He ordered me salmon sashimi (my favorite) and salmon carpaccio with a side of edamame. The salmon sashimi was good and I like how it comes with a side of shredded radish. And the salmon carpaccio was delicious. I had a kick to it. Not sure it it was from the onions or pico de gallo on it. I like how it has the lime vinaigrette to give it that acidic taste. Also provided with shredded radish which was good to eat with the carpaccio. My husband ordered "monkey brain" (stuffed mushroom with cream cheese and spicy salmon). I had a bite of it and I had a great crunch to it. The inside had great umami from the mushroom and spicy salmon and the sauce on top. Definitely recommend this place. I wanted to post another review for my favorite roll spot with a photo this time! My family and I ordered from here again using Uber Eats, and got our usual order. My absolute favorite is the Tempura Roll. They do not skimp out on the filling for any of their rolls. Even though these were delivered, the Tempura Rolls were still warm and super fresh. The spicy mayo and eel sauce on top are so yummy, and the crunch is so good! I also enjoy their Crunch Rolls and California Rolls. *This review is based off of a take out order * I live locally and wanted to try this place since our regular spot was too busy for a takeout order. My husband called in the order and was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. He went over there and stated that it was a small place and hardly anyone there. I thought this was slightly strange considering it was a Friday night during lent. My husband said the staff was very nice and handed him the food at the time promised. He brought it home and we sat down to eat it right away. The rolls were decent. We ordered 1- 4 Season, 1-Candy Roll, 1- Ozen Sushi, 1- Rainbow Roll, 1- Washington Roll, 3 orders of salmon shashimi and 1 order of salmon carpaccio. For the record, I have nothing bad to say about this place at all, I've just tasted better sushi at other restaurants so my 3/5 stars is based off how much I enjoyed the taste and flavors. The rolls were decent. Presentation was nice even for a to go order (in the pictures I had moved everything around because I forgot to take pictures first ). Sauces came on the side a plenty. The salmon carpaccio was pretty good, but I felt it was missing something. The only "down side" was the salmon shashimi was falling apart at the lines, which indicated to me the cutting was done improperly. Both parties received 2 rounds before we got the order we placed before they got there. They tried to get me to re-do the sheet for AYCE because they lost it. We were there for 2 hours and they never apologized for the wait or losing our order. Didn't offer anything to compensate.
