This place is FUN. In fact, if you were curious, yes it is just as fun as they make it look online. I went on a Friday during one of their shows and it was quite the time. The dancing robot and dancing guy on stilts certainly made dinner memorable. The soft serve margaritas are not advertised on the bar menu but they are available and while they did not have the lime flavor that was on their instagram, the strawberry was lovely. I did see a few drinks come out that weren't on the menu so there must be some kind of secret menu for sure. Food wise, my table had the Hawaiian fajitas which were delicious. Definitely spottable between two people. I got the taco quesa barrio. They were okay, nothing memorable and a bit of a funny taste. I wouldn't get them again. However, I don't think this is a the mark of a bad place. This is just something I would not get again. The service was good for the most part. I could tell our server was busy but we did have quite the lull where we didn't have water, didn't have tortillas that came with the fajitas and couldn't order another cocktail if we wanted. 3.5 This place is not bad at all! It's got a funky, almost neon laser tag vibe to it. And the menu is absolutely insane, like the Mexican Cheesecake Factory. Sushi, tacos, calamari, burgers, wings, burritos, they have literally everything, plus a crazy amount of drinks to choose from. If you order the margarita tower, they bring it out with sparklers and the whole show, which is a lot of fun. The food itself is nothing special, just your average Mexican cuisine, but still good. Our favorite local Mexican spot! Such a great deal for the amount/quality of food you get. Restaurant has fun environment and even serves pitchers with a sparkler. Service can be a hit or miss but they are typically busy. The margarita lime chicken is a family favorite and we have ordered it several times. We will be back! read more

This place is such a hidden gem! Me and my friends came here for lunch cause we heard they had the famous soft serve margaritas! And let me tell you they were so delicious and out of this world! The ambience is very nice and chill and quiet. Their food was also so delicious I had the street tacos which were very flavor everything was honestly also so decently priced. Update: I came another time to order the Del Mar Trio, which was quite disappointing. It comes with "lobster sensation", tilapia, and shrimp, but the lobster didn't taste real. It had a fatty texture that was unlike real lobster and tasted like imitation crab. For $18.99, I wish I knew that "lobster sensation" was another way of saying imitation lobster. We have come here for years. It appears to be under new ownership with a new menu that includes sushi and ramen. Our food was dreadful. Everything has changed. There was a weird spice blend and sauce on my chicken fajitas that was not good. The beans were dayglo burnt orange and inedible. It was just dreadful. First, the Service was great! I ordered the Enchiladas with La Bamba sauce (queso) and my wife ordered the Margarita Lime Chicken. The enchilada sauce was amazing and Margarita Lime chicken was seasoned perfectly and topped with pico which was excellent. Overall, it was an excellent restaurant and very comparable if not better than those in California. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Nashville. Did I mention I ordered 3 margaritas? My family and I dined here on Sunday and the food wasn't great. The guacamole was not fresh the color seemed off. I had the APC with shrimp added and it was bland. Visiting Nashville this weekend for a wedding, and last night was our first official meal out. We found a hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant called Tequila's. Entering in, it was not very busy, and it looks like a standard Mexican restaurant. There were 7 of us, but they initially only brought us 2 things of chips with two salsas. We needed at least 2 more because 7 of us aren't splitting 2 salsas. The chips and salsas were decent, nothing spectacular. I ordered a veggie burrito without mushrooms and sour cream and got queso on top instead of salsa. The vegetables were very well seasoned, and the queso on top was nice! The rice and black beans inside was pleasant. The service was not the best--it felt like some things were meant for us to do ourselves. This was a full-service restaurant, so I expect them to at least give us a soda/drink inside the cup to go or hand our checks to all of us instead of making us do it ourselves. On a better note, this place is pretty cheap. You can find decent Mexican food for a good price. Overall, I would say check this out if you're curious. I bet there are much better Mexican restaurants in Nashville. read more

We just moved across the street and I was hoping this would be our regular hangout spot after the first dining experience. Unfortunately, we've been there three times so far, and the experience is declining exponentially each time. The first time was a charming waiter and good food. I was so excited to start coming here regularly. Within three days I came and dined again, the server this time was rather grumpy. Our orders were missing items across-the-board. Kids quesadilla with beans and rice came out without the quesadilla. My fajitas came out without the wraps or sides. And the appetizers we ordered came without salt. This was a Wednesday. We had spoken to the waiter several times throughout the evening about the missing items, and they were not brought until we were pretty much done eating everything else. It's been a few weeks since we've been back. I remembered the desserts from the first time being amazing. Churros Mexicans $8.99 -- 4 churros with a massive amount of ice cream in the middle, a pound of whipped cream, all around the plate, overloaded with sprinkles and chocolate drizzle. Definitely not a one person dish. I wanted to pick up an order of churros to take home since the ice cream and whip cream, etc. will not travel well in the car. I called to place an order of two churros, and the server said no problem, 10 minutes. We get there.... ‼the cashier girl rings me up for 2 churros at $20.99‼ I ask her how can this be when the entire dish loaded and all is only $8.99. The original guy who took my order came by, doesn't say anything to me, and goes back to the kitchen. Meanwhile, I'm still asking how can two churros $20.99 when 4 churros in a loaded dish is only $8.99. I would expect a normal price adjustment to $4.99. That's not what happens. The guy comes out with another box of churros and tells me I have to take all of them because they may double and he's only going to charge me $14.99. During this entire transaction, there was not one hint of customer, service or customer experience in mind. I was very much looking forward to this being a regular spot for us, but the service is exponentially nose diving. The entire time I was trying to get pricing for churros -- it took about 20 minutes to walk out the door. The churros were cold, of course -- a gentleman was trying to get cheese dip that was missing from his order fulfilled. He was having a situation with the other cashier where she insisted on charging him for the cheese dip that was missing from his dish. The service across the board is dismal. I don't like riding bad reviews but I had to create a Yelp account just to write this review. This is absolutely disappointing and if they want to stay in business, they need to change their service standard. read more

We decided to try this restaurant on a whim. We walked in, were seated right away to a booth, which we always prefer. The restaurant was very clean and organized, which seems to be rare in Nashville (smh). The menu was straightforward and the food came out very quickly.
