    Key lime cake.

Stopped in for a night cap. The bar area is colorful and dimly lit. It has a nice tranquil vibe. The espresso martinis were made well and the key lime cake was simply amazing!!!! You must get this dessert. It was so moist and not too sweet. Perfect way to end the night.

Love this place! Bold, eccentric, and unapologetically over the top with zebra print, red lighting, and a jungle-meets-supper-club kind of vibe. It's the kind of place that makes dinner feel like an event. The service was on point, the host Jennifer was so warm and welcoming, and manager Michael was a huge helped and constantly kept checking in to make sure everything was perfect. All the food was on POINT. We went with the ribeye, black truffle tortellini, shrimp cocktail, wedge salad, creamed spinach, and finished off with hot beignets. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a dinner that's both upscale and unique. Part fine dining, part jungle fever dream, and all reasons I would go back in a heartbeat.

While I have heard positive reviews from friends, I went to Dirty French skeptical as showy restaurants like this often miss the mark on food. I was completely wrong, as Dirty French was fantastic. The steak was incredible and all of the sides were delicious with huge portions, which I was not expecting. The service was top notch, they never missed a beat. It is expensive, but in my opinion worth the high cost!

I've seen some mixed reviews on social media however I had a great time here. The ambiance, the service, and the food was amazing. I had the filet mignon, dirty rice, and the gold dollar drink. My steak was cooked perfectly and the onion and garlic on the side was a nice addition. I also really enjoyed the complimentary bread and spread. The decor inside is very eccentric but very picturesque. I would come back here!

Wanted to try a new place for dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the food at Dirty French. I'll start with the cons since the pros outweigh them. For food reviewing purposes it sucks a little that you can't use a flash to take photos. Also, it was super hard to hear our server explaining specials, sharing the steak board etc over the other patrons and music but we managed. Our server was however had very personable energy. And the decor and ambiance is very nice, with a bar/lounge area where you can start before seated. We started with the wedge salad which is prepared table side, crab cakes, and calamari, as well as the house bread they bring out. That bread was life changing! Lol. Everything was really good, and I was really skeptical about the crab cakes as a Marylander. The salad wouldn't be something I'd order again because it was full of thick pieces of bacon which I don't eat and wasn't listed on the menu. For my entree I went with the snapper and for sides mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, and mushrooms. Everything again was delicious. The potatoes had me a bit nervous because they were more puréed than mashed, but very flavorful. For my drink, I ordered the Gold dollar, and it was delicious. It came out on fire literally! I love a good presentation. So much so, I ordered a second. I'd pop back in for cocktails and lite bites for sure. $472.32 including a service charge was the total for the two of us.

Dirty French Steakhouse in Brickell was absolutely fabulous! My girls and I had such a wonderful night. The ambiance is dim, sexy and chic. The service was flawless, and the food outstanding. Even the complimentary bread was buttery, warm, and delicious. Everything from start to finish felt special. Highly recommend for a night out in Miami.

Loveddddd this place! The ambiance is like cheetah, 70s, french type style. The food was amazing! No complaints about anything we got. Best complementary bread I've gotten from a restaurant in a while, and it was different! Waiter was very informative and helpful as well. NO HATS allowed in this restaurant though.

Overall, I had a good experience at this place, although my impressions are mixed. The restaurant is located in a basement setting, which creates a very intimate and quiet atmosphere. The design resembles a classic American steakhouse, with a style that feels caught between elegant and dated, leaning more toward the latter. The service was excellent and classy. The menu was interesting, and the food and drinks were generally good. The steaks are the highlight and should not be missed. While they are pricey, the cost is comparable to other steak restaurants in Miami, and the meat quality is exceptional and very well prepared, making it totally worth it. The fries were also outstanding. The duck, however, was disappointing; it was soggy and chewy, and the orange flavor was barely noticeable. The appetizers, sides, desserts, and drinks were, in my opinion, overpriced for what they are. These items were fairly average and did not stand out as anything extraordinary for the price. I visited on the last Friday of the year during prime time, and the restaurant was more than half empty, which influenced the overall ambiance. I particularly liked the bar area, which felt trendy and inviting. However, the cocktail menu did not inspire me enough to consider returning specifically for drinks. This place perfect for a date night.

