    Crazy Nachos and Pig Queso

Outstanding food! As a huge fan of nachos, the crazy nachos were delicious and showcased how many ingredients are done properly. Great chips, chicken, steak, and shrimp all excellent, queso is immaculate, salsa is superb, seasoning and portions of the food are terrific!

I am so happy Dayton has a new Mexican restaurant! They have indoor and outdoor seating, so make sure to check out the patio when the weather is nice. I love the terrace feel of it. We went the week it first opened, so service was a little slow at first, but once we got our food order in it came out fast. The food was hot and delicious. And the best part, honestly, was the price. I feel like a lot of Mexican restaurants in the area are way overpriced for what you get. The price of everything is great and we really liked the food. My only con was the margarita - I didn't really love mine, it wasn't very flavorful, but maybe I'd like it on the rocks better. Can't wait to go back!

My fiancée and I met with some friends here to try it out because we've heard so much about it…read more Does it live up to the hype? Absolutely and so much more. So many upscale Mexican restaurants just go all out on the drinks and the food is just okay, but this is NOT one of those places. This place does BOTH the food and drinks VERY well. Not to mention the service is awesome too. And the atmosphere is very laid back as well. Here's what my fiancée and I had: -Pitcher of classic margaritas -Quesabirria- Three prime birria quesadillas with a side of consome -Arranchera- thinly sliced skirt steak with rice, beans, and warm tortillas. With a side of grilled cactus and fresh pico de gallo Even their chips and salsa were above and beyond your typical Mexican restaurant. The margaritas were very tasty. My fiancée loved her quesabirria and my arranchera was epicness in every bite. Sure, it's a little pricey, but absolutely worth it. This spot truly stands apart from any other upsc Mexican restaurants we've tried thus far.

My friends were celebrating their Birthday and they wanted Mexican food. I mentioned this place and they were game. My friend made reservations for 11 people on a Friday night. The inside is not big but still spacious. They also have the igloos outside which you have to make reservations. I was very impressed with the food and drink menu. Especially the drink menu. They have so many different brands of tequila and specialty cocktails. For food, there was something everyone. Pescatarian, vegetarians, and all the meats. We ordered: Drinks: Pitcher of classic margaritas Dinner: -Quesabirria- Three prime birria with a side of consome -Arranchera- thinly sliced skirt steak with rice, beans, and warm tortillas. With a side of grilled cactus and fresh pico de gallo While we were waiting, they offered chips and salsa. The salsa had a Smokey flavor. Loved it. We didn't wait long. My friends and I really enjoyed our meals. I especially loved my birria. It had great flavor and went well with the consome! The house Margarita went well with the meals. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We had a good experience! Definitely will return.

Not in…read moreheat/warmth but in actual flavor, so did the queso, which I was not expecting but was happily surprised by! I got the Birria Ramen. It was an ever so slightly spicy bowl of ramen with eggs where instead of a traditional bowl of broth, the ramen was sitting in a bowl of birria (stew). There was cheese on top (and I added some queso that we didn't finish with our chips) and it tasted really good. My friend got the Torta de Birria, a Mexican sandwich with onions & cilantro that came with fries and birria broth. He gave me a bite and the bread was outstanding. It was fluffy but dense and held together really well. I didn't try the fries, but they looked delicious. The presentation of both meals was pleasant. They came out on thick cutting boards which I thought was cute. The service was pretty slow, but we came right at the top of rush, so that might've been our own fault. The vibe is loud and vibrant. Not my usual kind of place, but I could see it attracting a lively sort of crowd.

BUT if you're in the mood for chaos and fun, this place delivers. The drinks are HUGE and all come with something extra - sparklers, IV-style bags, etc. It's very much an experience. I'm from California, so food-wise it didn't quite hit the way I hoped, but that's not really why you come here. I got the spicy shrimp fajitas - massive portion, but I wished there were more veggies. My friends loved the birria ramen and burrito. They'll also randomly sing happy birthday, give tequila shots, and there's a dancing robot/Transformer guy who just... shows up. Go once for the vibes alone hah

It was very cold in the restaurant and the restroom was legitimately freezing! So the atmosphere definitely left a lot to be desired, at least on the day I was there. As for the food, I ordered a flight of tacos - the Alderman, the Gangsta, and the Yoda. They were all delicious. The service was top notch and they kept my water glass full which is always tough to do with me! I'll definitely be back and hopefully they'll have the heat on next time!

I ordered up some Epic tacos to help force these margaritas down. All of the tacos were ok. I tried one from each category: Pork, chicken, beef, and seafood. So my conclusion is...they all pretty much tasted the same. How is that possible? I honestly think I like the more simple tacos. After a while all the crazy taco combinations just become too much stuffed into a single taco. I know! I know! I'm a sucker for the simple, delicious tacos. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed my meal. But I can't tell if that is more of the margaritas talking or if I really enjoyed it. I guess we will never really know. I do know, this margarita would have tasted better with some friends. Bring your friends when you come.
