Raw oyster premium items. Make sure you know these out before the regular menu

This is my new favorite place. The staff is extremely friendly and caters to all your needs. Overall the fish is fresher than Aikan sushi. Aikan has a lot more non sushi items, so I can see why some people may like that better. This place only has trouble with a bit of foot traffic. The price is almost $6 - $7 cheaper than Aikan, and I make sushi and couldn't buy the fish for that price and I don't work for free either. It is a good deal, and they give a salmon collar. The tempura has a light batter and is cooked perfectly, and the spicy garlic edamame is a good chaser in between sushi eating. This review is long overdue after eating here at least 6 times already.

Went to Kairi sushi on wednesday afternoon for their AYCE happy hour. It's $26.99 per person from 11 (i think?) to 2:30pm It's my second time coming here and they've been consistent with their food and service. We ordered nigiri's from their AYCE menu and their fish to rice portions are amazing! Service was decent, it was a bit busy so there was a bit of a wait but nothing bad at all. The place is spacious and clean, shoutout to whoever was on aux good music.

kairi is just an OK ayce sushi spot with some nice decor. we came here on a thursday night and there was a short wait time, no problem, it passed by very quickly. their main menu has tons of variety from small plates to noodles to different types of sushi. the quality on that menu was just OK besides the premium menu options, which were really buttery and fresh. the small plates on the main menu had some hits (takoyaki and sashimi salad) and some misses (spicy garlic edamame). some of the fish in the main menu were also really grimy such as the tuna. additionally, the service here is fine. the servers are polite and only some will clear out empty plates. there are just so many ayce sushi spots in the cerritos area, so in my opinion, i would rather pay a little extra and head over to aikan or sake2me. still, it was nice to try this place out.

For all you can eat sushi places kairi is pretty well priced and the fish is usually great. I've been here a few times now and they have solid consistency. The service on the other hand could be better although the workers are nice and friendly it'll seem like they forget you at times and are just kind of slow even on weekdays. Place is nice over

A must try! Very good fresh food. Great selection on rolls. Awesome customer service from the whole staff. Efficient and attentive. Clean, organized, and spacious dining area.

Came here for dinner with my family and had a mixed experience overall. The ambiance was nice, comfortable and inviting, which made it a good spot for a family dinner. The food was definitely the highlight, everything we tried tasted fresh and well-prepared, especially the sushi. Unfortunately, the service didn't quite match the quality of the food. Our server wasn't very attentive. At one point, I asked for a fork for my mom and it never came. After waiting a while, I had to flag down another server who finally helped us so she could start eating. There were also a few mix-ups during our visit. A dish meant for another table was brought to us, and when I pointed it out, the server questioned whether we were sure we didn't order it, which felt a bit awkward. On top of that, there seemed to be some confusion or inconsistency with ordering rules. We were told carpaccio orders were limited to one of each per person. I ordered the seared tuna, salmon, and yellowtail carpaccio, but only received one of the three. Overall, the food was great and worth trying, but the service issues made the experience less enjoyable than it could have been. Hoping they can improve on that.

Kairi Sushi is a great addition to Cerritos! Sake2Me used to be my go to spot, but they stopped doing à la carte, but Kairi does and has since been my new go to. I've only done à la carte here and it's always been solid! They've also had a special where all rolls are $10, which I thought was a steal for the quality of food. I've tried a few fresh rolls and baked rolls and have been impressed with everything. I'll definitely have to come back and try the ayce option one day. Service here is friendly and there's never been a wait when I've gone for weekday dinners. It's located in a fairly large plaza, so parking has never been an issue.

I had wanted to check out the weekday lunch AYCE special at Kairi Sushi ($26.99 + tax as of November 2025), which is a great deal. We found parking easily in the large lot and walked in for lunch on a Friday with no wait. Service was attentive and friendly and they regularly cleared our empty plates. The all-you-can-eat menu is extensive and I appreciate how most of the rolls are four pieces. The fish to rice ratio is also very favorable for the nigiri. I enjoyed the appetizers and hot food as well. The hand rolls were great. It was fun having spam musubi on the menu, and they even had a promotion with a free salmon collar for lunch. All of the dishes came out beautifully plated. I left stuffed and the quality was great for this price point. No major complaints!

Come hungry -- seriously. For an all-you-can-eat spot, I was very impressed. Service was excellent, with the staff checking in on us regularly and keeping everything moving smoothly. The food was really solid, and we got to try a bunch of different sushi options, which made the experience fun. Came with a group of friends and we all walked out absolutely stuffed. The price is a bit steep at around $37 + tax per person, but if you can get your money's worth, it's definitely worth coming here. Overall, great service, good variety, and a solid spot to hit with friends. I'd come back again.