This is 1 of my favorite restaurants in Miami ! I love their fillet mignon because it is so flavorful. You don't even need a sauce with it. The vibe is always fun here, especially sitting in the zebra room. The music is always fun and it's also a great place to people watch! The manager ,hostesses, and waiters are all very friendly and accommodating. They have recently added a showcase cart for additional steaks that are not on the menu, including specialty wagyu cuts. So there are plenty of choices if Steak is what you're looking for. I don't recommend the mushrooms as a side, as they came out very very dry. I got them because they were described as garlic mushrooms, but they were so dry and I didn't really see any garlic or olive oil on them, so those would be a no. We've enjoyed their pommes puree many times before, though and those are delicious and creamy. For my starter I had the black truffle tortellini, which is also new on the menu and I loved it. It comes with five pieces of tortellini and they were just soft, warm and delicious. I didn't taste much trouble in them, but I would get them again because they were delicious ! My husband started with the giant grilled oysters, and he also ordered the Caesar anchovy salad, which he enjoyed. They also have a great wine list ,as well as a champagne cart, which is right up my alley! We were celebrating me feeling better so I started with a glass of Dom and he had his Chopin martini and then we moved into a beautiful bottle of red wine with our steaks. ( Chateau Kirwan 2016 ) We ended with the triple chocolate layer cake & a smile. It's always a fun dinner at Dirty French steakhouse! If you haven't been in a while, give it another try ! If you're having out of town company this is also a fun place to take them for dinner!

This place is just perfect. The staff is super polite the moment you walk in and the drinks, food, appetizers, and vibe is perfect. I highly recommend this place for anyone who want a chill night out or a good meal. It gives off NYC lounge vibes.

It's been a minute since we have been back, but WOW the service was exceptional from beginning to end. We tried some new and delicious dishes tonight like the crab Louie and the Diver scallops. Our waitress fletcher nailed the recommendations tonight. The Dover sole is probably one of my favorites I've had. Finishing was the Sundae service was a phenomenal ending. The vibe and decor is fun, dark and yet vibrant in a way with sexy animal prints. They have valet but is also a close walk if you're in Brickell.

Dirty French is across the street from us and we've always been curious. We finally had the chance to go for Valentine's Day and had an awesome time. Like others say, the vibe and decor inside really stands out. It's very fun with lots of velvet and art deco-y vibes. It reminded me slightly of Delilah decor-wise, which is also around the area, but a bit more edgy and laid back. Francisco was very helpful with introducing us to the menu and making sure we had what we needed. I especially really appreciated that Francisco gave me a heads up that the scallops appetizer was served sashimi style (probably should have realized this since it was under the "raw bar" section of the menu). He pointed out that there was also another scallop dish in the entree section served seared that we could order for an appetizer and so glad we did, because it may have been my favorite thing we ate. All the food was delicious and the prime rib to share was also a standout. Very flavorful and loved it was cooked medium rare. Luis also did a great job making sure our water glasses were full and table clean and gave us a great recommendation on dessert (don't remember the name but it had delicious puff pastry, caramel and pineapple). I regret to say I don't recall the sommelier's name, but he also did a fantastic job helping us pick a good wine within our budget and was not pushy. Like others say, it is quite a pricey restaurant so just be mindful of this. Some dishes may be more worth the price than others (for instance, I was skeptical of their gnocchi special that cost $100...seems like a lot for pasta??). It's also a very lively place, so if you're looking for a quiet date night place, probably not the vibe. But I'd recommend Dirty French for a fun night out for a special occasion.

Ask the Community - Dirty French Steakhouse

Do they offer any complementary birthday desserts? Can I bring my birthday cake for a Tuesday evening reservation so I can cut it and celebrate?

Do they serve the dinner menu at the bar?

No, it's only. Very limited menu at the bar on nights I was there

Does anyone know if apps are served in the bar area?

The bar area has it owns appetizer menu of small bites.

    Do they do walk ins?

Yes, but depending on the size of your group and day you go you may have to wait b/t 45min and up. But worth the wait.

Do they have a corkage fee?

Yes, corkage is $95 per bottle I believe, and of course the bottle cannot e on the list.

Their disclaimer says 'no open toed shoes inside the dining room'. Does this include high heels for women. It's vague?

I don't know where this disclaimer is, I couldn't find it anywhere. I wore nice leather sandals (not high heels) with a nice dress and we had no issues being seated. I'd assume high heels with an open toe are also fine.

