Came here for lunch with my boss. This is a mom & pop shop. We had a good interaction with the cashier, but maybe that was because my boss spoke Spanish for the whole interaction. Therefore I can't speak to pricing. The parking - Shares a small lot with the auto place - It was packed but it seemed like there was always a car leaving every 5-10 mins - if you can't find a spot, you could always park across the street at the shopping complex where Ross is -Taco Rapido is right on the corner when you cross the street Seating - There's seats inside past the ordering counter as well as a outdoor patio Bathroom: - You have to ask the cashier for the bathroom keys -it's a basic bare bathroom that gets the job done The food: 1) I got the quesadilla papas con chorizo (chorizo & potatoes quesadilla): 8/10 - quesadilla was bigger than my face! - lots of filling 2) Agua Fresca: Piña (Pineapple) - excellent 3) my boss got the taco dorados with potatoes - She said this is her second time here, this was the item that hooked her, so it sounds addicting. 4) my coworker got the quesadillas rajas and a quesadilla papas con chorizo to save for dinner. She was licking her fingers all throughout, so I can only assume she thought it was quite yummy. 5) my boss also treated us to a cookie as dessert - I forgot what it is called but it is inside the container right by the cashier. 03/08 @ 11:40 am - I'm here at the restaurant/juice bar for the first time & the service is beyond disgusting. Aside from that, it's very unsanitary as well. Handling money while handling food is nasty which leads to cross contamination. The lady attending who is wearing a blue shirt and a white Nike hat had an awful and disrespectful tone when attending me. She didn't say hello, she didn't say nothing but, "Que es lo que quieren?" That's not a proper way to greet or talk to anyone especially if we're helping and feeding your business. I didn't even order everything I was craving due to how rude she was. After all of this is going on, she is in the back still handling food and playing with the ice machine. Then she lets us know our order is done 5 minutes after it was placed down. I'm not exaggerating nor am I writing this review out of pettiness. It's really sad that people treat customers this way when all we wanted was to buy some juices and biónicos and try all the great food this place advertises. I don't know what type of game the owners are running but it needs to change if you want your business to succeed. Came down here to get my car's window fixed after a break in and saw this little shop on the same lot with all the fixes. Looked on yelp and saw a mix of reviews about rude service, don't come here blah blah blah ect. So we ended up walking down the street to Don Chente's because honestly sometimes I let Yelp make the decision for me on where I'm gonna go next based on what's nearby. After the window was fixed, we decided on going next door and getting an alarm on the car. A few hours had passed and got a craving for a raspado. Despite the mediocre reviews we decided to come just try it out for ourselves. To our surprise, this little joint had a huge line of people inside. Tacos, burritos, tortas, quesadillas, Tostilocos, bionicos, natural juices..I mean the list goes on and a little bit of everything was being requested by their clientele. Quickly realized it's one of those joints where the workers are just focused on the task at hand and not even promoting their shop or asking for some yelp reviews. So decided to write this hopefully boost the rating here because for one, every single employee was very nice to us. Making sure our table was clean, thanking us for coming, I mean we really were confused as to why the ratings were bad. The majority of clientele they get here are old school parents who probably don't even know about yelp, and young teens who are too busy on IG. I'm all for helping little businesses like this where you see everybody working hard and trying to satisfy their guests. And I'm not talking about full on 5 star butler services or a server doing table checks. It ain't that type of joint. Just your traditional mexican snacks and sweets cafe where the women who not only take your orders, go get your drinks, make your order and so on. I've been here a handful of times, dine-in and take-out. All experiences have been pleasant so far. The girl out front is always really nice to me. They have the best carnitas I've had in a long time, lean and well seasoned. Their raspados are awesome. I've had the guanabana and tamarindo ones so far. So yummy! Avoid this place, their outdoor patio is dirty as well as the inside store front and they don't follow their "no mask no service" policy.
