Food was amazing but honestly the service wasn't that great and the ambiance was a bit overstimulating. Server only came twice to our table to take the order and to drop it off. Couldn't even give us a refill on water. Next time I would just order Togo.

If you want Japanese Sushi don't come here, if you want Mexican Sushi come here. Other than Sushi they serve cocteles, tostadas, and ceviche. The jaiva in the California roll tastes different and the coctel de camaron ( shrimp idk how to spell shrimp in Spanish) was really good. Service was good and me and my family got our food fast.

I eat here at least once a week with my family but sadly I'm going to have to look for a New Mexican sushi spot because the quality and the taste is not the same from the times I use to come and for 50 bucks yea I think I'm going to have to look for a new spot idk if there usual cook wasn't there but today 0/10 in taste flavor be carful do not take to go make sure you try it first but because of this I will sadly have to look for New Mexican sushi and I drove from all the way from downtown LA so it is kind of a let down but this is an honest review

Update on El PeriSushi! Still extremely good! My husband and I share a Desmadre 3 Tray which comes with 3 rolls of your choice. Chose the Hot & Hot, Guamuchilito, and Res Blue. My favorite would have to be the Hot & Hot the Serrano in there gives it so much flavor! The tray comes with plenty of grilled onions, shredded carrots, green onions and their 2 house sauces. We also order the Hot Chiles de camarón which is a chile güero filled with cream cheese, imitation crab and shrimp, it's so good! And don't forget their Jasmine tea! Just a heads up there is only take out here, there is no dine in which is fine for us. So if your in the mood for Mexican sushi, this is definitely the place for you, everything is so good! And good for catering as well! We will be ordering some of these trays for our next family gathering!

This place, unfortunately, has gone down in quality and quantity and UP in price. A desmadre platter is now $44.10 There's rolls used to be a decent size, and the San Luis spread on top used to be a generous amount, but it has minimized a dramatic amount. I get everything has gone up, but they have also increased prices, so you would expect the same quantity and quality since the customer is also taking a hit. Just look at how skinny these rolls are. Sad to say, but we will be looking for another Mexican sushi place. Why are you pushing us away. We love supporting local businesses.

Mal servicio al cliente. Hablé para avisar que me dieron mi orden mal y la muchacha que contestó le estaba diciendo a los demás dice que según le dimos la orden mal y el cocinero o otro empleado le contesta no puede ser que le dimos su orden mal. Y por favor antes de tratar a su clientes de habladores pongan se en mute para que no escuchen lo que están diciendo. Y me dice que puedo pasar por mi orden cuando quiera entonces fui a la semana después y les llevo comprobante de recibo y una foto de lo que me dieron y le enseñó a la mucha que me está ayudando y otra empleada metiche responde ya aquí está tu orden todavía se molestan después que les enseño comprobante de que no soy habladora como dijeron y me salgo con mi orden y aún siguen diciendo cosas. read more

Whoa came in here expecting something that resembled sushi but was deeply disappointed. I tried the San Luis. I'd say more than fifty percent of the roll was rice and the "rice" itself was dense mush. Not only did it taste bland, it also tased/looked like it could have been sitting in the fridge for almost a week before it got deep fried. Hard pass on this place. read more

Brought my pops out here for his first time trying sushi and he loved it. I figured it would be a good way to ease him in, so this place is very good for first timers. El Desmadre de Sushi is the shit, so if you can find someone to split it with or handle it yourself I recommend it. The only complaint I had was that the place is a little small, but I think you can sit and order from El Perihuete right across the parking lot and it's pretty big in there. read more

If you're looking for some good sushi culichi style then you gotta try this place. The tea is on point and the sushis are too. They offer all the add ons just like in Culiacan, onions, carrots, etc. They offer a dish called "El Desmadre" you choose 3 different sushis and they bring them all together in a big plate. They were all good and tasty. The prices are also very fair for the portions. read more

Recently moved to Long Beach and wanted to find a good sushi/ceviche spot and sure enough I found a local good place. There ceviche is really good here and taste fresh. The only time I had a complaint is when it seemed like they got it from the restaurant up front idk if they are same owner or not but the ceviche definitely wasn't the same that day. Overall good spot will definitely come back. read more

