White nurnberg sausage was my favorite it's the one I would eat at Oktoberfest. Cheddar pork was my least favorite barely any cheese and more spicy like an andouille. Still all of them were delicious. Ruby held the door open for me. She was professional. It reminded of what I might have seen in Chicago. I wish I could go on a tour. Smells clean. read more

Went here today to pick up a few packs from the sales freezer and had a wonderful experience. Located behind Big's, you drive around to the back and open the door labeled office. A bit of confusion when you open and it seems like you've opened a door to the packing plant, but go through the plastic slats (following another sign that says office) and the fridge is right there. The woman in the office who helped me pay for the sausages was very kind. They also had a lot in stock. I'll definitely be back! read more

Where do I start. I have liked every sausage that I have bought from here. I only ate Nathan hotdogs before. Then I Tried their beef hotdogs so much more flavor than store bought Nathan hotdogs. I have turned on friends and family to this place and everybody loves it. I love the fact that there's a local sausage factory around the corner from my house! These sausages are so much better than what you can buy at the grocery, or even at most butchers. They have a nice variety, although you can't always expect that they'll have the particular variety you want, but if that's the case it's not a problem because you'll most likely discover some other variety you'll enjoy. (Where else can you buy kangaroo or bison sausages?) It is a factory, so the shopping experience isn't like going to a regular store. You park in the back by a loading dock, walk up a few steps and into a storage room that has those heavy plastic strips dangling from the ceiling which separates the storage from the main office. In there is a refrigerator case where you can select the sausages you want. So that aspect of purchasing sausages is unusual, but completely understandable if you realize that their primary business is making sausages for many restaurants and vendors in Orange County. The lady who works in the office (Ruby) is very helpful in explaining the types of sausages they have, so if you have any questions about them she's happy to help. All in all, if you like to grill sausages, this is a great place to get the real thing! read more

I discovered this sausage manufacturer while at Big's Bar and Grill for lunch one day, It is the back half of the building. It is legit a meat packing plant, forklifts and commercial trucking all surrounding the door. Being a bit nosey, I went in. Turns out they have a freezer in the front where you can buy one pound packages... I got what I thought was a hot dog-actually it was a skinny knackwurst (who knew?), some chicken sausage, a portuguese sausage and a bison/ wild boar sausage for the 4th. My family loved them! It was quite a feast. Perfect for my independence day bbq. I will definitely be back for my next barbeque. read more

Masterlink Sausage Company is located all the way to the back of the building with the Big's Bar & Grill sign out front. It's not your typical store. Enter and approach through the main office door, passing the plastic flaps. From there, the first person in your field of view should be Ruby. She is very kind and helpful. Everyone was actually very nice when I stopped by to purchase a pack of Wild Boar/Bison/Pork Bratwurst and Spicy Chicken Cajun Sausage. These two sausages were delicious and a hit back at the office. It's been a while but wife still says it's the best sausages she's tasted. They have a big selection of sausages but only while it lasts, so sometimes your options will be limited. They have exotic sausages you don't normally see anywhere else too. I give it two thumbs up. It's so good, a neighboring restaurant serves one of their sausages on the menu, and it's delicious. If you like sausages, you gotta give this place a shot. Tough to locate as it's hidden behind the shopping strip but once you are there, the people are friendly and sausages are awesome. read more

I was going to a bday and knew they'd have a grill going so I decided I'd bring a few bratwursts. I arrived on a Friday about 3pm and was a bit confused as to where to walk in and was even questioning if it was open to the public. After parking I saw a flag near a door and I probably looked confused because a guy inside yelled 'it should be open'; the door was locked but they unlocked it lol. Anyways I walked in expecting to see a selection kind of like when you go to the meat department at the store, but this was not the case. There was a room with an office to the right and they told me their available options were inside a freezer to the left, the size of a regular refrigerator. I told them I was looking for something spicy and preferred chicken or beef and they recommended a spicy chicken sausage, plus I went with one of the bratwurst because even though it was pork, it looked tempting. They suggested in the future if I wanted something specific I could call and they could put an order together for me. The sausages and bratwurst were really good after being grilled! We weren't sure how long to grill them for because they were frozen but we cooked them until they looked well done. I was sorry I didn't bring more!
