Awesome pork chops, yellow rice, and habichuelas! Place was very clean, and staff was helpful and professional.

Best Roast Pork sandwich. The pork melted in my mouth! Awesome job! Can't wait to go back and try something else!

Every bite tasted homemade and authentic. Definitely one of the best mofongo dishes I've had. The portion size was generous, and the sauce tied everything together perfectly without overpowering the dish. You can tell real care went into the preparation and presentation. I'd absolutely come back for this again and recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Puerto Rican food.

Vibe was off as soon as we walked in but decided to give it a go anyway. Btw around 6pm on a Friday. Only one server who seemed new and was doing everything by herself. We then decided to order and the first she said was "oh we are out of this and we are out of that." Flag! Not busy at all as a matter of fact only a couple of people inside and 2 at the bar. Then when I ordered pollo guisado she said "oh I'm sorry we are out of that too.." I said ok bistec then and my brother ordered the same with the rice n beans and a side order of tostones.. everything was bland rice, beans, and especially the bistec. No flavor whatsoever. And the Bistec although bland tasted like it was old and had a weird taste to it. My brother agreed. Simply horrible! The only 2 things that were good was the tostones and the parcha juice! That was it definitely NOT worth the money at all. If you go again expecting how it used to be well prepare to be disappointed to say the least. You will see. Sad.

There is a small bodega/store inside. The owner is super nice. He took my order quick and made sure to separate my stuff so I can tell the difference. I ordered the small ox tail with rice and gandules and mac and cheese, large pork chops with rice and gandules and potato salad, beef empanadas, and cheese and beef empanadas. The food was delicious and truly worth the wait. I can't wait to try their other options out.

The important thing here is absolutely fantastic food from T-Mak. There are quite a few good Puerto Rican restaurants in the area. T-Mak brings something new to the table: a Pan-African, West Indian twist to really make things delicious and interesting. For my meal, I got very spicy curry chicken (West Indian), rice and gandules (Puerto Rican), and collared greens with a side of sweet yams (Pan-African). It was all delicious and complemented each other perfectly. The final bonus is price: for a little over twenty dollars, including a tip, I got a full lunch and had enough left over for most of a full dinner. Nice. Give T-Mak's a try.

They go down way too easily. Do yourself a favor and order the pistachio martini -- dangerously smooth and totally worth it. The restaurant itself is super easy to get to -- it's right in a shopping strip near I‑95, and there's plenty of parking, which is always a relief. Inside, the vibe is simple elegance. You've got options: table seating, counter seating, and a full bar if you're in a cocktail mood. We couldn't decide on just one thing, so we went all‑in on appetizers: * Tuna Tartar - super fresh and flavorful * Calamari Ecuadorian Style - tender with a sauce that was different in the best way * Trio Empanadas - the Colombian beef and Ecuadorian chicken were my favorites; the plantain & cheese one wasn't really my thing * Chickpea Salad - the dressing deserves its own award And shoutout to Fausto, our server. He was knowledgeable, charming, and on top of everything without hovering. Just really solid service all around. Already thinking about what I'm trying next time.