I was craving sushi and i remembered about this place. So i stoped by 2 give it a try. Place is small. Staff is super friendly. I ordered a guamuchilito roll a crunchi roll and an order of the callos de acha 2 go. Rolls were delicious, and the callos de acha (scallops) were 2 die for. I Will definitely be coming back. Good prices, good food, good portions and friendly staff what more can u ask for. read more

Im sorry but this place was terrible. My deep fried appetizer was still cold inside and my sushi roll made me sick. I had to leave right away and use someones restroom because theirs was only for staff. I left my food hardly eaten. Service was terrible. read more

Always come here to pick up, too small of a place. I recommend " San Luis" pieces of shrimp with chipotle sauce and topped off with soy sauce I absolutely love it! It is my go to food pick up! I always order while on the way, staff does greet as u come in. Price is about 13-14$ but it is sooo good & is shareable ! read more

When to eat at El Perhuete Mariscos yesterday and realized tge owner had added all this sushi to the menu which all looks amazing and very delicious. So I decided to get a plate of sushi and also somebody school sweet ordered theSan Luis rolls OMG off the chain BOMB.COM and shared it with my date got us both full very delicious and tasty. Only bad thing no Siracha sause but didn't mind having it without it. It was FIRE!!! I would definitely go back and try I new sushi dish. Price was great too!!! read more

Their sushi was fresh and soo good. My husband however didn't like that the shrimp cocktail had a lot of cucumber in it. Tostadas de ceviche had a really good flavor as well. Their estimated times to pick up food were accurate. read more

This is probably one of my favorite sushi spots compared to other restaurants! They have a great selection of sushi cocido which I love!!! If you need to take a side dish to a party you can always order the tray " desmadre de sushi" I like how you can call in by phone and place your order. The staff has always been friendly when I visited! Only this is the Place is really small. read more

Don't believe any of these people! They are all just lieing to cover this restraunt's butt. First of all, the service was slow-mo, second, everything had immitation crab meat-awful awful immitation crab meat. Thirdly, when the food finally got to our table, it was super lukewarm and not hot or fresh at all. Fourth, Everything tasted the exact same, like a bland-deep-fried-immitation-crab-meat-filled-nightmare-of-nastiness. fifthly, me and my group all felt like we were ripped-off and wasted our hard earned bills on this bizarre-excuse for a meal. And sixthly, I felt disgusted with myself for slamming my hard earned bills on this food. Not worth our time or your time. The people who would like this slop are people with absolutely zero taste, or friends and family of the restaurant owner who were told to give this place's food a glowing review. read more

It's not just typical sushi it goes beyond what you are use to eating sushi. The variety of seafood rolls makes you want to order everything!! I recommend this place. Order the three platter deal it's good to select three sushi rolls. read more

Nothing is fresh. Lemonade is super sweet. Cook ran out of avocados, ran next door with gloves on and didn't change his gloves upon returning. He used dirty gloves to make our food. Never coming here again. read more

They purposefully do this to make you full off of rolls before you get to the actual nigiri. - On top of that their pieces of nigiri are TINY tiny and they make their filler rolls huge. All the characteristics of a sushi spot trying to take your money and leave you unsatisfied. BLEH! Way to skimp out.

kairi is just an OK ayce sushi spot with some nice decor…read more we came here on a thursday night and there was a short wait time, no problem, it passed by very quickly. their main menu has tons of variety from small plates to noodles to different types of sushi. the quality on that menu was just OK besides the premium menu options, which were really buttery and fresh. the small plates on the main menu had some hits (takoyaki and sashimi salad) and some misses (spicy garlic edamame). some of the fish in the main menu were also really grimy such as the tuna. additionally, the service here is fine. the servers are polite and only some will clear out empty plates. there are just so many ayce sushi spots in the cerritos area, so in my opinion, i would rather pay a little extra and head over to aikan or sake2me. still, it was nice to try this place out.

We've been getting our sushi from El Perisushi for the last year now & so far, it's always amazing. The rolls are fresh, the ingredients are fresh & the taste is amazing. Most of the time we get the big plate to go which it has about 5 rolls of sushi. The big plate is enough sushi to feed probably 3-5 people. They always give you side orders for free, including carrots, fried onions & chiles. They do have fried sushi & fresh sushi as well. Both are delicious so I'll recommend both! Overall I'll say here you'll find great sushi, great taste & at a reasonable prices. One thing for sure, there's no space to stop by & eat in here, you'll either take it home or eat in your car which I won't recommend. read more
