Customer service should be better. I placed my order at 1:58 p.m. and waited inside the restaurant for over 30 minutes. While waiting, I watched the two people making sushi talking, smiling, and having a good time -- that was fine. Then another waiter told me my food would be ready in two minutes. When I looked over at the sushi station, I saw the girl eating from someone's order and then touching the food with the same hand she had just put in her mouth. That is completely unacceptable. If you have cameras, please review the footage. I gave no attitude, yet I was treated horribly. I absolutely enjoyed my late lunch at this restaurant. I picked this place randomly because of its high rating on Google Reviews, and it did not disappoint me at all. The restaurant is big, it looks nice inside, and everything was perfectly clean. My friend and I were seated right away, around 4 p.m. By the way, there is plenty of free parking around the restaurant. Our waiter was a very sweet and friendly guy who served us quickly. All the staff seemed nice, and I also noticed that just younger people were working there. The menu is pretty big, with a large selection of different Japanese dishes. Luckily, there was a Happy Hour menu, so we decided to try rolls from that menu. We ordered the California Roll, JB Roll, and Miami Heat Roll. Every single roll was delicious! The fish in each roll was extremely fresh! The rice was cooked very nicely - it was pretty soft. Anyway, we really enjoyed the food. We both agreed that the JB Roll was our absolute favorite, so I highly recommend ordering it. For drinks, we ordered Peach Iced Tea, and it was good and very flavorful; maybe a bit too sweet, to be honest. Refills for the iced tea were free. Honestly, I don't really remember the prices on the regular menu, but the Happy Hour menu prices were very reasonable. For example, the JB Roll was just $7, which was a great deal! Plus, the portions were big. Two rolls per person were absolutely enough to feel full and satisfied. I am definitely interested in coming back to this restaurant again to try more items from the menu. I absolutely recommend this place if you're looking for Japanese food. By the way, this restaurant is a chain, and you can find it all over Miami if you don't want to travel all the way to the Sunset area, which is not very convenient. read more

I went here the other day with my daughter, we ordered a Bagel Roll, UM Roll and California Roll. The service was a little bit slow on a Monday night but our server was very nice. I would consider that the rolls themselves were OK, nothing out of this world or extraordinary about them. I personally prefer the Sushi Bar down the street that really does have amazing rolls although they're only a take-out restaurant at this point. The UM Roll had spicy mayo poured over it and I think it made the roll taste kind of bland and like it didn't stick out. It's hard to ruin the other rolls. And also the drinks were fabulous. I hight recommend the Passion Solution and the Mystique but they also have a good selection of sake and wine. What a fun hidden gem located in small strip mall. We have been to a few different locations and this one has a fun vibe. The bar is where it's at: Mia and Brian are attentive and provided us fantastic customer service. Had a few appetizers and made a few modifications that were perfectly executed. The wine list was impressive but the wine was not stored properly for the price point.. could use a proper wine storage if you want to charge on the higher end. I would highly recommend this spot for a fun night out and they also had a fun playlist going and for the guys they have a nice big projector/ flat screen that plays sports. Hadn't had sushi for a while so decided to try the local Sushi Sake- the place is cute with latin music blaring. I walked in and was literally the only customer. I was given a choice of seating but chose the bar. I was not advised it was Happy Hour nor that there were happy hour specials. I ordered sashimi & a green salad. I received no soy sauce & never saw my waiter again. The sashimi was just ok - not sliced like I prefer it. No one checked on me again until I waved down someone to ask for the bill. Tried to contact the driver to notify them of their error and did not answer our call or our text. Called Sushi Sake's customer support. They stated they could not help us and they were siding with the driver because he took a photo of location he delivered to (which proved it was not our office, smh). I joined along with 3 other friends and every course was amazing ! The tasting consisted of 5 course that brought to you one by one with a perfect cocktail to match . They block it the side of the restaurant to make you feel as if you are in your own room along with other enjoying the same ambiance. Sushi Sake is close to where I live and I have been in a few times. I will go with a 4-star rating, but it is a round-up of 3 1/2. Sushi Sake is decent but not amazing. There is a good variety on the menu and this is a plus. On all my visits I have received better than average service. Sushi Sake has a large bar that is well stocked. That big bar is a great place to eat if you are solo. I have always been in with others and there are plenty of large tables well spaced out. I am sure I will be back. Sushi sake has amazing unique rolls which different from typical sushi spots. The Miami heat roll has baked crab on top and the roll is hot which makes it sooo yummy and different because most hot rolls are fried. The service is amazing all the staff is very attentive and helpful which I bring friends to try different plates. The crowd of people is typical families and sometimes work lunches but this is definitely a spot I would go out of my way for.
