Service is great, we were greated & seated as soon as we walked in. Servers were friendly, funny, and very attentive. The food was so delicious. I had the Chilaquiles half ted half green with an add on if chorizo, chefs kiss. The portion sizes are big so come hungry. Will definitely xome back.

The Birria tacos are for real. The horchata is great, awesome service and terrific taste in everything. Lots of outside tables and private booths inside.

Very unpleasant customer service...1st time me my kids and grandkids went for my birthday. We where hungry and ask to be seated! They told us 15 minutes of waiting time.We where there for almost 40 minutes other people where being seated except Us,No one even followed up on my family. grandkids where getting hungry and tired. We just decided to go elsewhere. Not going there or want to try it again. Rude waiters.

The servers were very nice and helpful, the food came out very fast and was delicious! Everything went wonderful. They are very kind, (Jorge is the best, and so is Maureen)! Thank you both for your amazing service. My son is the one who wanted me to make sure we left this review, he enjoyed the food and service also.

Still am amazing place. Food and service has always been consistent. We try to go at least once or twice a month. We will continue to go there!

Grilled fish tacos and chicken quesadilla. The chips, salsa and refried beans came when we sat down!

We stopped in because it was close to our venue, and honestly, I'm blown away. The staff is so attentive and genuinely sweet, the atmosphere is welcoming, and then the food... wow. The presentation and seasoning were absolutely out of this world -- way beyond what you'd ever expect, especially at these prices. Speaking of prices, they are mind-bogglingly low. I kept double-checking the menu because it felt too good to be true for the quality and care that went into every dish. To top it off, Mexican food has always been at the very bottom of my food palate preference, and yet this restaurant completely won me over. There are so many choices, and everything tastes incredible -- I'm already planning when to come back. This spot is a gem that deserves a HUGE hype. Delicious food, unbeatable value, and the kindest service -- 10/10, highly recommend!

Great food and service at a reasonable price. Easily the best restaurant on the east end.

GETTING HERE:…read more Located in DTVTA on Main Street, between E.P. Foster Library and Starbucks. Parking is, well, if you know you know. :( REVIEW: This is a great little restaurant and I prioritize coming here every time I am in DTVTA. Recently, I was at the Rubicon Theatre and needed lunch after a show. This location is located within walking distance of the Rubicon and is usually so busy each time I come! My marker of a good place to eat is usually on how busy they are. :) This recent visit I had a torta (my first, didn't catch the name) and it was outstanding! The meat was fresh and hot and the bun was flavorful! I did note that on my next visit here I want to try the Hawaiian (?) torta! Can't wait to be back! The service is always great each time. Thank you to the ladies who are friendly and respectful and greeted us (and all the customers) with a smile. Thank you so much! Definitely recommend!

I've eaten at 3 of their locations, and perhaps this location may be slightly more geared to 'gringo' tastes. I had their breakfast burrito, and unlike most other tacquerias, they give you a lot of nice melted cheese. The beans didn't taste as salty or flavorful as some other taco places. But overall, very satisfying, just didn't have that fully tacqueria taste. I have really enjoyed their veggie Papas and rajas tacos at the Avenue location. This may be the best tacqueria for vegetarians, more options. Staff here tends to be younger (college ages), and generally very friendly. I actually sometimes just stop in for their Horchata. It's not homemade (as that is a very difficult drink to make!) but I find it satisfying. In general all the prices here are reasonable, less than some other places that are charging 15-17 for burritos. This is a strong recommendation if you are downtown and craving casual Mexican eats!

It is great for any special occasion and offers inside and outside dining. I suggested this restaurant to my out of town guests to celebrate my dear friend's birthday. Rumfish did not disappoint. The Spring weather is beautiful in Ventura so we sat outside. Service is prompt and casual. It was crowded even on a Thursday evening, but the outdoor area is spacious. Everything from appetizers to dessert is fresh and first class. Seafood options are plentiful and seasoned perfectly. The only downside is that parking is limited - only one handicapped spot for two busy restaurants. No parking signs prevent street parking up Palm.

Rumfish y Vino for Mother's Day…read more We made a reservation a week before and only had to wait about 10 minutes past our time, which honestly was not bad for such a busy day. The restaurant has a really cute Mediterranean/Italian vibe with gorgeous lemon trees and comfy patio seating. It was chilly outside, but the heaters made it comfortable. Staff was friendly, just very busy because of the holiday. Food took around an hour, but understandable for Mother's Day. The food was excellent. I got the flatbread with apricot jam and bacon, and it was such a good mix of sweet and savory with fresh arugula on top. Definitely recommend it. My boyfriend got the wagyu burger medium with fries and everything was cooked perfectly and served hot. Other people at our table got shrimp and corn, fish tacos, and burgers, and everything looked really good. Great place, will come back

Let's talk about the drinks. The Lemon Drop with Vodka was an amazing choice. The Old Fashioned was good too, but it was a bit too strong for my taste. The Horchata was decent, but I've had better. Now, let's talk about the food. The Mulita is the star of the show! I personally loved their Asada Mulita. It was rich and full of flavor. On weekends, you can also order Off Cuts like Tripa, Cabeza, and Lengua. My wife raved about the Cabeza Mulita, saying it was amazing! We also tried three types of tacos: Pastor, Asada, and Apollo. All three were delicious, but here's how I ranked them in order of taste: 1) Asada - Amazing tender flavor 2) Chicken - Very tender 3) Pastor - I'm a huge pastor fan, but while delicious, the other two tacos beat it to third place. By the way, my wife and daughter were raving about their grilled fish tacos. They believe these are the best tacos on the menu because of their amazing flavor. The fresh salsas are also very delicious. They're all great, so try them all with your tacos. And the knockout punch comes when you try their Elote (grilled corn on the cob). This is an OMG off the charts FULL of FLAVOR treat. I highly recommend having at least one as part of your meal. You won't be disappointed.
