Came here for Saturday brunch buffet, which I think is a somewhat newer offering. It's a pared-back version of the Sunday brunch buffet - fewer items but the same good quality, and a cheaper price. Bottomless mimosas are available but for an additional cost, and works out for someone like me who doesn't drink but the husband does! We get to enjoy the same buffet regardless. I think the regular menu is still offered. We were hoping to sit with our usual server (Jose S) but his section was busy so we got seated elsewhere. And we still got served by Jose! We had a great time at Mother's Day Brunch at El Torito. We had 4 adults and 1 kid and price was good for all that you get. They had a mariachi band which was nice while we ate. Do not sleep on El Torito, ya'll! This was a crowd favorite. I almost forgot about El Torito completely but I'm so glad my mother in law suggested it for her birthday lunch. We had the margarita flight which was so fun to try, a bit on the sweet side but it got the job done. We tried various combination plates and everyone at the table agreed that it was a good meal. Our server was attentive, made sure we good all throughout the meal. Kept our glasses topped off and cleared our plates as we finished. All in all, a solid place that can accommodate a large party. I really was hoping for this restaurant to be as good as all others I've been to. Sadly it was not great! Service was horrible. Our server never came to check on us. We kept flagging other workers for napkins, chile, water and container. Food didn't taste good. Rice was dry and old. Fish tacos were ok. And fajitas were ok. The appetizers were no good. Hosted a private event here and had a wonderful experience! My family and I needed a restaurant to host a reception after a funeral. The team at El Torito was amazing! We had the hardest time finding a restaurant that could offer us day-of flexibility, but El Torito was able to! We let El Torito know that we wouldn't be able to offer a final head count, just a rough estimate, and they were able to accommodate that. They let us know that even if more people showed up, they would have more food available. We ended up having a handful more people than the estimate we gave them and it was no problem. They even let us have a few more tables as we definitely had more people than we expected. The service was phenomenal! Many servers came by to check on us. We opted for an unlimited buffet option for our guests and our guests left very stuffed. The food was surprisingly good! I had been to El Torito before so wasn't expecting anything amazing, but we all really enjoyed the food and the selection. Overall, we had a wonderful experience here and would highly recommend El Torito to host your next private event. El Torito & Taco Bell are the same company with the same ingredients. The menu is always outdated; signature drunks: bee's knees = lame. This company bombs at being authentic. THEY CHARGE 4% TO PAY WITH A CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD. Companies like this pay fractions of a penny for thier merchant services that is a tax deduction, and for them to pass on the fees for using a card to pay is grotesque. Our server, Jose S., was AMAZING -- truly top-notch service. He was attentive, kind, and made our experience enjoyable. Unfortunately, the manager, Delia Reyes, was the complete opposite and really took away from our visit. I came in with my two young children, and we were offered either the buffet or the regular menu. I was hesitant about the buffet since my kids are extremely picky eaters, but I decided to give it a try. I got a plate for myself and encouraged my kids to try some food, but they barely ate -- just a little rice and some beans. At one point, I even gave them some of my rice while I continued eating tacos. While we were seated, I noticed the manager watching us closely from behind our booth, which felt uncomfortable. Later, she added a kids buffet charge to my bill. I explained that my children didn't actually eat the buffet -- my daughter mostly just wanted chips, and I had to convince her to eat even a small amount of rice. Despite explaining this, the manager was rude and dismissive. The interaction felt unnecessary and unprofessional. She could definitely benefit from improving her customer service and management skills. It's unfortunate because the server did such a great job, but the manager's attitude left a negative impression. read more

We hadn't been to El Torito in a looong time! There were four of us and ordered the family style fajitas. It came with four meats, four sides (two rice, 2 beans), tortillas, corn cake, and guacamole. We had chicken, shrimp, steak, and carnitas. All four were delicious but the carnitas were next level tender with good caramelization. It was a good amount of food and ended up with leftovers...and not from a lack of trying to finish it all! My bad for not remembering the young man's name working lunchtime on 3/15 (Saturday), exceptional service!!! Came here for Sunday brunch. 40 per person as of 8/2024. Complimentary pancakes during Sunday brunch. They have an omelet station(didn't try), a coffee, and sweet drinks station near the front. They also had a taco station - I only had enough room to try an al pastor and it was perfectly juicy. A long row of cheese enchiladas, beef biria , sweet corn bread, menudo, ceviche, sauteed veggies, beans, rice, sausage, huevos rancheros, and more. A very big selection of desserts - ice cream, flan, arroz con leches, banana pudding, and even a chocolate fondue fountain with fruits!! For buffets I usually do 4 plates, but I was only able to do 2 plates and one flan. It was super filling and we didn't eat again until 9pm at night. read more
