There is a reason this place is busy... more to follow.

Before you step into El Segundo you will marvel at the open courtyard location. Nestled in between several art studios, you are immediately transformed into a Mexican village. El Segundo has ample indoor and outdoor seating. Though slammed, I sat at the bar and met Connor. His beer "is so cold, your teeth will hurt." That statement is a sign on Isla Majure. The menu is awesome. Prices are great. It was tough to finish my blackened chicken burrito! Deliciosa!!! But what makes this place vibe is the young staff. They rock! And they got each other's 6. I witnessed this as Sam was pouring one of their famous margaritas. As she was close to empty with her container, Connor does a stealthy maneuver and slips in another container for her. Sam did not miss a beat because of Connor. Everyone and I mean everyone connects. It is worth your time. Enjoy the local art too.

I had El Segundo in West Palm Beach last taco Tuesday & I'm officially obsessed. Like... I'm still thinking about that Big Mac taco on a daily basis. The birria tacos were messy in the best way, super juicy and packed with flavor, and don't even get me started on the pimento cheese dip... that disappeared wayyy too fast. Also the vibe here was so chill and fun and our waiter was so helpful and nice! Everything's made to order, crazy fresh, and you can taste the love in every bite. This is the kind of place you go "just to try" and end up planning your next visit before you even leave. RUN to @elsegundowpb ASAP! You surely won't be disappointed. Not to mention on Tuesday's they have $3 tacos & $5 margs!

We came for lunch and fell in love with the place. We sat indoors at the bar, but there's an outdoor patio, as well as other tables inside. From the outside, it looks like a thrown together shack, but inside it will evoke Key West or some funkky Caribbean Island joint. And the fact that they're connected to the same group that owns DaDa adds another interesting layer. The staff was wonderful. Friendly and accommodating. We felt immediately comfortable here. We decided to try their classico margarita (only $5) and it was quite good. The food menu had a number of interesting options. I decided to choose a couple different tacos. I got their burnt ends brisket and their fried cobia fish. There was a small container of chimichurri sauce on the side. The tacos were very good. And surprisingly filling. My husband had their smokey mole wings. They were excellent. Lightly marinated in the mole and paired with a jalapeno ranch dipping sauce. We are already planning a return trip.

I have to say El Segundo "es Primero"! Wow! This funky little eatery is fantastic! All things Mexican, eclectic foods assembled fresh and delicious! I ordered the Smokey Mole Wings. The hint of Mole on the wings and the seductive Smokey jalapeño Ranch dressing hit all the right taste sensations. Paired with a Classico Margarita... pure heaven! Definitely a spot to return to and entertain friends!

Holy guacamoleeeee! This spot is a must visit when you're in the area. Tucked away under an overpass and surrounded by little studios, you won't miss it with all the colorful writing and cute umbrellas floating above. The guacamole and chips were so fresh and tasty. The chips had this mixture of like smoked paprika and tajin so it was like a flavor explosion. They were so good even by themselves. The burger though, astounding. The meat was so perfectly juicy, seasoned and crisp on the edges. The bun was fluffy, fresh and the fries were hot and crunchy! Unbelievable. Also, slather some guac on the burger if you get it because it's dang good! The birria tacos will also blow you away with flavor! The decor inside feels so chill and just cool all around. Good prices, great service and even better food. VAMOS!

Visited again for fourth anniversary celebration. Quite crowded considering earlier downpours. Tried another two ( Miami) mojito.Still no lime or mint. As usual seemed well staffed with generally smiling people but 45 minute wait for Tacos from a food truck???need more trucks or food options when a larger event planned. Also $12 for small plastic cup of mojito compared poorly with Flanagans nearby.

Food was amazing and came out so quick after we ordered! Great deals, we went in for happy hour so it was 50% off all drinks from 4-7. Service was amazing, we sat at the bar and everyone was very helpful. Tacos were all amazing with so much meat and toppings. Big mac, chicken, and fish were my top 3! Cute place, but for the summer don't wear heavy clothes because it's just outside with fans, but loved the vibe!!

