Coldest food and soggy chips cause it sat so long before assigning a door dash driver. I've dined here before and had a good experience so I gave them a try with door dash. They didn't assign a driver for longer than an hour. I'm disappointed in the fact that they thought it was okay to hand over food for delivery that has been sitting out for THAT LONG! Finally, an excellent restaurant in Lehigh Acres Florida!! Our dear friends took us here for our anniversary. It was wonderful and they had mariachi singers play throughout the evening--only Friday's do they play. I had carnitas with a green sauce, loved it. Happy hour was the best deal around. Service was really slow and the restaurant was empty. Took almost 25 minutes for a waitress to take our drink and food ordered, another 30 minutes for the drink to arrive and the food was wrong and late. I didn't leave the restaurant because we were in a group but I was really disappointed. My enchiladas were way too salty that I could eat it. My friend never got her order so she left without eating. This place has the worst customer service I have ever seen. We sat at the outside bar for 15 min on Saturday , Finally someone showed up but did not take our order so we waited a little longer finally got our drink orders in and she never came back no drinks no nothing but she tried to wipe up the previous customers mess after 10/15 minutes who knows finally we just got up and left. We go there all the time, the food is amazing. The choripapas are the best!!! Our favorite Server is Megan, she is fast and awesome.

Interesting when you come in the parking lot it's not obvious where the main entrance is. We entered onto the patio as there was a mop bucket sitting in the doorway blocking another entrance adjacent to it. We aren't smokers and had thought we could sit outside but we were choked out by the smoke of the other diners. Inside we went. That takes you to the bar area. It's very clean and feels "upscale". Delish! We have not had something we didnt like yet. They give fresh chips and homemade salsa to your table. The salsa is the perfect amount of spice to satisfy me (which loves it hot) abd not so spicy that it hurts my husband which is more of a mild kinda man. We have been her multiple times and man those stuffed poblano peppers are so freaken good! We jave also tried the tacos... pork dish and burritos all which were so good. Well, it was average food. We had chili Verdes and Margaritas. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The food came out hot and fast. I think I was more surprised at the over all cost at the end. Update. Lastnight was terrible the music was rattling car windows. Service was terrible. Food was terrible. Only thing good was a 1 margarita. Never got asked for another drink and never seen waitress again. Guy at bar brought the check. No one even came back around for 20 mins for us to pay for our cold food that took an HOUR to get. So we had to pay for it at the bar. We are never going back. Migraine headache for sure. Stay away from this place. We told them about the food and just got looked at. What do you say when you finish your meal and give the waitress your credit card and that is the last you see of your credit card! I was a restaurant manager for several years and cash handling is extremely important. After waiting 15 minutes at the table for your credit card and another 10 minutes at the hostess stand. I actually had to chase down the manager who was busy playing bartender instead of dealing with my lost credit card. I cancelled my credit card which was never found and left. What a horrible experience for an average at best meal. The service was good until they lost my credit card. The environment is more like a cafeteria than a formal restaurant. The mariachi band was talented but the space was to small for them. I recommend waiting for the next restaurant to inhabit the place. read more

I used to frequent the Cape Coral location and thought it couldn't be beat. Guess what? Lehigh is just as good if not better!! The chips are fresh and crispy, the salsa is great and tasty. We got a bowl of cheese dip and it had the perfect amount of jalapeño. I did ask for it to be reheated which our server gladly took care of it. I got the combo #8, which consisted of a burrito, enchilada and a taco. It only cost $10. It was fantastic! The red sauce was perfect. My wife ordered a taco for only $3 because we had filled up on the chips and salsa and cheese dip. It probably had $2 worth of cheese on the taco. She was very happy with her order. The food is great. Service was wonderful. We had a party of four for lunch. Two of us had dinner menu and the other from the lunch menu. Two desserts and two drinks. The others had water. Total $71.00 I had to take home half of mine. My husband is not a spicy food eater. He had steak and shrimp. He said it was awesome. They have combo meals with lunch and dinner plus appetizers. The chocolate cheese cake with ice cream covered with whip cream was very very good. I and my friend shared and still not able to eat it all. My husband managed to eat all of his. There is one down side. The plates are big and the tables are to small to have four plates, basket of chips with salsa, drinks . It was a feeling of crowding. That was it. They need larger tables. Went here while we were staying in the attached Microtel hotel. Horrible experience. We got in a bit late so had to be seated in the back room as it was open later. We were seated next to a table of extremely loud patrons who kept shoving us into our table as they got up and down to dance. There was a DJ and it was incredibly loud so we could not even have a conversation. I had the combo platter with a cheese enchilada, bean burrito and cheese chile relleno. They dumped some kind of tomato based molé sauce over everything that tasted mostly like a can of hunt's tomato sauce. It was so salty I could barely taste anything else. My boyfriend got chicken & beef flautas that were so overcooked that the meat was rubbery and the shell was nearly shatterproof. We both got a margarita that had enough sour mix to cause heartburn for a week and almost 0 tequila. It was so watered down that I had to ask for an extra shot that did nothing to help the flavor. I am convinced they water their liquor down because all I tasted was sour mix. Do yourself a favor and eat elsewhere. read more

