Went for lunch with my friend around 11:30 AM for Taco Tuesday. Street parking was easy to find at that time. The restaurant itself was also easy to find. There was indoor and outdoor seating available plus a clean bathroom. We were greeted promptly by a friendly woman. She told us to take a seat anywhere and brought us chips with salsa and a bean dip. She was also patient with my friend and I deciding what to order and transparent about the slight price increase in their menu. My friend and I ordered water for our drinks and those came out fast. Note, the Taco Tuesday special is only for the following meat options: chicken, al pastor, asada, and carnitas. The special price for these is $1.75 per taco and they come with limes, radishes, grilled onions, and a grilled jalapeño. I tried all the taco Tuesday meat options plus the lengua and fish tacos. All were delicious and generously packed! Not too salty or oily for me and were flavorful. There was also a salsa station next to the register which also included extra radishes. The chips and dips and the waters were included with our meal. The 2 ladies taking orders and passing out the orders were so friendly and welcoming. It was a nice atmosphere. We paid at the register once we were done eating. My friend was able to get a take out container for one of her tacos. This was a great value lunch and we would both come back! Came here for Taco Tuesday. Tacos were tasty, but I wish more meat was on the pollo. Also the pastor tasted a little sweet, opposed to spicy. There was a salsa bar, but I didn't see any other condiments available like I've seen in other reviews. Service was excellent. Very friendly! New taco spot in Downtown Suisun. They have daily specials and my favorite so far is Weds/Thurs for their Birria Tacos. Their birria tacos are generously stuffed with meat and cheese! And just 2 tacos are really filling. I've also enjoyed them at home the next day as well. $6.99 for 2 birria tacos is an incredible offering. Quite popular so they now have the special available 2x a week. Also really enjoyed the chicharrón appetizer that comes with fresh guacamole and salsa. It was fresh, hot and, crispy. Highly recommend! Chips and salsa, and other condiments are complimentary. This is a small but clean place with a few tables indoors and deck style outdoor bar seating at the store front. Plenty of street parking on 2 sides of the building and much more available across the street in the marina lot. Restroom is spacious and unisex. ADA access would be difficult or not accessible as there are several steps to the restaurant entrance and no ramp or elevator available. I would say this a great place for a quick snack on, after a run/walk around the marina, take out, or just passing through. Come and enjoy their specials and their other foods. The owners and operators are quite friendly and treat you like family. Just wanted to add there is wonderful festive music, playing inside and out. Food was amazing and will definitely bring me back. I had the Tacos de Pescado (fish taco) and my husband had the asada chimichanga. Both were explosions of flavor and freshness in the mouth! The fish was cooked to perfection -- crunchy and tender at the same time with cabbage, cheese and sauces that were so good! I tasted my husband's chimichanga which he was quickly devouring. The flavor of the asada and the rice were truly incredible. The guacamole was groan inducingly good -- made fresh for us and not a drop left at end of the meal. I also had the chicharron which was in very large pieces on a tiny little street taco and it lacked flavor and was very tough. I also had the skirt steak, which was good. This place recently opened up in downtown Suisun. They have specials daily. We tried it last Tuesday for their taco Tuesday specials. It did not disappoint. Great price for delicious street tacos. I have eaten here 3 times, and all the food has been excellent. El Templo deserves it 5 stars. Their fish tacos are huge and delicious. There Carnitasl are extra flavorful and their AL pastor is a touch spicy and tasty! They have good daily specials too, which helps save some money. They have a chili crisp type salsa that is out of this world. It's hard to describe...but I crave it. The staff have always been kind a d attentive to me. They have given me little "extras" on two occasions....like a sample cup of refried beans, and a side of grilled onions with my taco. I highly recommend El Templo Del Taco. I'm giving this place 3 stars because it's not consistent. But I liked it. The Birria tacos are hit-n-miss. The first time I had them the tacos were perfect!! Crispy shell, good amount of meat and cheese , a grilled pepper and onions and the consume wasn't just a cup oil it