To begin, we were pleasantly surprised that our table for 10 was ready as soon as we arrived, expecting to wait a bit for such a large party. Once we were seated, our server Oliver immediately came over to explain the tapas menu and get our drink orders. Tapas are priced $7-$20 à la carte, or you can order different tasting menu tiers based on what your group is hungry for. We ordered the $35 tasting menu (tapas only) and it was more than enough food! We tried the whipped sheep cheese, flank steak, garlic mushrooms, shrimp, patatas bravas, salmon, and more! We also ordered a pitcher of red sangria for the table that was delicious. The incredible food and the attentive service made Barcelona the perfect meal for a group of old friends to catch up. After visiting Barcelona, your wallet might not be happy, but your heart sure will!

What really made the evening special, though, was the outstanding service. Our waiter was incredibly welcoming and attentive, and when he learned we were celebrating two birthdays, he surprised us with some sangria to help us celebrate. That small gesture made an already wonderful meal feel even more memorable. Between the delicious food, warm hospitality, and celebratory atmosphere, this was easily one of our favorite experiences in Nashville. We will absolutely be back anytime we're in town!

A friend who knows this spot well reserved a table for 2 on a Thursday night and I felt welcomed from the moment I arrived. Each dish is thoughtfully presented with fresh table settings between courses. The menu descriptions depict the basic concept of a dish, but there are always surprises in the flavor combinations, textures, or unique preparation of otherwise common ingredients that keep you guessing from first sip to last bite. I ordered the cold brew tonic mocktail which was perfectly balanced with a tonic forward bold yet smooth flavor. The beet is presented in a spiral of ribbons and tastes mildly spicy from the habanero. The endive was one of my favorite dishes of the night. The onions and creamy foam join the crunchy endive to form the perfect bite. The scallop was tender, sweet, floral, and never ending due to its enormous size! The chewy rice cakes and broth were the comfort food I didn't know I needed The octopus was oh-so-crispy and served with an addicting sauce. The marzipan donut was delightfully chewy, salty, and sweet while the salted raspberry was tart but balanced by the white chocolate cream and sugary flakes of crispy nori. Ordering both desserts was not a mistake and I will probably repeat this decision when I inevitably come back! I was told the sauce served with the octopus has recently changed. I can't wait to see what else the chef has up his sleeve on future iterations of this ever evolving menu.

If you split everything, you are overfilling yourself. Especially good are the Spanish Tortilla, Endive, Ibérico Solomillo, and the White Chocolate desert. There is a full bar, and an eclectic Continental wine list. Service is excellent, almost full service, even at the bar.

We got the happy hour red which was a tempranillo, which was very tasty. For the Tapas we got patatas bravas, pulpo, broccolini, and pork belly. The patatas bravas is a must have! Its packed with flavor and were cooked to perfection. Definitely was not expecting to get such a well prepared pulpo dish in Nashville. Highly recommend. The broccolini also amazing. The only one that fell kind of short was the pork belly. It was way to fatty even for pork belly Will definitely be back if I'm ever back in Nashville

The space is actually really big and we saw people going up to a second floor as well. Our server the whole night was amazing! She was very friendly and open to answering any questions. We wanted to try wine before committing to a glass and she was happy to let us do it. They recommend 2-3 tapas per person which felt about right. We made it right at the end of their happy hour and was able to get $6 glasses of a tempranillo that was tasty. We got the patatas bravas, the broccolini, the pulpo and the pork belly. Everything really was delicious. Patatas bravas - crispy but light and their red sauce was soooo good. Perfectly spiced. Broccolini - the char on this was amazing. It had a really good depth of flavor for being a veggie dish. The pepper shallot relish on top was also a nice highlight. Pulpo - we got this on the recommendation of our server. We were nervous about it being tough but this was probably the most tender octopus I've had and we love octopus. The green sauce underneath was really tasty too. Pork belly - this one was a bit too fatty for me but that is probably more personal preference. The meatier pieces were delicious though and the romesco sauce with the peaches was a good balance to the richness of the dish. Note: on the receipt you can scan a QR code to pay the bill but be aware that they charge an extra $1.50 service charge to do so! That was an unpleasant surprise at the end of our meal.

You get a little nervous going to a new one in a differet city Nashville did not disappoint. The staff was awesome. As in NYC we sat at the kitchen counter. It you're a foodie what take away from sitting there is how fresh everything is made. Ashley watched every plate coming out of the kitchen- as did Marcus, im a chef and restaurant owner this is a pro move. And the food showed it. This is not fine dining- great service and food. Maleya was great. She would be a great trainer for new staff. Nate stopped by and welcomed us. Every staff member Nashville and NYC are longtime employees that we met, and all like working there. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the food had potential, but the overall experience wasnot great. Food-We started with the bacon-wrapped dates, which were delicious with a nice balance of salty, savory, and sweet. The potatoes were also really good--crispy and served with a flavorful aioli. The ham croquettes were decent, but a little heavy, and I wish they had more meat. Service & Wait Time The biggest issue was the long wait for the vegetable paella. We waited about 45 minutes, and by the time it arrived, I was too hungry to even take a picture. I also wish the food had come out closer together instead of having such a long gap between dishes. To their credit, the paella was comped because of the wait. Also as big as the restaurant they put a group of 8 people where there are boots for couples which made it impossible to hear my partner. Cleanliness/cockroach Unfortunately, we also saw a cockroach during our visit, which made it difficult to feel comfortable and fully enjoy the meal. It was crawling by the seat on the bench. Parking Tip-If you visit, make sure to ask about the 2-hour parking validation before you leave. Since the paella took so long, the timing felt tight with the validation window. Final Thoughts-While there were a few dishes we enjoyed, the long wait and cleanliness concern really affected the overall experience. I'm not sure I would recommend this restaurant or comeback.

I got the chicharron pupusas, which is done the El Salvadorian way- it's like shreds of pork meat, not fried pork skin. Easily one of the top pupusas, curtido (cabbage salad) and salsa I've had, and I've eaten them almost all my life in Los Angeles. The asada taco was filled to the brim w crisped up meat and their homemade tortillas were incredible. My husband had the Chile Rellenos and couldn't stop talking about it... not just how good those were but even their rice and beans! So much flavor! It seems like a lil family restaurant, it's clean and they were super friendly. Sometimes they even do menudo- but you'll have to call before the weekend to check. Yall, it's been tough finding food like this in TN. I am so so happy!

My hubby asked me what I wanted to eat and I told him I was craving for Sopa de Res so he searched for just that and this restaurant was one of the few that popped. He chose this restaurant because he reviewed the menu, he recognized a lot of the menu selections and he knew it had to be Guatemala cuisine. We are from Guatemala so it was a Bonus for us. The following is what we ordered; Sopa de Res-3 piezas de carne de res con vegetales, papas, elote y repollo con tortillas hechas a mano (Beef soup w/vegetables, corn, cabbage, served with homemade tortillas) Carne asada - con ensalada fría de coditos, longaniza, frijoles, jalapeños, cebollines, y tortillas hechas a mano (Grilled steak, spring onions w/macaroni salad, mashed black beans, grilled sausage and jalapeños) I have to say that we felt we were in Guatemala. The home cooking feeling was heartwarming. The food is so delicious. We were not disappointed. I highly recommend this restaurant. The service of the waiter, a young man, son of the owners, was excellent. He kept checking on us to see if we needed anything else or how we were. I honestly didn't want to leave. I was so content. We stayed a while and left a half hour before they closed. I wish they were closer to us. Thank you Emanuel Restaurant for your great cooking and excellent service.
