I always come here and they're normally perfect when I order for dinner. But the last few times I came for lunch they always mess something up. My order today was completely wrong and I was even charged extra. I hate to be that person that asks for the employees to read me my order but I think I'm going to have to ask them to do it! To preface, I practice interment fasting. This being said I go 20-30 hours between meals. I don't know if it was the not eating for over 24 hours or what but when I rolled up at 9:00 pm tonight I not only experience the fastest, best service I've ever had in a drive through, but also it was so delicious. I had spent the previous hour in literal tears because out of all the stores I called, none of them had the one thing I was craving, chicken. If I could give this place no stars I would. I was there with my husband this afternoon around 2:45pm. My husband ran inside to get some take-out. As he approached the counter the gave his the rudest customer service as if they're not getting pay to do their damn job. He kept his composure but When he was walking out the manager and the cashier that were there started making gagging noises as they handed him our food and as he walked out. They are lucky I didn't go inside and cause a scene. No wonder they have no business and have a hiring sign at the front, the people they got in there are horrible and their customer service is nonexistent starting with he idiot female manager. She should be fired or disciplined for acting stupid and not setting up a good example to her cashier. read more

I love their Loco salad! And my usual order is for the crispy chicken tacos with that delicious salad and a small order of the chicken soup. I'm easily satisfied here without the guilt! From my experience, all the locations I've visited are basically the same. At this particular location, I've only ever used the drive through. My experience here has been typical. Nothing crazy special about it, but it also isn't the worst. The customer service is as expected and the wait is decent. I will say that it is pricier than other cheap fast foods, but I don't mind since I feel the quality of food is a lot healthier and more fresh. I've never received my order incorrect here and my food comes out to me hot and perfect. The chicken is seasoned perfectly and is nice and moist. The veggies as a side, salsas and salads are nice and fresh with good flavor. I sometimes forget that this place is so close to me! I will definitely continue to come here. read more

I mean, the people who work there seem very nice, and if this review was based solely on that then this place would get 5 stars on that. But, unfortunately, it's not. Has anyone eaten there recently? What is up with their chicken? It's like they starve the chicken to death and then serve you it. The chicken pieces you get are so small and definitely not worth the money you paid. If you need to charge more to serve chicken that seems like it was fed throughout its lifetime, then I will gladly pay a little more. The flavor is good but you don't get to enjoy it much because there's not much there to keep you enjoying it. Come on El Pollo Loco, you have got to do way better than that. El Polo Loco's under 500 calorie meals are great when you want a lot of food but not all the calories. The black bean is great. I love this meal because it gives you the broccoli, beans , rice and chicken. You get it all. The store in Wildomar is a new Location and is new, clean and the employees are friendly while getting your food out to you quickly. What I really do like about This Location is there manager specials. Like 2 for 1 chicken burritos. It constantly changes and it is good food for a fair price. I enjoy stopping here on my way home from work and picking up the family chicken meal. You get a lot of food and the kids love it. This specific location is one of my favorites. I work close by, so I'm here almost daily. I always order through the drive thru, and my order is always ready super fast. Their customer service is so great! Everyone is so nice there, especially Brenda. She takes my order majority of the time and is always smiling, happy, and makes conversation like she's known me for a long time. She has started to memorize my order since I'm here so often! She really is the sweetest. They always get my order right, and it always is nice, hot and fresh! I will even drive down to this specific location when my family and I eat out for a night and everyone request El Pollo Loco. Thank you for your great customer service and your yummy food! The whole staff is Rude! Food is never fresh! They serve way less than any other Pollo Loco. We ordered a quesadilla with chicken. It had 3 small pieces of chicken and the pico was soggy. Means it was old. We paid for the whole quesadilla and really got 1/2 of one. Churros were old and had absorbed all the oil, or whatever it's cooked in. I ordered two Double Chicken Avocado Salads with Iced Tea and Diet Coke. My wife cannot eat sugar. I specifically asked if the tea was brewed or sweetened/instant. While I was speaking the server cut me off and spoke over me, then began talking to someone else on her end. When she stopped talking I could hear racous laughter over the speaker--Rude and unwelcoming! When I arrived home, both salads were topped with ONE full slice of avocado. Further, "Double" today was one portion split in-half. I have ordered this salad many other times at many other EPL's. Though the servers took my order using the English language over the speaker system, the smirks and Spanish language commentary on my arrival at the pick-up window (without an interpreter), left me feeling that I was the subject of ethnocentric mockery. Dude went above and beyond to both apologize for a fairly benign wait time and just put in that little extra effort to make a bad day a little better. I wish I knew his name so I could tell him manager that he deserves a big fat raise. He was patient and understanding when it came to taking my order even though I was kind of vague. It's hit or miss...but lately this place continues to disappoint! With our busy schedules, we order online, maybe that is part of the problem? They rarely provide the salsas you ordered and usually forget your tortillas. A couple orders ago the chicken was so dry we couldn't eat it. Tonight the chicken was borderline uneatable and another situation where they didn't provide the tortillas we paid for & the salsas we requested. Since this is delivered by Door Dash they claim they can't refund us. I'm just done and will not be ordering from here again! read more

This is a picture of a two piece dinner I bought for my Mom tonight after work. I'm surprised on the poor the quality and small size of the piece of chicken. Compare it to the small salsa container to understand just how small it is to scale. What little meat was on the chicken was extremely dry and was more like jerky than flamed broiled.
