The huevos con chorizo was salty, but tasty. I couldn't finish my food because it was too salty for my taste. I also ordered a beer, which was a great complement to the meal. The service was alright and the food took a while to be served. We ate outside on the patio area and it was nice basking in the sun while we ate. Stopped in not knowing what to expect and ended up thoroughly impressed. Service was excellent from the start -- the staff was attentive and clearly knew the menu inside and out, recommending the al pastor with chili verde sauce. It was a great call: the pork was tender and flavorful, and the chili verde added the perfect amount of tang and heat without overpowering everything else. I went with a regular burrito, and it did not disappoint -- generously packed, well-balanced, and you could tell they don't skimp on quality ingredients. Portion size was great for the price, and the presentation was on point too, which you don't always get at a casual taqueria. I glanced at some of the other dishes coming out to nearby tables and everything looked just as good -- fresh, colorful, and clearly made with care. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu. We ordered -Regular Asada Taco: this was okay, but not super flavorful -Asada torta: this had too much mayo for my taste and was a little messy to eat. But, the bread was soft and it came with whole pieces of avocado. Prices were a bit high (Ex: about ~$4 for 1 taco) and there is a fee for credit card. I called ahead of time to order my food, I got there about 5 minutes after calling. Somehow the people behind me in line while I was paying and others who were walking in 10 minutes after me got their food order before me. After the 4th order, I asked and my food was just sitting on the counter. It was 2:25PM when I got my food, the ticket says it was sent and printed at 2:06PM. The cashier saw me sit down in front of her as soon as I paid. I don't know how this happened. She never called out my order number. My food was cold when I got it. Reminds me of Super Taqueria. They put a couple of large slices of avocado on top, which I love. Good pico, too. The pollo super burrito is delicious. I order it without beans. It's huge with plenty of chicken, along with rice, avocado, cheese, sour cream, and pico de gallo. Strangely, it has almost no spice (heat) to it, which I actually like. I stopped by because I was driving by and saw a large group of customers eating outside and inside this Taqueria. I decided to stop by and try a burrito for lunch. I got the regular Carne Asada burrito and it was great. The red salsa is a bit on the spicy side which I don't mind because I love spicy. The staff very courteous and fast. You have to order at the counter. There is no table service. This is a Taqueria style Place with hard seating and also outdoor picnic tables. I tried this place because people in Sunnyvale kept recommending it, big mistake. I ordered a wet burrito, but what I got was basically a bean-and-rice wrap. There was so little filling that when they rolled it up, it was just layer after layer of tortilla on tortilla. If you're going to be that skimpy, at least use a smaller tortilla so I'm not chewing through straight carbs the whole time. Total waste of a meal. First, the order was wrong, I asked for no cheese in the breakfast burrito and they only put eggs and bacon. Second, the red chilaquiles were not it at all. I asked for the hotter of the two and was told the red salsa was hotter. They were soggy, lacked flavor and my eggs were over easy and well done when I requested sunny side up. However, there was a glaring absence of greasiness and aroma of fried asada or carnitas in the air which are normal at typical taquerias. Who knows, they might have excellent ventilation. My burrito and tacos were bland, dry and almost had no flavor. Meats would have tasted much better if more grilled. The sauces were mild and not as spicy as expected. I ordered a breakfast burrito with carne asada, an al pastor super burrito, and a carne asada super quesadilla. My friends liked the breakfast burrito but it was missing the avocado even though he paid extra for it. The Super burrito was huge and she liked the flavor. I got the super quesadilla and it was okay. The meat was not as tender as I would expect. They gave us a couple of the green and red salsa, but I wish they gave more! I should've looked in the bag though to see how many they gave us so that was my mistake. The horchata was watered down but still not bad. The price was higher than other taquerias I have been too, but I knew that going into the restaurant. The portions were generous though given the price. This location is really lacking to the #3 location. The lengua had good texture and a nice bite but was flavorless. The al pastor was nothing to write home about. The marinade was the same, but the cooking technique just made the other al pastor taste better. The chile verde tasted good, but the meat was soooo chewy and dry like boiled meat unlike the other location which felt tender and slow cooked. The carnitas here were also way more dry and lacked flavor. The buche here was cooked well and had a good texture and hard sear. The service wasn't bad, but the staff at #3 were just 10x more welcoming. The #3 location is one of my favorite taco spots in the South Bay, this location doesn't cut the list. read more
