Super stinky about to riot duck. After more than 10 washes with salt still stinks the whole kitchen. It ends up in the dumpster

The ladies work there are nice. But the pictures with the price people uploaded here are outdated . It is $15 a chicken now. No longer $13. Too bad I forgot to take a picture while I was in the shop. (4 stars) Updated review from 4 stars to 1 star: Also. The woman said the duck today is on sale for $15 so I also bought a duck. But when we got home, opened the bag, the duck stinks so bad! The whole kitchen smelled like stinky fart. It like a duck that's about to riot. We washed it more than 10 times with salt and still stinks! Please, don't sell stuffs that are about to go bad. If it's about to go bad then don't list it as FRESH! Because that would be lying to your customers! I don't mind about the price increase because it's price hike everywhere, but totally stinks that I pay to get tricked and lied to and have to throw the whole duck in a dumpster.

If you're looking for fresh poultry this is the place. They have a variety of chickens and even roosters. You can by them whole or pieces by the lb. They also have duck and duck eggs, spices and a little grocery store inside. It's clean and considering the slaughter chickens it smells really fresh. The day I was here the staff wasn't all that friendly or helpful (I asked a few questions about different species of chicken they had posted and got a quick "they're all the same price") but the product they sell is really what I'm after so I didn't let that affect my review too much. The chickens are fresh and you can tell the difference from store bought. I'm not much of a cook and definitely no expert and even I can taste the difference. Price per whole chicken is $16.50. I went this morning to purchase eggs I noticed that the time that they open changed since October 1st they now open at 9, and we'll I saw the sign, the problem was when they opened the door there was 2 ladies working and there was a big line since we all thought it open at 8 there was one lady really nice by the way helping the customers while the other lady her name is Eloisa was taking her time breaking down boxes, while her coworker was trying to work as fast as she could to get the people out with there orders,Eloisa came outside to put some products out when the door locked to go back in and she started knocking really loud and making a scene a customer said she is busy helping us, When then Eloisa responded really rude to the customers can't you see I'm trying to take the other stuff out and instead of helping she went inside and tried to start arguing with the lady that was helping us. Eloisa is rude and disrespectful not only to us paying customers but to her coworker!

    The best fresh poultry!!!

The market is easy to spot with a big street sign out front. There are only two parking spots in front, one is a handicapped space. There's plenty of parking around the back though. When you walk in, you will see the main market with lots of items and brands I've never seen before. Slightly to the right is their deli counter with lots of meats, cheeses, and other miscellaneous items. To the right of the entrance is a dining area, and another counter where you can order sandwiches, empanadas, pizza, French fries, and drinks. I was laser focused on getting the chimichurri and leaving since I was short on time. It is in plastic bottles in plain view on on top of the deli counter. I purchased the regular variety, but they also have a spicy version. I could already tell this was going to be way better than the other two sauces I tried. I've had it on a steak, and on my breakfast scrambled eggs, and it's in a whole different league from the grocery versions I tried. It looks just like a restaurant chimichurri, oil based with lots of herbs and spices. I just had a nice filet mignon with chimichurri at a good Argentinan restaurant last week, and this chimichurri is about 90% as good. I moved it from the plastic bottle it comes in to a glass jar which will hopefully help preserve it longer, and store it in the refrigerator. I now have no reason to look elsewhere for chimichurri. My friend visits here periodically and says the sandwiches are excellent. I'll have to return again to try one, get more chimichurri, and explore the market and deli to see what other goodies they have.

It did not make for an appetizing meal, and I was very disappointed in the quality of the meat that was marked and listed for sale at $13.99/lb "Prime" Picanha. It's not the fact that I chose incorrectly, it's the fact that this meat was offered for sale in the first place to their customers. After coming here several times and spending hundreds of dollars, I will not be coming back here again.
