The first bar we tried didn't work out (long story) and my husband mentioned having seen an interesting bar next to Pisco y Nazca where we had been a few times. So off we went. It was around 9:00 pm, and there was only like one other couple there. My understanding is it's more of a club vibe later so that's prob why. It is all outdoors with a bar across the back. It looked nice and was decorated for Christmas. We chose to stand at the bar instead of sitting at a table which seemed to have service. We ended up ordering a cocktail each (amaretto sour and mojito). There weren't any prices on the menu (except for the specialty cocktails which they were out of). Our total for the two drinks came to $42! So I paused and asked if the tip had already been added, and the bartender sort of mumbled something about "no", so I asked if the drinks were actually $20 each. (I mean, we're in Kendall, not South Beach!) So then he showed me the receipt that showed the drinks were $16.50 each and an auto grat of 20%+ had already been added. I did not add an additional tip on top of that. But the experience was in line with some of what I read here (afterwards) of them being a little scammy financially. I'd give it 1 star but the drinks were fine and I could see the vibe being fun once more people showed up.

People were dancing, drinking and having a good time. A full range of music from NIN, Nirvana, Mariah Carey, Shakira, etc was heard all evening! You could put requests in and it was honestly a really fun night! They keep the bar clean, always removing empty glasses, napkins and constantly moving to clear the bar and small tables. They have a water station at the end of the bar and really make sure it's always full.
