Our favorite restaurant in town!!! We love their posole and it's our go to item. We've tried other dishes and they don't disappoint. Authentic and prices are reasonable. Restaurant is always clean and customer service is 100 plus. In the evenings it does get busy and food takes a little longer to get so be patient. Had lunch with some friends and was not impressed. My friend said, "I ordered a burrito because you can't fu** that up and they did." Lol! Another friend ordered chilaquiles and got more beans than chilaquiles. She ended up ordering something else. I don't think she complained because she was scared (spitting on, not that we've heard they do, just assuming) for her next plate she ordered (so she said everything was good). My food was decent, I had shrimp (blah) and grilled chicken (a little hard) which had no flavor. I also believe the beans were from a can and the sauces as well (if not you need a new recipe)!! 3 1/2 stars. Son and I liked their old location near Costco, so we decided to try the "new" location in back of the Big 5 lot. Their salsa was very good and had a bite to it. Wife and I came here for lunch. We haven't been here in a really long time. Salsa and chips were fresh and really tasty. Lots of options on the menu and the restaurant is very clean. Worst service I've experienced in a very long time! They ask if I wanted more chips and then don't bring them for 10 minutes. We had to cancel the bean dip we ordered because they did not bring it while we were just sitting there with chips and salsa. I asked for hot sauce and they tell me something about diablito hot sauce for an extra charge. Did not tell me they had to make it. Everyone else at my table was almost done, I was hungry, couldn't keep waiting. When it did get there with one bite left, it was horrible. Tasted like their regular salsa mixed with bbq sauce. They served me a margarita in a PINT glass!! 2oz of tequila in a 16oz cup omg I was really upset about it, I wish they told me so I could order a short margarita. They wouldn't fix the issue, so I ordered another shot of tequila, it's a good business tactic to sell more alcohol, but it's just not fair to the customer. They had televisions on in the restaurant while people were trying to eat, they had like the news on. Who wants to watch the news while they are out on a date? Music would have been a much better choice than the news. I did not know who my server was, I had every single person in the restaurant at my table doing something, so I don't even know who was serving my table, and that got annoying. The food was delicious, but the service was too chaotic, the atmosphere was not very inviting, so I probably will not be back. I missed El Rosal during the pandemic and then they closed so I really looked forward to going back to their new restraunt. Wife and i had a great meal: she, the carnitas tapatia; and I, the camarones rancheros. Both meals were delicious and beautifully served. I went there for dinner this afternoon around 3:49 PM I ordered your number 29 . it came with some lettuce and bell peppers and onions as a garnish. i a little bit the bell peppers and onions, and then I realized they smell bad. i got home And i've had explosive diarrhea and it's now 6 27 pm, so i've had diarrhea for over two hours .I called and the young girl that said she's a manager just said shes sorry about that, and she had the kitchen throw the vegetables away.
