I have been waiting to write this review to see if the service was consistent. The food is normally good and fresh. Today not so much pretty dry. But that's not why I'm leaving the review. I have gone through the drive thru probably a good 6 times. Every single time the person taking the order which is normally the same person at the window, is extremely rude. I'm always super rushed and have not been able to fully order at the speaker because they go so fast and don't ask if you need anything else or "is that all for you" they just say okay drive up. Then you get to the window and if you need anything or because they went so fast and rushed you, they do the same thing at the window and make you feel like an inconvenience. I also never order slow and I'm not difficult so it sucks that when I want to grab a bowl here I dread it because of how awful the service is. It makes me wonder how people who have a hard time ordering are treated whether it's disability or other factors. This includes their management team as well. I usually order from this location and it's a hit and miss. Sometimes my order is either missing something or messed up and other times it's literally perfect! It's the closest one so if I really want it and don't have time, I usually hope for the best. This happened again today. Picked up a quick order and I usually order off the app. I ordered 2 tostada avocado bowls and I asked for no pico and of course it was on there. The avocado was gross looking like rotten. My mom ate the tomato salsa and she had to spit it out because she said it tasted rotten. The avocado on hers was rotten. I should have checked my order before I left but I had no time. I was on my break and grabbed it really quick and why I order online for a quick pick up. Please make sure to double check everything. Cancel in less than 2min now they charged me 39.99 because they said food was already made by the time I canceled..I called uber eats to let theme know about the incident the told me they can't do anything...so I asked theme can at least get a store credit and just hang up on me..just b3 careful when you order food from there and decide to cancel you have to cancel in less than a minute to not get charged. read more

If I pay seven dollars for a soup I expect the container to be full. I get chicken tortilla soup at many El Pollo's in the area- so I am only comparing to other El Pollo Loco's. I don't want to hear excuses that this is a fast food restaurant. I pay for my food and I get great food at other places. They are very chintzy on portions here and my double chicken Pollo bowl only had enough chicken for a regular Pollo bowl. I have gone here several times and they are not consistent. Their soup is bland too- so I guess they are not putting as much sea in it as other places do Now they've changed the soup base at all El Pollo Locos and it's greasy and has a plastic taste. I'm very disappointed. This one has horrible service too. The left today didn't give me the tortilla strips or cilantro for my soup and tried to argue with me when I went back through the drive through to ask for it. She said she put it in my bag. I showed her what she put in my bag (all items besides the soup) and she asked to see my soup! I just went through the drive through and was already upset I had to go back and ask for items that should have been in my order. Then she acts like I didn't order soup! Plus the cost of everything has gone up so I better get what I pay fir! Now I get home and can't eat this awful soup. Went to the window, asked the young man to please give us 8 green salsas and some serrano chili's and NO red salsa. He repeats it and says ok you got it. We get the bag and as he hands it to me, he says he put the green salsa and the serranos in there himself. We drive off on our way. We open the bag and there's NO serranos, only 2 green salsas and two red! Really? Why lie? Then to top it off, the burritos were terrible. They literally had mainly cabbage four pieces of small chicken, no creamy cilantro dressing, a few beans, an abundance of pico de Gallo and cheese only at the bottom!