Went here for taco Tuesday for the first time & I will definitely be back. The margs were $5 & $7 & they tasted great , the bartenders were very personable & the tacos were delicious. I definitely recommend arriving around 5 or 6ish because it does get crowded by 8pm they were on a 30 minute wait.

Felt sooo good to be back to my fav California street taco joint again and boy was I BLOWN AWAY as usual! So much so that I neglected to get new pics of our meal... so these will have to do from last summer. First off, the vibe is ALWAYS tip top, and the staff go over and above to make sure your experience is a great one. I was able to bring my 5th El Segundo 'virgin' by to give it a try and she was totally hooked. As for the food, nothing beats the fish taco. Hands down it is a must have! I am sorry I didn't to take a few 'to go' for lunch this week! Literally best I have ever had! I love the street corn caesar salad with the mole chicken for sure and the burnt end tacos are a solid choice. Another star of the show is the Birria tacos and consommé- a great sharing plate for 3! All in all you must plan to experience the magic that is El Segundo!

When management/owner is there, it's great. When they aren't, it's hit or miss. Typically the food is very good and flavors are great. The ambiance is cool. But, keep in mind you're paying $7 a taco so for $7, there should be something in there, not a quarter size bite. Our tacos yesterday literally had fish the size of a quarter in each one. Oh, and they were out of guacamole. That's like Chick Fil A running out of Chick Fil A sauce. It was only 5:30. Disappointing because it can be great.

was up in Palm Beach for the day and checked out yelp for a spot to eat lunch. my fellow yelpers never disappoint. this place is kind of off the beaten path under an overpass so if you don't know where to find it, you might miss it, but the ambience is so cute. it looks like a tiki bar but nowhere near the water and while you're sitting in a stand alone building, you're ordering food from what looks like a food truck. Our server was really knowledgeable and helped us get some great choices the fish tacos are amazing and seem to be a fan favorite. The corn queso dip was phenomenal. and so was the rest of the food. our server told us about all the good specials they have Monday through Friday and since we went on taco Tuesday, it was three dollar tacos and five dollar margaritas if you're ever in this area and want the best taco around. Definitely try it out.

The fish taco was so delicious. I also like the relaxed atmosphere. Will be back to try different tacos.

I am obsessed with this place. If you're in WPB, you need to go. It's adorable and very Key West like. It's all open and it has this super chill vibe like you're on an island somewhere eating their local catch on a taco. Our out of town friend found it and we'll be back again soon! Bradley is the manager and bartender and he's awesome. Also, they have $5 margaritas, how can you say no to that?! We ordered so many tacos and they were all outstanding. The pimento cheese dip was incredible too. This is hands down my favorite little taco spot right now!

I'm not here to diminish anyone else's experience, but rather to share my own honestly and constructively. Situations like this should serve as a learning opportunity for upper-level management, especially when the level of service and leadership falls below even basic expectations. We ordered a filet mignon that lacked the tenderness I would expect from a restaurant claiming this caliber of dining. We also ordered the salmon, which unfortunately had that unmistakable metallic, pungent flavor that immediately signals the fish is not fresh and should not be consumed further. We brought the issue to the attention of the manager, who acknowledged it initially but never returned to follow up. To their credit, the salmon was removed from the bill and an alternative dish was offered. However, the overall experience still fell far short of what should be expected at this price point and reputation level. What disappointed me most was not simply the food itself, but the complete lack of genuine hospitality and ownership from management. Strong restaurants understand that service recovery matters just as much as the meal. There's a reason establishments like The Capital Grille or Flagler Steakhouse have earned reputations for professionalism and customer care. Sometimes I genuinely think managers at places like this should spend time training in environments where hospitality is treated as an art form rather than an inconvenience. The following day, I was still disappointed enough to write this review. At a certain point, guests should not have to spend over $200 while simultaneously educating a restaurant on how to deliver proper service and quality control. With an abundance of superior restaurants nearby, this is not a place I would return to, even if offered a complimentary meal. Don't chance it.
