I love this place!!! It is usually very busy especially on the weekends so I get take out most often but they have excellent dine in and take out service. When it's too busy they will bring out free samples and offer drinks to the people waiting outside. My favorite thing so far is the picanha. Tacos are also great price and delicious!! read more

Not impressed at all. We ordered the picada $13 with yuca fries $3. The picada meats were room temperature- not hot at all. He asked us what temperature we wanted, we said medium and they were mostly well done. The yuca fries were good, crispy in the outside and creamy in the inside. The meat and yuca needed a good sauce, which they did not have. Even though, the picture showed chimichurri on top of the picada. I've been to the restaurant on 8TH ST, but wanted to check out the food truck. I ordered dinner from here last night and honestly for '$10.99' you can't beat the "Toro Loco Special'. It's two sides with a 1/2 pound of meat. The sides were a decent size and the meat was tasty. I personally did not have a lot of fat on my churrasco, but the picana had a lot more. The food truck also doesn't have all of the items offered in restaurant, like the sweet potato fries and mash. The food was tasty though. I ordered it well done and just wished all the pieces were like that, but most came how I wanted besides a couple that were still a little red. They forgot my rice so I suggest you double check! But that's with any take out. Overall, my food was really good. It is also cheaper than the restaurant. STRONGLY recommend the garlic rice, it's not too much garlic taste. It's not like going to the restaurant, but great to take out and for a different feel. read more

For a food truck parked at a gas station this place better than great! The meat is cooked perfectly and is quality cuts. We come here at least 2-3 times a month and if you want some gooooood meat sweats, this is the place! The quality is just as good as a churrascaria that is not a truck. Try the lamb chops. Aside from the time it takes for food preparations, we spent about $40 and we're only given 2 small sauces for 2 different meals. My husband kindly asked for 2 more since both our meals came with 2 sides and typically one sauce is only enough for the meat. The lady with blue eyebrows and a guy in the front proceeded to charge my husband $2 additional for the dang extra sauces we were asking for. ITS RIDICULOUS- they said that it was the franchise that is now making them charge for extra sauces. Prior to this- a lady ordered ONE platter and was given 2 sauces for her meal. I was in the car (pregnant and in a pain) so when my husband told me they wouldn't give him 2 sauces PER MEAL It seriously bothered me and I went to ask myself in person and was given the same response. An attitude of "I don't care". I understand if we went there to buy a total of $10 or less but how would you still charge a customer for 2 additional sauces after spending $30+ and expect them not to get bothered. It's NOT RIGHT. I've ordered delivery service from this food truck on numerous occasions. The food is always piled high and freshly cooked. The churrasco was superb and seasoned perfectly. The kale salad was kinda like cole slaw with a slightly sweet dressing and a nice choice for a side.