Came in for dinner and it was sooo bomb. It was busy but there was plenty of seating. Got the AYCE sushi for dinner. Parking is plenty. The parking lot is huge, However the shopping center is busy so be prepared. Plenty of seating inside Kairi. Clean establishment. Restrooms available. 1 for women, 1 for men. Appetizer selection is plenty. This is by far one of the best sushi places I have been to recently. The selection and options you have are a nice variety. We were full by the 2nd round. The portions are decent also. We got full so fast lol. Please be advised that they do enforce the pay for the pieces you don't eat. The service was good. They left us alone besides asking us for refills and next round. We will be back for sure.

Second time here and while I was amazed the first time, it was somehow even better! Food was delicious and super filling. Service is great - friendly staff that's always walking around cleaning up and taking plates back. Ambiance has vibrant music and plenty of parking spots.

First time going to Kairi Sushi! Went during happy hour going into dinner. The place was half-full, no wait. We got the premium AYCE. There's a separate order slip of the limited ayce options, we ordered all of those first. Everything was delicious. My favorite was the Carpaccio and oysters from that section. Regarding the rest of the menu, I'm partial towards both the baked and crunchy Langostino rolls and Las Vegas Rolls. All of the other options were fine, got full after two big orders and had to focus on my favorites! I definitely recommend if you like AYCE and sushi, try this place out and compare it. The business was clean, the waiters were quick and friendly, all of the food was served on fancy plates or planks. Good stuff!

Ask the Community - Kairi Sushi

How much time notice is needed to order a large party platter to go? Is an hour before pick up enough time?

We recommend placing large party platter orders at least 2 hours in advance to help us prepare everything fresh and on time. Thank you!

Hello, I'm planning a work lunch for (tentatively November 6th) about 18 people. Can you accommodate a party of that size, and will your $26.99 AYCE lunch special still be valid next month? Thanks!

Yes! We need reservation for big parties. Please give us a call for more information!

Is the $26.99 AYCE lunch special still live for this month?

Yes! Monday through Friday between 11:30am to 2:30pm!🍣🍣

I have a 6-year-old son who doesn't eat sushi, so I prepare his own meals when we go out to dine. Will he still incur a charge even if he doesn't consume the restaurant's food?

What are the prices for ayce as of June 2025?

LUNCH $26.99 (MON-FRIDAY11:30-2:30) DINNER $36.99 WEEKEND $36.99

Are solo diners allowed here?

YES!!

Does everyone in the party have to do ayce?

Yes

How much is ayce on the weekend ? How many pieces are served for nigiri during ayce?

The AYCE weekend price is the same as the dinner price of $36.99 (unless the price has changed). There's a small note on the menu under the dinner price mentioning "*Dinner price for Friday, weekend, and holidays."…

Can I make a reservation?

No. And entire party must be there in order to be seated.

Hi. Do you take reservations?

Yes we do!

Hello! What are your prices for all you can eat? Also, can kids order a la carte? We look forward to a family friendly AYCE sushi spot in the neighborhood! :)

They do have a la carte options. Kids prices are based on height. Less than 40 inches are free. 40-50 inches $14.99. $31.99 adults lunch Monday - Thursday…

The staff and service are kind, and prices are fairly reasonable. There are a few tables inside and a few patio seats. They also offer catering and delivery services. My wife checked all the reviews on Yelp early before we went there for lunch today. Little early at 11....nobody there, the chef was cleaning the floor. We know what to order at sushi restaurants, my wife and I chose 2 special rolls, Washington and Eel. For drinks, not many choices....no Sake. Very dissapointed. We got Sapporo beer that is why. The complementary salad was served first, and our rolls w hot miso soups. The roll size is smaller, but fresh, great rice, and the flavors for miso soup abd salad were great. I really liked eel rolls. And we ordered more yellowtail roll, 2 sushi, one yellowtail and another is eel. My fave is always Eel. My wife likes Washington, she likes salmon. She really liked Washington. Melted in your mouth! Overall the vibes are casual, any typical sushi bar concept. The chef as well as an owner is using the bar for making the sushi, rolls. The space is so tiny like take out vibe. The chef was answering the phone order, making rolls, sushi, serving our foods. Wow!!! One person does multi tasks. Water is self service, the coffee is free. The menu is simple, bento, bowl for lunch, specialty rolls, sashimi, sushi. This restaurant is good for take out, Uber delivery. Lots of catering menus. I will definitely come soon for the different rolls and sushi.

Could they maybe include it in the togo order? The amazing host/server (Michelle) asked me what it was... a cone shaped deep fried thing filled with imitation crab? When she returned with our order, she said she threw it in there for us. No way? And she even wrote us a note on top of the box "Have a good night! Enjoy :)" I love her so much! And especially the sushi chef in the back, who wrapped our rolls with love. I did feel like there was a little more rice than I would like but honestly it was gone in minutes and everything was as fresh and lovingly arranged as I remember.
