    Pupusas and plantains

Pupusas 100/10 Seasoned perfectly and flour is the perfect consistency moistness wise, so they're not dry. I recommend getting extra cheese so it comes out the pupusa and gets grilled. Very yummy. Curtido 100/10 Again, perfectly seasoned. It's Not watered down and has the perfect amount of vinegar that adds just the right kick when you eat it with the pupusas. Agua de fruta and Horchatas 100/10 Honestly, the cooks just got the right sazón all around. Plantains are always juicy and cooked right so 100/10 Overall, this whole joint is the best in Sunnyvale. Ambience is typically always busy, and filled with a homey family vibes, which makes sense as to why the food feels so whole and filling. Service is always kind and attentive. Parking is slightly limited in the back, but this restaurant is worth looking for parking on the street.

Seen this beautiful new truck at the 711 parking lot on Abbott ave Milpitas so I ordered a bean and cheese Pupusa about 5.50$ they made it to order with Sauce and salad it was really authentic and delicious I will be going back to try more items the lady taking my order said they are at this site every day

Recently ordered delivery from here since I love pupusas! I ordered 3 of them: bean and cheese, bean cheese and pork and a jalepeno cheese. They are a good size for the price. The jalapeño cheese lacked flavor, but the others were yummy. I also ordered the garlic shrimp, which came with rice when beans. The beans were good. Texture of the rice was good, but lacked flavor and the garlic shrimp was good. I wish they would give a little more shrimp given the price, but was overall a good meal.

Food: Pupusas were tasty! I got the loroco/cheese, which tasted good. I wish there were a little less cheese and more loroco but it was still really good. The crudito that comes with it is amazing and definitely stand out as top notch! It has the right amount of vinegar and some spices (not spicy hot). Pupusas price was very reasonable. We also shared the Salvadorian chicken soup. I wasn't sure what to do here but we basically put the chicken in the soup with all the sauce and limes and rice. It tasted good, and with all the sauce was definitely a little spicy but had the right amount for me. The handmade tortillas on the side were a bit thicker than I would have liked. Generally could have done without the tortillas although appreciate the homemade effort. Overall I liked the dish but it was a bit pricey at $20 but it did come with a lot of components so I can understand the price. The agua fresca (or they call it agua de fruta) was amazing! Definitely get this! The menu is pretty extensive and I think they might benefit from specializing, since I saw amazing components but it felt like they were trying to do too much and not all of it had the same bar. Service: it was good! The person who took our order did explain the soup came with a plate so that was helpful. Food came out pretty quickly. Ambiance: this definitely feels like you stepped into another country and that's great. Can't comment on whether it's authentic but I enjoyed the experience of feeling like I wasn't in the US. It's a little noisy inside, but felt surprisingly calm for being off a busy intersection. We'll definitely be back for the pupusas and agua de fruta! And perhaps I'll try some other things.

Pupusas are GREAT! Believe me. I just shouldn't have to call 22 times to order (and still no answer). Disappointed on that. Update: They reached out and explained the issue. Thank you.

Veg/vegan reviewer: oh! So worth it. Absolutely loved the fresh and flavorful vegan burrito bowl and the veggie burrito. These were so filling and tasty. It was a sumptuous lunch for less than $20, I am happy soul! I'd ordered a delivery so cannot comment on the ambiance yet but I need to eat here soon again.

Checked this place out for their pupusas a couple of times so far while walking around the neighborhood with my boyfriend and tried their jalapeno, loroco/cheese, revueltas, beef, and pork pupusas. Compared to the place I usually go to, this has a much thinner, floppier dough with a good amount of filling, especially for the cheese filled options. The curtido that comes with it needs more vinegar and oregano, but it was still refreshing with the greasiness of the pupusas. I will say that the salsa that comes with the order is amazing as are their refried beans and rice. I can definitely see this being a regular spot and I look forward to trying the rest of their menu items. Our takeout orders so far are typically 10-15 minute wait and the staff are pretty friendly.

Very solid taqueria featuring some of the best pupusas in the area…read more Today I had a pupusa revuelta (cheese, chicharrón, and beans) and another with carne asada and cheese. Both are hand-made to order with fresh masa and come out so hot you're gonna want to let them sit for a minute before digging in, if you can restrain yourself. The revuelta pupusa has a soft and flavorful filling that comes together kind of like cheesy frijoles charros. It's kind of the classic pupusa filling and I think for good reason. The smooth and well-mixed filling ensure every bite has masa, each element of the filling, and ideally a healthy pile of curtido and salsa. The asada pupusa is a little bit more of a novelty, but the asada itself is solid and I like the variety of having different feelings to work with. If this is your first time here, I recommend going with the asada. My only critique of these pupusas, which is a critique of pupusas I have in general, is that they could use a little more filling, particularly around the edges where the bites can be kind of masa heavy. Pro tips: they just got kiosks for ordering and you won't see a pupusa with asada on there as an option, but you can do so if you order at the register. By default, pupusas come with a traditional thin tomato sauce that isn't spicy, but I always ask them for the salsa they bring out when you get chips instead. It's chunkier, spicier, and slightly more acidic and I think it pairs better with the pupusas. I ask for this and plenty of curtido when I order takeout from here.

There were a lot of complaints about service but no complaints about food so we decided to try it out. Ordered 4 chicharron pupusas and one carnitas taco. Just ordered the taco because I am a deep deep lover of carnitas and I wanted to try it. Under $25. The place was packed with all Latinos ... first good sign. Lots of the complaints were about timely-ness, and I say to those people, relax. Everybody was working super hard and fast, and it is just really busy at lunch. It takes a little time to get your food, but it was absolutely worth it. these might be the best pupusas I've ever had. They brought out three salsas for us, and I was partial to the green. The pupusas were chock full of cheese and chicharron to the rims. Fried perfectly. The carnitas taco was amazing! The pork was so crispy and delicious. As to the service, ours was great. The tables were all full, but a couple of guys said we could sit at their table because they had two empty seats. Thank you! A young person with bleached hair wearing a baseball cap (sorry I should've asked your name) was really attentive. He cleaned our table and brought us ice water. I can't wait to go back! I will be getting more pupusas, and my mom wants all carnitas tacos all day.

He loves this food truck. So I knew I had to try, especially pupusas which I haven't had in years and my coworkers said these were the best in the area. And it did not disappoint because it was so good! It was $5 per pupusa and there are three styles. I had the mixta/revuelta. I kid you not I haven't had good Latin American food since high school and it knocked me back years. It came with a generous bag of curtido, which is similar to coleslaw except the sauce was lighter and the cabbage was chunkier. The pupusas themselves were large and three made me very full. I could've just ordered two. They also had a pretty large completely filled cup of salsa roja. Service was speedy and they accept credit and debit cards too. The staff are bilingual in English and Spanish. The food truck is in the parking lot of O'Malley's, an Irish themed sports bar. I would love to eat this before or after a night out. There is a tented seating area to eat on site immediately outside or if you are going to the bar you can take your food with you. The bar doesn't serve food, so this is THE FOOD, and it's GREAT food. There is also a website where you can order online and pick it up.
