I was at an event at WonderLove when I saw the food cart and wanted to try out the empanadas off their menu. I had vegetarian ones, which were pretty good, have to check out the other varieties next time.

Aji is an amazing new spot over here at Wonderlove. The owner and employees are lovely! The empanadas might be some of the best food items I've ever had. Really good prices and the vibe at the food cart pod is always just what it needs to be and more when you want it to be. Highly recommend stopping by, it's my go to spot now anytime I'm over here

Note there's only street parking available, but there's lots of shops and stores around nearby to walk around. :) I walked in around noon, was greeted kindly by all the staff and there was already a decently sized line but the line went by super quickly. I like how there's laminated menus right as you walk in you can take over while you wait to order at the counter. I ordered their tuna salad with sweet onion dressing, as well as their mango smoothie. I am STILL thinking about the salad!!! It was so fresh, the dressing was to die for soo flavorful. The smoothie was also super refreshing to wash it all down! I can't wait to stop by once more after my monthly skincare appointments across the street, it'll bet favorite treat to look forward to

If I lived closer, this place would be a problem. A delicious, carb-scented problem. I already drive 30-40 minutes just to get my hands on these breads, and I would do it again without hesitation. Yes. Yes. And yes all day long. I need more of the Japanese custard bread bread. I am currently drooling. Please send help. Or bread. Mostly bread... with custard. The lovely taste of the bread that's not too sweet filled with custard that is also the perfect amount of sweet. The cinnamon rolls... if you are gluten-free, I would definitely run to this place. The customer service is so kind whenever I ask about any other allergies they make sure to know. The seating is a fun filled modern vibe. we made a few friends haha. I love that you can buy bread there and the bread is also delicious. See you at kirari West! Ps. Save me some pastries for me! Cheers mates!

Staff was incredibly nice and provided suggestions for us as there are a number of choices to pick from and most of them sounded amazing so narrowing it down to just one was very hard. They make their own marshmallows and you can purchase some of the flavors to take home as well, a great souvenir if you know someone who is a big marshmallow fan. I went with the Buckeye, because peanut butter! And all of the S'mores are on gluten free graham crackers which honestly seemed to taste so much better than regular graham crackers that always have a stale taste about them. My husband had the Rollin' in the Dirt (think a dirt cake) and also gave it two thumbs up. They told us that they are looking to relocate just across the street from their current mini location so don't fret if you don't see them in this same spot!

Dearest gentle readers,…read more A most scandalous correction must be issued how careless of me. The establishment in question is none other than the divine Grassa, a name that now rolls off the tongue with the same richness as its most indulgent fare. And oh, what fare it is. Here, along the lively stretch of Portland, one may witness noodles brought to life before their very eyes fresh, authentic, and handled with a confidence that borders on audacity. These delicate strands are then enrobed in a mac and cheese so decadently composed, so brazenly elevated, that it dares to redefine comfort itself. And just when one believes it cannot be improved enter the pig belly. Crisp, tender, and unapologetically rich... a finishing touch that transforms the dish into something whispered about in only the most exclusive of circles. Yes, dear reader, this is the sort of indulgence that lingers long after the final bite... the kind that ruins lesser versions without remorse. And so, with that final truth properly set, I take my leave once more. The tales of this fair city draw to a close, but not without leaving behind a most delicious legacy. Until our next adventure ever eastward. Yours most faithfully,

The food was freshly prepared and served promptly to the table. They have a selection of alcoholic beverages as well. Definitely would visit again if the occasion arises.

Bottom line, I was more than satisfied and recommend The Daily Feast 100%. I was in town for my father's funeral. Staying in a downtown hotel, I wanted comfort and variety instead of the same old "complimentary breakfast". I asked the desk clerk for suggestions, and he offered two options. I decided to try The Daily Feast first, and I never bothered with the other place. As I entered I was cheerfully greeted and directed to a spot at the counter. There is a winding counter and several booths. I could smell the delicious aromas coming from the kitchen. It felt cozy and welcoming. Coffee was delivered and the special was enthusiasticly explained. I opted to try the Chilaquiles. Amazing! Spicy sauce, fresh tortillas, hot perfectly cooked eggs, yummy. I had a different dish every morning and they could ALL easily be my favorite. I went here for breakfast every day of my stay. My last day I was dressed up for my father's funeral. My server (who's name has now escaped me a year later) asked about my change of attire. I told him where I was going after breakfast. He immediately held up his arms and offered a warm hug. It was a human moment that I won't forget. I am so happy that I found this special place.

Took a short walk here from the Royal Sonesta hotel to have dinner after a long adventurous day out…read moreand about in Portland. We decided on outdoor patio seating since the weather was nice & it was generally quieter outside. We were people watching for a bit and noticed that our fellow restaurant goers were waiting for quite a bit, but we weren't in a hurry, so it was fine. When our waiter eventually tended to us, he was incredibly friendly & apologetic, owning up to the delay being on him, but we were cool with it -poor guy was working a double shift. We started off with deep-fried okra, I ordered the fried chicken meal, & hubby ordered the burger. I got to pick the chicken pieces I wanted, so I went with 2 thighs, thinking they'd be smaller pieces, so I could maybe finish my meal. I opted for collard greens as well. The food came relatively quickly and was super-fresh. The fried okra bits were piping hot down to the last bite. They went well with the spicy aioli. We hung onto the aioli so hubby could dip his fries. My meal was so good. The chicken was incredibly tender and flavorful. The batter was just perfect and crisp. Mashed potatoes were smooth and creamy. Gravy was rich and well-seasoned. Collard greens were so tasty. The balance of textures was just perfection. I ended up having to pack up a piece of chicken because it was so much food, but I enjoyed every bite I was able to take of my meal. I appreciated their welcoming vibe & the beautiful pride balloon arch inside the restaurant. I appreciated the friendly service. I appreciated the thoughtfully and expertly made food. It was a perfect way to end my culinary experience for this Portland visit.

This place was packed on a Sunday morning and the inside was beautiful living up to the country vibes of the restaurant. Staff is super friendly and had really good recommendations. What we ordered: Cinnamon rolls(this reminded me of the old-school Entenmann's dessert had like a creamy custard in the inside of it, which was absolutely amazing. Came out nice and warm) Chicken waffles country, fried steak and eggs The country fried steak and eggs was 1 million out of 10 was the thickest piece of country fried steak I've ever had in my life and I'm not a big fan of country fried steak but this was a hit for me. She asked me if I wanted the white gravy or the brown gravy and asked her what was her recommendation. She said try both and I was glad that I listened to her. It was Rich. It was creamy. It was flavorful. Its homemade and it was huge. I would definitely recommend this place. If you wanna have breakfast I'm from California and I wish there were something like this.
