This place is SOO SOO good. If you're wanting seafood in the area in a casual setting, this place…read moreis it. We tried a variety of things including two types of oysters, but I have to say this is my favorite fish and chips in the area. For the cost you get SO much (3 large pieces) of fish, fries and a few hush puppies. And it was nice and fluffy, so so good. Definitely my new favorite go-to place in Frisco for seafood. I feel this place doesn't get enough love! Look forward to going back!

Stopped into Anaya's Seafood Scratch Kitchen in Frisco on a Tuesday around 2. It was pretty quiet…read morewith only a few people there. We started with half a dozen raw oysters and they were fresh and delicious! We also ordered a dozen grilled oysters. They were okay, but nothing spectacular and probably not something we would order again. Hubby ordered the fish special that was on the board that day. I can't remember exactly which fish it was, but he said it was just okay. I ordered the snow crab with Cajun butter and unfortunately this was the biggest disappointment. The crab meat was extremely mushy and the texture was just not good at all. I tried several different legs from the cluster just to make sure it wasn't only one bad piece, but they were all the same, so I couldn't finish it. The corn that came with it also tasted old and had a strange sour taste, so I didn't eat that either. The Dragon Fruit Pineapple Mojito, however, was DELICIOUS! Definitely one of the highlights of the meal and I would absolutely order that again. One thing that was a little strange was the timing. Considering how slow it was when we were there, the food seemed to take a little longer than expected to come out, and my drinks took even longer. Overall, it was a mixed experience for us. The raw oysters and mojito were great, the grilled oysters and fish special were just okay, and unfortunately the snow crab entrée was a definite miss. I'm willing to give Anaya's another try and order something completely different if we happen to be in the area, but based on this visit, I wouldn't make a special trip back just to eat here.

I'm going again tonight to try the fried shrimp. Hopefully it will be USA Gulf shrimp, not the chinese, farm raised shrimp which has NO flavor compared to true Gulf shrimp. Stay tuned. Our first visit to Bebo's in Pilot Point felt less like lunch and more like a dirty scavenger hunt…read more The restaurant is packed with memorabilia, dollar bills taped everywhere, Elvis collectibles, old telephones, vintage car photos, a Christmas tree, and enough random décor to keep your eyes busy while waiting for your food. What may be intended as vintage charm felt more like an episode of flea market finds covered in years of dust. The menus. Everyone at our table received a different version, complete with conflicting prices, different hours, and spelling errors, including "SHRIP." Maybe they spin a wheel in the back to determine the price you pay? We asked for recommendations, everything is equal was the response. Service was nonexistent after she dropped the food on the table, drink refills were missed, and she asked twice if we wanted onions on the dish or on the side, we replied on the dish but they arrived on the side. The food tasted like bagged, frozen foods introduced to fryer oil that had already lived a full life. If you're looking for greasy, fried comfort food, you may enjoy it. If you're looking for fresh ingredients and quality home cooking, you may want to choose any other restaurant. The most memorable part of the experience came at checkout. The payment screen offered a 20%, 25%, or 30% tips option, with 25% already pre selected which could not be changed by the customer. The custom tip option was reportedly broken, as was the no tip option. When I explained I couldn't change it, she asked, "What do you want to change it to, no tip?" Nothing says hospitality quite like turning gratuity into a hostage negotiation. ‍ Finally, I visited the ladies' room before leaving. It is in desperate need of a deep cleaning, sticky grease laden doors, sticky soap dispenser, and no toilet paper in my stall, thank goodness I brought a friend that could bring TP from her stall. Between the confusing menus, inattentive service, lack of cleanliness, forgettable food, and the expectation of a 25% tip for pathetic service, even McDonald's is a better choice.

The burger-Crabby Cow-was a juicy burger topped with pepper jack cheese and a crab cake, fresh tomato slices and shredded lettuce-all topped with. House remoulade sauce and a hush puppy bun garnish. Very tasty and huge. The bun had no problem handling it. My husband had the same-bunless and with grilled zucchini. The zucchini was nicely grilled. Serve yourself fountain drinks and iced tea. Full bat and bottled drinks. Happy hour drink specials. Summary Convenient location, large parking lot, fun atmosphere, great menu, friendly service. Love this place! We ordered the lobster chowder and the crab leg pot, and both were absolutely delicious. Even though the place was busy, our food came out pretty quickly, which was impressive. After finishing, we realized our crab pot didn't include the usual corn and potatoes, which was a bit of a bummer. Still, everything tasted great overall. I also liked that you can make your own drinks and grab extra items yourself--it's a nice touch. Honestly, everything I saw coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. I'm already looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes!
