendly (almost like family) welcome you receive once you enter the little paradise of El Patio and the fact that, the owner is the one greating you. Came with my coworker to eat. We walked in and right away apologized for the A/C not working, which was fixed within 10 minutes. The young man as always is friendly and very accommodating. He had us try samples of their other juices. Food as usual was excellent. Can't say anything negative about their food and hospitality. read more

So I didn't take any photos cause my phone was dead but this little restaurant gets five stars. Make sure you look for it or else you'll pass it up. We ordered papusas, beef dish with rice, fried plantains with cream , sweet corn tamale with cream. They serve the papusas with vinegary coleslaw and salsa. Everything we ate was delicious. The horchata is not your Mexican horchata. This one taste almost like the marzipan candy. Very very good. Great customer service. Great little place. read more

I am very disappointed with the pupusas they taste more like a plain Salvadoran tortilla not enough filling and the tamales really small not good pupusas again this won't get not even one star from me. To proceed I have to five 1 star. read more

Came here for the first time to try somewhere new. The neighborhood was not the prettiest but don't judge a book by it's cover. Once you enter the restaurant, it is very cozy. Saw that the papusas were very popular so tried two of them. They were very delicious and for a very good price ($2.50 each) which also came with a good pickled salad and light salsa. Also tried the mango drink which was ok. The horchata however was very good. Overall great service and good food. read more

I used to go here a lot but my office moved to a new location and I miss it bunches!! The food is very authentic in the staff is amazing. They are so quick with the chips and salsa that you almost don't get to sit down. The portions are big so I always get a second meal out of it. The Baja is my favorite. this used to me my dads favorite place to eat. he went often. he died a few months ago and i went in there today with family to eat because its his birthday amd the guy that worked there gave us our entire meal on the house because he remembered my dad. very touching. not to mention the food was very delicious. i had never eaten papusas before and he took the time to explain the menu and was very friendly. this place is small amd kind of hidden, but for the service and the wonderful food, i highly reccomend it! thank you again el patio read more
