this is the worse taco truck I have ate from. I came here during lunch time ordering chicken tacos and chicken burritos. I didn't hear any cooking while I was waiting for my food, because they weren't being cooked. The tacos looked good, but when my husband and I ate it, the chicken was VERY dried. It tasted like it was cooked sometime ago and now get warmed up (see pictures). Nothing like other taco trucks I ate from. Not fresh food and it's not cheap. In addition, they don't have extra stuff like grilled onion or chili and sauce put outside for people to get. I'll never give this place another chance. The best taco truck is the one in Mountain View across from Smart and Final. I'll only go there from now.

was going to drop by my beloved Taqueria Latina nearby, I saw that this new taco truck was parked up in front of the local strip mall. Tacos, burritos, quesadillas and your other standard taco truck fare. Got a suadero and lengua taco with the works. I used to lament the $1 taco and now it's the $2 taco. However for two here it's $3.75 so It;s in between the phases. Suadero was a slightly dry finish but still tasted good. The lengua was also solid. The hot sauce and grilled onions they supply is spot on. Not quite better than my beloved down the way but still a solid choice...

Pambazo! Big and super delicious for only $7. I love this place.

My favorite taco truck was missing-in-action, so I decided to try one I'd never been to before. You know what? This is definitely one of the best trucks in Sunnyvale! Super burrito with al pastor. Holy cow that was good! Lots of cilantro and onion in the burrito, the sauce with the al pastor was fantastic, the rice and beans were well-seasoned, the crema was solid, portion size was good. $8 My friend was with me and he ordered two gorditas with chicharron. I didn't get to try them because he wouldn't let me near them! So I'm gonna have to go back and try those, haha. I'm definitely coming back. Like...maybe tomorrow. EDIT: Been here a few times now and it's officially my new favorite. They also offer a few Mexican comfort foods that are hard to find, like pambazo and tostada de pata. For some reason, yelp won't allow me to post the truck's facebook page as the company website, so here it is for you! https://www.facebook.com/La-Picosita-Azteca-1656955744550434/

Best tacos in town! This taco truck is in front of the Mi Ranchito Produce off Maude Avenue in Sunnyvale, CA. No kidding their tacos are so good! I go to this taco truck at least 3x a week. Friendly service and it doesn't hurt to practice my Spanish.

    Bad Ass Looking Truck.

My wife loves the quesadilla de chicharron and I personally like all her tacos but especially the buche and carnitas which are made daily fresh.

This was my third time at Valley Goat…read more My first visit was incredible and set the bar really high. My second visit was disappointing, so I wasn't sure what to expect coming back. Thankfully, this third visit reminded me why I loved this place in the first place. This time, we basically ordered almost the entire menu, and overall the food was excellent. My favorite dish of the night was the Spicy Handroll Dip. It's the one item I look forward to every visit and I'd recommend it to anyone dining here. The Hamachi Poke with goat butter was another standout and remains one of the most unique and memorable dishes on the menu. The salmon was good, but so many of the other dishes were so creative and elevated that it ended up being overshadowed. That's more of a testament to how strong the rest of the menu is. They had unfortunately run out of the goat empanadas, so we ordered the vegetable empanadas instead. To our surprise, they were just as good. The buttery aroma coming off the puff pastry when they hit the table was absolutely mouthwatering, and the flavor lived up to the smell. One question for Valley Goat though: why was the tempura nori replaced with crackers for the Spicy Handroll Dip? The dip is still amazing, but the tempura nori chips took it to another level. The crunch and texture paired perfectly with the dip, and I'd love to see it make a comeback. The atmosphere was lively, the presentation was beautiful, and the service was excellent. A special thank you to Jake for taking such great care of us all night. He was attentive, friendly, and helped make the evening memorable. While nothing has quite topped my first visit yet, this was a fantastic meal and a huge improvement from my second visit. Looking forward to visit number four.

I eat here about 3 times a week and I'm slowly trying all the different types of meat. I love the tender shredded chicken and the Asada is OMG juicy chunks of flavorful steak! Not at all like the tough overcooked and thin meat scraps you get at other taquerias. The pork Pibil is similar to the shredded chicken in texture and wonderfully flavored as well. I got the Tortilla soup on a rainy day and it hit the spot. Making me look forward to more rainy days! The inside is decorated so cheerfully and my favorite is the little piñata planters on each table! So adorable! I ordered some delivery for my parents tonight and they were blown away by their chile Rellano and enchiladas Suizas. They absolutely loved the chips and freshly made guac too! Two more satisfied long term customers! I love that they always start my Horchata the second I walk in. It's creamy and delicious a never has that gritty texture at the bottom. Yum! So glad I was introduced to this place. It's definitely on the top of my list when I'm in the mood for Mexican food. Oh and if you like spicy ask for the orange sauce! The nice man warned me and it definitely has a kick, but if you can hang with the heat the flavor is superb!!!

We ordered chips and salsa, but when we got home it wasn't in the bag. The tacos were just okay, the grilled chicken were decent but the carne asada weren't worth it. The carne asada meat was too big and full of fat and tendon. The diablo shrimp were so hot my husband had to rinse off the sauce to continue eating them. Their rice and beans were decent, but nothing special to report. I wouldn't return. There are far too many locations in the greater San Jose area that have much better food for less.

However don't overlook how good their food is. We tried a few of their specialties and my daughter had her usual cheese quesadilla with refried beans. The server was great and very helpful. He recommended a few dishes which we ended up trying. First, the chips and salsa here are great. The chips are very crispy and seem like they're made in house. The salsas taste pretty fresh as well. I ordered the Shrimp Al Tequila. I've never seen a dish like this on a menu, so I thought I'd try it. It has a very, very warm spicy heat to it. You can taste the flavors from the tequila and the capers and olives. It's a wonderful dish, although I wish there were more shrimp on it! My wife had the Pollo. Al Xocohoqui (I know I'm misspelling that). The sauce here is rich, mild in spice, creamy and nutty. My daughter's quesadilla was actually one of the best I've ever had. The cheese blend is just really good and the tortilla is perfectly fried on both sides. The real star though is their flan. Holy moly was this incredible. It had amazing flavor and the texture was rich, almost like cheesecake. I could eat this flan every day of my life. Bravo Roberto! The real star here though

The refried beans and cheese had smooth texture, creamy but lacked flavor. The chips and salsa were good. Crispy and flavorful. The beef flautas were okay, kind of greasy. The beef was shredded, a little tough, not much flavor. Crunchy shell. Nice amount of lettuce on top to mix it all in. The tastiest combo we got out of it was loading the chips and salsa with rice and beans, and any part of our main entree. Sort of a nachos-like bite. The food overall was really mediocre. The strawberry margarita was so disappointing, very ice slushy and watered down. Not boozy. No strawberry flavor either, despite looking the part. Uneven pours for the table. Unfortunate.
