The first bar we tried didn't work out (long story) and my husband mentioned having seen an interesting bar next to Pisco y Nazca where we had been a few times. So off we went. It was around 9:00 pm, and there was only like one other couple there. My understanding is it's more of a club vibe later so that's prob why. It is all outdoors with a bar across the back. It looked nice and was decorated for Christmas. We chose to stand at the bar instead of sitting at a table which seemed to have service. We ended up ordering a cocktail each (amaretto sour and mojito). There weren't any prices on the menu (except for the specialty cocktails which they were out of). Our total for the two drinks came to $42! So I paused and asked if the tip had already been added, and the bartender sort of mumbled something about "no", so I asked if the drinks were actually $20 each. (I mean, we're in Kendall, not South Beach!) So then he showed me the receipt that showed the drinks were $16.50 each and an auto grat of 20%+ had already been added. I did not add an additional tip on top of that. But the experience was in line with some of what I read here (afterwards) of them being a little scammy financially. I'd give it 1 star but the drinks were fine and I could see the vibe being fun once more people showed up.

There's a bowling alley and an ice skating rink. I believe their nightclub is now closed? The bartender was super kind and helpful. Drink special cocktails were good and well priced. The other drinks were also good just a bit more expensive. The ice skating is not for everyone but definitely a fun addition if you dare to try! Definitely a fun vibe with good tunes playing. My sister was having a great time. Meanwhile, I was just trying to catch up to the plot. I wished salsa lesson was a full hour, followed by more fun salsa dancing with instructor dancing alongside (you know, cuz regular student folks won't keep dancing salsa on their own without pros' boosting presence) because afterwards everyone pretty much stopped dancing salsa after the last song after lesson ended. Then it was regular club time. Good vibe and we had fun. The wristband we got allowed free entry to the club downstairs so we could enjoy the cabaret performance and backstage live music band a bit too. Headbangers Ball!…read more Kill your Idol was one of my brief stops during the Saturday pub crawl. The bar is located towards the back, and the stage is up front. After getting their white tea aka whiskey shot, my bro and I had to make our way through essentially the mosh pit of a KISS cover band, white face paint and all. The drink is always good, but the music is not my kind of vibe.