I didn't even know about this place until they had a guy out on the street with a sombrero on with a sign! I could literally eat Mexican food everyday, so I was ashamed I didn't know this place just opened in my own town! It is pretty tucked away and the restaurant itself is integrated into the first floor of a 4-5 story hotel, so it makes it even more difficult to find. However, once you're on Business Way coming from Beth Stacey Rd, you will see the big open-air patio with the festive lights. The pros: Firstly, the quality of the food is great. I didn't see or taste anything that seemed off or old. The place is clean too. It is a little odd shaped because it is built into a hotel and you can certainly tell, but it is what it is. The chips and salsa are great! The salsa always tastes fresh and while it is more puree style than chunky, it still has a good salsa feel - for those that care about the consistency. My wife loves it, and she loves her salsa non-chunky, and I love chunky salsa. The salsa still had some nice chunks of tomato and onion enough to keep me happy. The chips are nice and crispy and I would say thin to medium thickness. Always taste fresh. The pork. My goodness. I can honestly say that I don't think I've had better carnitas in my life. I even daydreamed about them the rest of the day and the following day. Needless to say we went back very soon after! Carnitas in general are pretty similar to Cuban style pork, but these are pretty much indistinguishable. I can almost swear they have some old Cuban pork-grill master back there making the pork. It is fantastic and can't say enough about it. Try out the Burritos Tipicos or pretty much anything from the pork menu. On the note of burritos, the beef ones seems to be some type of marinara-tasting sauce on them. It was just odd to us. Haven't tried the chicken yet. The portions are great! We're big eaters and they have great portion sizes. The Chori-Cheese app is pretty big, so beware. It's like a boat of cheese with chorizo chunks. Absolutely delicious though and it didn't survive the evening! The desserts are pretty big too, think 2 people instead of 1. The cons: I would say the biggest con is the way the restaurant's service is run. It's a mish-mash of whoever gets to whoever first, instead of a more standard approach of one server per table / section. If they stopped doing it the way they are doing it, I would give it the extra fifth star. It's great to have a bunch of people serve you when you're one of the only tables. It all goes to hell in a hand basket once there's like 4+ tables. I was there one night and there were about 3-4 servers and about 6-7 tables. It was a nightmare and it shouldn't be the case. 6-7 tables is doable for even 2 servers. There is just no reason to subject your patrons - nor your servers - to such confusion and inefficiency. They seemed overworked and over stressed - and for nothing - it's a simple fix. Again, there is absolutely no reason to run them into the ground like that. Maybe there is some kind of traditional or regional-based reason for this? I have no idea, but it's terrible, it really needs to change. Also, there is one particular male server there who always forgets something. Every single time we've gone, we were waiting for something that he said he was going to bring. I would like to blame the ridiculous style of service they have, but none of the others have forgotten an item. Hopefully he will learn as he grows in this business - we all have to start somewhere. I'm listing the desserts as a con, but barely. Only because they smother everything in whipped cream and chocolate or caramel sauce - they even cover the flan with chocolate sauce which to some flan purists is a no-no. The Xango is great though, just suffers the same problem of whipped cream and different syrups. Overall it's a pretty cool place. We haven't seen the band yet, but maybe we will sometime. It's hard to believe this level of quality is here in Lehigh - it is very welcome! read more

We were hoping that El Tarasco might be a gem but tonight after our first visit, it will be our last. Neither of us got what we ordered. Was the food good? Yes, but very, very bland for a Mexican restaurant. It was nearly empty on a Saturday night at 6:45. Not a good sign. The karaoke, which I'm forced to go to by my friends is a huge headache. It's too loud, and most of these people can't even sing. The restaurant isn't any better.
