Been going here about 2x a week for the last few years, it's right by my office. The last year or so it's gone downhill. The interior is Very dirty, drink station gross, tables and windows smeared and grubby. We started getting drive thru. Today 2/16 got a queso chicken bowl about 1pm and there was a 6" hair in it. This location needs a review. I had visited this location numerous times up to about three years ago, when i moved away, and all good. I'm back, and on three separate visits all after 7pm, last being this last Wednesday,found the chicken lousy, no flavor, either over cooked or under cooked at the three different visits. I finally found a Pollo loco location that is nearly perfect! I have to drive a bit further than the closest locations to me, but it is worth the drive. The chicken here is cooked to perfection, and has the same flavor that I've always known and loved from Pollo Loco. I came to this location two nights in a row and was not disappointed. The customer service is not the best, but it is still better than other locations. This location always has all of their salsas and their Serrano peppers readily available. They also follow their recipes down to a tee. This location has plenty of parking, a decent amount of space to eat inside and kiosks to order from. Overall, I am very thrilled to have found this location! I wish that the closer Pollo Loco locations were run like this one is! read more

I have a issue with one employee at drive tru a month ago a nice lady call me which it's the manager she was very nice and she offered me a meal next time, so few weeks ago I went back asking for her and another lady she said she's the manager but she's not very nice she was so rough and said give me her name in the manager I don't know who it's the one you talked to, nothing to do with the one who spoke before. That's why I'm never we back there, employees are not friendly, if they not happy with their jobs, they shouldn't be there. read more

Iwas called racist by the last manager simply because i asked a question and no one spoke english. I went in this time because there is a new manager. Don't ask questions in this place! I asked them about an offer on the app and the young man acted like he was annoyed. So he told me he didn't know anything and that I needed to wait at least ten minutes to ask a question from a manager. I waited. Finally got my order in. Sat down. I realized that the young man didn't give me my drink which they usually do and I watched him hand drinks to everyone else who ordered.Then he started calling numbers but he skipped mine. After about 20 minutes, and I waited a good long time to make sure I wasn't mistaken. I went back up to the counter and said to the lady manager I didn't get my drink. When she handed it to me I said you know they didn't give my food either. Is there a problem? I watched another man, come in who was White and he didn't get waited on either. And then they had a problem and as he was leaving he looked over and said "they don't like White people coming in". I said thank you sir. I thought maybe I was being critical. He said no. It's true. The last manager they had got mad and called me a racist but because I couldn't understand any of the people who didn't speak any english. I was very upset and I said I'm not racist just because I can't understand someone. They wonder why people voted for them to be deported! read more

I came here to get the 3pc chicken meal with a side of mashed potatoes and broccoli to go! The 2 machines to order and made it quick and easy when it was pretty busy around dinner time. The chicken was juicy and tasted great but the 2 sides were decent and lacked some flavor. I'll most likely come back for the chicken and fast pickup! read more

This is just the worst El Pollo Loco. They take forever, don't assist customers at the counter. I've ordered online a few times to bypass the extra wait at the counter, and it still takes 10-15 minutes to get staff attention to ask about picking up the order, and then it's often still not ready. read more

One thing I like about looking for keto friendly or protein rich meals is this place has wonderful offerings under 10 bucks manage to pick up the protein chicken bowl and the keto burrito... But my roommate and I instantly fell in love with the flavor the richness I love the avocados can't say enough. I found the staff to be a lot of fun it's obvious the store is really great everybody has a lot of fun working together and I enjoy just being part of the environment. Micaylah and Guadalupe were the most fun but everyone else made the experience great. when you go here give them a little time because these ingredients are fresh and they require special handling this is not something that you're gonna walk in and out of in five minutes but you'll find every minute of weight well worth a taste! read more

Had a not so good experience ordering dinner for the family. The service was not that good. Had to wait over 25 minutes for my order that was not that big (Tostada, chicken burrito, wing lovers, and tacos al carbón). Server accidentally dropped my food from the counter and had to remake the order. But neglected to let me know what had happened. I found out from a customer who say the accident. This place was not low staffed but the manager seemed not to have a handle on how to manage their team. My pet peeve is when I go to a drive through and after each item I order they respond with "okay is that it", "is that it?", "is that it?" Makes you feel like you're asking them to do too much. So the fire-grilled combos are $7.00 now instead of $5.99. No big deal, inflation's coming to get you. I ordered the shredded chicken quesadilla (which comes with chips and a drink) plus a double chicken bowl. I pull up to the window and the worker charges my card. I wait for a bit, and he calls out: "YO!" A little direct, and I could tell he was impatient. He hands me my food and I ask for the drink. He tells me that I didn't order a combo. I ask, "I didn't?" And he looks at me, then to his screen, and says "Yeah, no combo." I pause for a second to try to remember. And I thought he was right, so I just drove off. Turns out, I got charged for the combo, with no drinks or chips. I only got the a la carte quesadilla. I looked at my bank statement and sure enough, the total adds up. I have been coming to this location for over 10 years and I can honestly say I have seen a huge improvement. From the customer service to management I can say they are doing a great job. I came here after work on 2/7/2023 at 9:20 and the manager took my order. I got some nachos and asked for a replacement on the meat which he kindly said was not a problem at all. They must have been very busy and told me they would be a few minutes to get my order ready so I told him I would wait up front in my car. They offered me some churros for my wait which honestly they didn't have to do but I appreciate the extra effort. Will definitely be coming back often to this location. read more

i drive past this location on my way from work regularly, and today I stopped to get two orders of their new El Pollo Loco Tamale bowls. It's a decent meal for the price. The drive through customer service was great! The young lady at the window was professional and very personable. My orders were the chicken tamale with a leg and thigh (if I am correct), which came on this to go-platter on top of rice with a serving of pinto beans. The tamale itself wasn't bad; however, it was more like having an enchilada. In addition, maybe it was just this piece of chicken (As it was just one leg piece that came), it just didn't have that symbolic El Pollo Loco flavoring.