was the JUICE from the Birria and had meat in it with a little oil on top. I ate every bit of the tacos and dipped and drank every drop on the consume!!! The last 2 times I've been there the tacos weren't any of the above. The seasoning was off, no grilled peppers and onions and they gave me a cup of that oil off the top that is not dip worthy. Just a cup of grease!!! I think the quality of the food depends on who is cooking. It's just not consistent. I tried to take the food home and fix it up but ended up tossing it. The food can be really good but you have to identify who is cooking the good food. I would give my first 2 visits 4 stars maybe even 5!! But after giving them a few more chances... it's a 3 star place. read more

No picture because there is no food! We were promptly greeted and seated however the follow up service was atrocious! We waited at least 10 minutes and couldn't even get a cup water. This new taco shop is located on the main street in suisun. There's a lot of street parking. it's very tiny, but luckily there was one table left for me and my husband. He ordered the ribeye taco. I thought this was a unique option. The owner said this is what they are known for. The meat tasted juicy and came out quickly. the tacos come with cooked onion, potato, and jalapeno on the side. The tacos are served with a side of chips. There is a little salsa bar that also has pickled veggies, cilantro and chopped onion. I ordered a lengua taco and a tripe taco. I DoorDash some burritos for dinner and I was presently supposed on how good they where. We got the carne asada and carne desebrada burritos, some of the best we've had in the area. The place is a hole in the wall we drive by it all the time. Only down side is they didn't put any salsa with the burritos they might have just forgot. My husband and I strolled by to check out this new location in town. First impressions: the restaurant is tiny and cozy. I love the light fixtures inside the restaurant. I believe the owner may be a fan of superhero's based on the frames hung up around the restaurant ? Not sure but it was eye catching. The prices for the food is a bit misleading as a super burrito came out to $14 bucks. There's an additional fee added if you pay by card by a few cents. Food was good. The super burrito was small compared to others. Nothing crazy for $14 bucks. My husband liked it but wished it had a bit more of everything that comes with. I ordered the Quesabirrias, they were good. If you order them with the consomé on the side, the total comes to almost $11 bucks for 2. I placed my order to go and even tho this is a new restaurant in motion, I couldn't help but make a note of the paper plate my food was placed in. It almost looked like I brought food back from my aunts house or a food stand. I truly wish this business success as this is fairly new and I want to see them win especially with two hotspots on main st but I will be back as small businesses deserve to grow. read more

Spotted this new spot to try some quesabirrias off DoorDash. They had a buy one get one free 15.99 for the Quesabirrias, which would be 4 quesabirrias and 2 consomes (1.99 extra ea.), however they ripped me off and only gave me one consome. The quesabirrias were flavorless, very little meat were not fried in consome, there was nothing to like here. 0/5 Consome did not have good flavor, more like beef broth. 1/5 Tried the tacos pescado, deal was buy one get one fore $6.99. These were ok, just pretty flavorless. 3/5 Also ordered deal for Super burrito (buy one get one 14.99) had very little meat, meat that was there was gristly, did not care for taste. 2/5 El Pastor Taco, meat was dry, decent flavor. 2.5/5 Salsa paid 2.00 for 2. Which were only half full. Flavorless, watery/oily, thin. Jalapeños were my favorite thing here, the only thing that gave the meal flavor in between bites, however all this food, I only received 1 jalapeño (2 halves). This place is so good! They have really cool pictures on the wall and the food is amazing! Every meat that I've had was delicious. I have tried their fish tacos, which were perfectly fried and had an amazing sauce on them. I had a Carne Asada burrito, so delicious! And I had, an Al Pastore burrito also super delicious. I would go there just to eat the sauces that they have in the jars on each table. The chimichurri is so good! And if you'd like Horchata, this is your spot! This place just opened last week, and they are absolutely fantastic. They can do any meat in any food item; they have lots of selection of meats. Ask them to tell you what they have, or they may offer to tell you when you come in. We decided to get tacos, but I'm sure their burritos are great as well. I want to try their guacamole next time.
