Visited Oregon for the first time and saw this spot recommended on Tiktok in Portland. Very happy I came to check it out! Upon arrival we saw a tablet to put yourself on the waitlist and it wasn't that long of a wait on the weekend. Having grown up eating ramen in Japan, I don't like the ramen served in the Portland much since it's usually bland and soft-noodled comparatively, but Ryoma is a safe haven from that. The classic shoyu broth is my favorite and always perfectly salty, their chashu is just right, and so is the texture of the noodles! Their appetizers are great and perfectly seasoned; karaage is always my go to. My friends prefer the takoyaki! Compared to their location in Beaverton, I would say the quality at this one is more consistent. The interior is cozy and the service is fine.
