I consistently see a line going through El Tacorrido's drive-through - not always an indication of a good spot, but definitely piqued my interest. I dropped in on a Thursday morning and ordered the ham/egg/cheese and the chorizo/egg/cheese break tacos on flour. The tacos were reasonably priced, and they quickly brought them out to me. Man, these are good tacos. The tortillas seem fresh to me. They loaded on the toppings, and the salsa on the side was delicious. It seems like they used a Swiss cheese or something comparable to that on the taco, which was a nice variation. The carnitas tacos are some of the best things I've ever shoved in my mouth. They are my go to tacos here. The carne has a great flavor and with just onions and some cilantro makes a great taco. One of my favorite local taco spots! Great options (good variety) for tacos and I love the horchata (try the equinox for a mix of horchata and espresso). The salsa is delicious and personally that's what makes the difference for me with their tacos- I always order extra! The service is always quick, so while a line may form it will not take long to get your food. This is a to-go only location, with the option to either drive thru or order at a window, and parking is minimal, but in my opinion it's a good spot to grab food on the go without sacrificing quality for the convenience. read more

This is a tiny little spot, but I'm definitely not disappointed about the food that they pump out (surprisingly fast). I've always seen cars here, and a few times I've seen them lined out of the parking lot. so on a day that wasn't so busy I decided to check it out. I got Pastor, pulled pork, and Barbacoa. Pastor is usually one of my favorites this place produced a different flavor than what I'm used to, I mean they're kind of doing their own thing with it, which I appreciated (change it up some). It had a little twang, almost feel like I got a little barbecue flavor in there. The pulled pork was by far my favorite, something I feel like I would cook at home! They didn't give us any green sauce which is what I love. I found some from another place and with the sauce the tacos were pretty solid! This place rocks. Their tacos are tasty and their salsa (both, but green is my fav) is so good! They also offer some coffee drinks, which is an added bonus... only 1 stop! The one I love the most is the El Equinox. It's espresso mixed w Horchata... which if you haven't had horchata, it is a delicious creamy (non dairy) rice milk!! This is worth the trip over here alone. The only reason I did 4 stars and not 5, is that my orders have been consistently WRONG. This is a drive through only... no indoor dining and it sucks to get where you are going and have the wrong tacos, or NO salsa at all. That just happened to me (ugh). So advice... Amazing breakfast tacos! I was in the area leaving to head back home and was looking for somewhere that sells tacos. This place has a drive through which excited me the most, like I said I was on my way out so this was extremely convenient. I ordered 3 bacon egg cheese potato tacos which came out to be $10. Eh. Not good not bad. It's hard to mess up breakfast though to be honest. I ordered two tacos: the cactus with cheese and the eggs, bacon, and cheese. They're on flour tortillas which are oddly thick. Too much tortilla for the amount of filling. The cactus seemed pickled or something but was actually quite flavorful. I just got cactus and cheese, but it may have been spiced up if I added more to it. The egg bacon and cheese taco was exactly what it sounded like. I could make it at home. We also ordered the horchata coffee which was great, but I believe it is a cup of horchata and then 1 shot of espresso. We requested two shots of espresso and it still was very horchata-heavy. It was a good thing that the horchata did actually taste pretty good. Very sweet, though. I really dislike breakfast joints sometimes because I often thing I can make something better and they end up being overpriced. This place was one of those places. Design your own breakfast tacos or choose from like 15 kinds of meat/meat combos for your quesadilla. (You can get any of the meat by the pound btw.) Standard taco options but I've only tried the pastor (good).Big fan of the El Equinox (iced horchata with a shot of espresso) with whatever you get. Drive through only. I asked them to make this spicy, they roasted a Jalapeño and added some special secret spicy sauce grilled into the beef, (see photo). This was a hammer to the flavor buds. Well done my peeps. All in all, paid $4.25 w/tx. This place is small, on a corner, parking is limited and the double sided drive through makes it looks a little strange pulling in. I suggest parking in back, walking up to the window and ordering your food (much faster) and then going back. They really don't have any tables outside or anything, so plan accordingly, me? I come regularly and agree the potholes are ridiculous but alas I still show up. However, this morning I came at 7:45am and they were out of potatoes and red salsa. I reluctantly ordered something else (only 1 taco as both the tacos I normally get include potatoes) but after 10 minutes in line and still 2 cars ahead of me I had to pull out and leave. Absolutely disgusting - breakfast taco had a roach inside it. I've been wanting to try this place for months, impressed that there is always a line in front. Finally made it there and picked up some breakfast tacos which smelled DELICIOUS. I really enjoy their food and have been going for years, but recently, during the COVID19 lockdown, I went twice and the employees and not all wearing masks. They are working in close quarters and this is unacceptable. When the lady at the drive through window laughed at my suggestion to wear a mask, I decided to never go back. I've been sleeping on this review and it's a must to write how much I love this place. Taco wise, the Barbacoa tacos, pastor tacos, and also the bacon, egg, chorizo and cheese breakfast tacos are my go-to's. If you've had a late night or want a refreshing pick-me-up, order the horchata espresso drink (wow!). During Covid-19, I've been here several times since it's relatively close to where I live. The standard of care they put into making sure my order is secure and that I am safe is top notch. Everyone that I could see was wearing a mask and gloves, and when I gave them my card and they asked me to sign, the staff wiped my card before handing it back and gave me a new pen out of the box. 5 stars all the way, support this place, they are local and they rock! read more

I don't know his name but he has a shaved head and is so nice and good at what he does! I had been to Tacorrido once before and really enjoyed it. The two veggie tacos were really good and the prices are fair. However, I went again this past weekend. I got two veggie tacos and one fish. The fish taco tasted a little bit off but I didn't think anything of it. I ate my tacos around 10 pm, and then went to bed a couple hours later. Suddenly at 2 in the morning or so I woke up and felt extremely sick. Soon I was violently vomiting over and over. For the next 24 hours I was extremely sick and could barely even keep down a sip of water. I kept vomiting and had very bad diarrhea. My whole stomach area had a constant pain going through it, I felt extremely weak, and very dizzy. I couldn't think straight, and I could barely get up to walk around. The whole experience was very painful and difficult. I haven't gotten sick like this in years. So yeah, never going here again. Also, I posted about this on my Instagram and from my small amount of followers, TWO other people said they have gotten sick from Tacorrido as well. Obviously something is not right at this restaurant. Honestly I am disappointed because I really enjoyed the tacos before, but I am never getting them again. read more

I love their menu, they have a great selection and plenty to choose from. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is because their meat can be a hit or miss... frequently. I only order chorizo street tacos anywhere I go, and their chorizo meat is great, but usually burnt. I've tried quesadillas and tortas and more from them and they weren't too bad. Al pastor tacos (my friend orders them and I tried one of them) it was really good! So if you come for your first time and it doesn't meet your expectations, I'd suggest you give it a second chance and see if you like it. I think it depends on who's working that day and what you choose from the menu. I still come here for the selection, convenience and drinks though. read more

Ordered from here on Uber eats and based off the ratings I thought it would be really authentic, but I ordered the Al Pastor tacos and it was more like mushy meat than crispy really spicy on right orange meat that comes from our beloved food trucks, wasn't really impressed. It was okay to eat but I wasn't going insane about it, cause street tacos are my THING. The best tacos come from the taco trucks hands down. We were in Austin for the F1 race and let me tell you that both my husband and I didn't expect much but were we wrong, these tacos were Delicious!! They were open late and had a drive thru! Service was great and fast for a fresh tasting taco. We had the carnitas and bistec on corn tortilla, the tortillas were soft and warm, there was enough meat in each taco.
