    Steak Quesadillas

El Toro located in Springboro continues to be quite impressive with their service and quality of food. We dined here for lunch a couple of weeks ago. There were five us during this lunch season. We had really great fast and prompt service and served food by an hour and half. I ordered the steak quesadilla which was massive in size. Not only was the portion over the top but the steak and veggies had a lot of fresh signature flavors as always. Never disappointed with the service or the food. On Saturdays they have chicken fajitas specials that can be shared. Let's not forget about their top notch margaritas as well. I highly recommend this location based on outdoor seating seating options, service and quality of food.

    side of burger

THEORY: The one in three burger curse. I am here to present a proven theory of the side of cheeseburger. My findings show that if you are to order a side of cheeseburger, approximately one in three of said burgers will be a bowl of queso. This has been proven with my research. Service was great!

My wife and I stopped in here last night after dropping our son off at the YMCA. We both had the chimichanga meal and enjoyed it thoroughly. We got in just before the rush which made it that much better. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. We will definitely be back again.

The restaurant has beautiful outside seating and most tables are spaces 6feet apart, which was quite nice. The waitstaff was accommodating and friendly. Our waiter Emil was super nice. I ordered fish tacos. The food looked very tasty but I have to admit that the fish tacos tasted dry. My side of squash and rice was under seasoned. My hubby ordered quesadillas and said that his dish was very tasty. Our Long Island ice Tea and Margarita had a nice kick and was really good. I was a little taken aback when I noticed that one guest was smoking at the table. She literally smoked one cigarette after another. Luckily we sat far enough away and didn't have to deal with the smoke. Not sure if it is even allowed still to smoke in a restaurant.

At first, I was skeptical because of the low ratings, but as I started reading the ratings, most of the bad ones are doing the pricing. Now I think, for being in the area that we are, it's fair pricing, and they give you large amounts of food that being said we ordered a burrito which in my opinion look like a chimichanga or an enchilada. We also ordered enchiladas and chicken fajitas it wasn't bad wasn't great but the seasoning was very good. The chips and salsa might've been some of the best ones I've had in a while and this coming from a Mexican kid, now the one thing I might see is the initial service sucks, but the waiter did apologize and stated that he forgot where we sat however, he did make it up and worked very hard at that point the pink strawberry lemonade he made it himself. It was amazing. I would return for the chips, the lemonade, but as far as the food goes some of the local supermarket have better food.

    Birria Tacos

Traveling through here from Buffalo, I got the Birria tacos... they were incredible and flavorful. If you come here regularly and you haven't tried them your really doing yourself a disservice by ignoring this menu item. Great service!!

Great food but service was slow compared to most Mexican restaurants. Prices fair and a good variety of options. Restaurant was clean and the servers were very nice just took awhile for us to place order and for the food to be ready

Good food, reasonably priced, clean establishment, and friendly service. A good addition to local dining. Best Mexican food in Springboro.

Wouldn't accept a $4 coupon on a $50 meal because it was on my phone rather than printed out. Kind of ridiculous in this day and age.

I started with the spinach dip and my co worker had potato skins. I didn't try the potato skins, but my co worker enjoyed them. The spinach dip is always a favorite and theirs did not disappoint. I ordered the grilled mahi mahi with Cajun seasoning. A little overcooked but ok. I ordered a house salad and sweet potato fries. I suggest asking for the carmel dipping sauce, it enhanced the fries. Overall, it was a good experience. I recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.

We also got the pecan pie before we knew about the icecream. Everything was good and the service is great. They have lots of staff which is unusually these days. you order at the counter .. the first person takes the meats you are ordering .. the second person get the side items. We switched the bread for corn muffin the first 2 times there wasnt an up charge but last time there was.???? Not sure will switch again the corn muffin is REALLY sweet and we weren't in love with it. The sides have a seasoning that has alot of salt .. next time i think i'll tell them light on the salt. Everything came out super hot and fresh. the meat was tender and no thing wrong .. not fat or grissel ... all good. i really liked it and the price was great. Each time we went we split a meal .. that came with 2 meats and 2 sides. It was plenty. I like that it's family owned and ran. They did a fab job!!!

We waited about 5 minutes for a table, they were cleaning & turning tables fast. We reviewed the menu as they have a much larger selection than Frisch's ever did, since this was our first visit we went with the classics fish sandwich & the signature. They have Pepsi instead of Coke & they were out, also out of lemonade & sweet tea too. Once our food arrived, the fish sandwich was hot & quite larger than previous Frisch's. The signature the bun it was served on was stale & fell apart, the burger patties are larger, but the lettuce was on the bottom & lots of pickles, I couldn't taste the tarter sauce at all, but the waitress was too busy to ask for more. Their fries were okay, I miss the crinkle cut. We finished off by sharing a hot fudge cake, which was huge, the cake is thickly sliced & with a hand scooped vanilla ice cream, as soon as you went in with a spoon to get a bite it completely fell apart. Good try Dolly's I would rerun again to try something else or breakfast as there were a variety of omelettes, scrambles, potato pancakes which sounded good.