Nestled in Wynwood, the restaurant has a chic yet welcoming atmosphere with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It's the kind of place that feels lively without being overwhelming. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality stood out. Every staff member was warm and attentive, and our server, Radomere, truly elevated the experience. Managing a party of 12 is no easy task, yet everything flowed seamlessly. He was attentive, personable, and made sure our celebration felt special from start to finish. With a group our size, we took full advantage of the menu. We shared oysters, escargot, crispy artichokes, leeks, beet salad, French onion soup, tuna carpaccio, steak tartare, and a beautifully curated cheese platter. Every appetizer arrived impeccably presented and packed with flavor. It was one of those rare meals where every dish earned compliments around the table. The cocktails and wine were just as enjoyable especially the dirty martinis, which were a hit with our group. For the main course, we ordered everything from the cheeseburger and mussels to the lemon pasta, spaghetti, steak, and chicken. Once again, every plate was beautifully executed and, more importantly, absolutely delicious. There wasn't a weak link in the meal. Dessert was the perfect finale. The dark chocolate mousse was rich, silky, and easily my favorite, though the profiteroles and lemon tart were excellent as well. Great food is one thing, but when you pair it with exceptional service, it makes for a memorable dining experience. This was an easy five-star visit, and I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the artichokes, escargot, steak frites, lemon pasta, burger, duck, and the drinks. I can definitely see why people recommend the restaurant. What really brought the experience down was the service and how an issue with our table was handled. We made a reservation well in advance for a party of six to celebrate a birthday. Once we were seated, we realized water was dripping from the ceiling directly above our table. We asked if it would be possible to move, and our server said he would check. Instead of moving us, they brought over a ladder, asked us to stand up and move our drinks so water wouldn't drip into them, and then had someone wipe the ceiling with a mop right above our table before seating us back in the exact same spot. It honestly felt cheap-looking and unprofessional, and it wasn't what I expected from a restaurant with this reputation. Even if there weren't any tables available at that moment, I would have appreciated being told, "We'll move you as soon as another table opens up." We would have gladly waited. Instead, we spent the meal hoping water wouldn't start dripping again. The food absolutely lived up to the hype, but the way this situation was handled was disappointing. Customer comfort should come first, especially for guests celebrating a special occasion with a reservation that was booked in advance. The service definitely didn't match the quality of the food.

The Shakshuka was okay--perfectly edible, but nothing memorable. The Steak & Eggs was pretty much the same: decent, but definitely not worth the premium price. The biggest disappointment was the pancakes. They were dense, had noticeable lumps in the batter, and were nowhere near as light and fluffy as good pancakes should be. The syrup also didn't taste like real maple syrup, which was surprising considering how expensive everything is. Speaking of prices, Café Bastille is seriously overpriced for what it delivers. The restaurant also wasn't cool enough inside--the air conditioning struggled to keep the space comfortable, which made the meal less enjoyable. The one bright spot was the service. Our server was friendly, attentive, and did an excellent job throughout the meal. One more thing that is becoming increasingly frustrating in Miami: the bill already included a mandatory 20% gratuity. While I always tip for good service, automatically adding 20% regardless of the experience feels excessive. This trend is getting out of control and takes away the customer's ability to reward service based on merit. Overall, this feels like a place designed more for tourists than for locals. Nice presentation and good marketing, but the food simply doesn't justify the prices. Unfortunately, I wouldn't come back.

The service was great- our server was really helpful and checked in on us often. I tried the oysters, escargot, steak frites, and got to try all the desserts too! The oysters were fresh and buttery- delicious! The escargot were good, but i didnt love the biscuit on top. I think it went better with the house bread. Steak frites were amazing. The filet mignon literally melted in your mouth. And all the desserts were delicious! Especially loved the lemon sorbet. Very refreshing and citrusy. Overall a wonderful experience and I will definitely return!

The bar, red velvet furniture and the huge flowers behind the host station truly elevated the look of the establishment. We were immediately seated as soon as we arrived. As soon as we were seated, they brought us baguette bread with this tasty butter and pistachios. I loved picking at the pistachos while waiting for our food. To drink we tried the Modicum Rose, which was very good. To eat, we tried the crispy pig ears, escargots de Bourgogne, soupe a l' Oignon, Steak Frites, Truite Amandine, Bouchons au Chocolat and Creme Caramel. Everything was divine. It was a nice surprise that the crispy pig ears were meatier than I had anticipated. The escargot and French Onion Soup are the best ones that I've tried. The steak was cooked to perfection and the fries were crispy. The fish was so tasty. I was expecting the Bouchons to be warmer but they were still delicious and the creme caramel is like a lighter flan. They were definitely a great way to end our dinner. The service was phenomenal. Multiple servers checking in on us, plates and utensils getting replaced right away and when we would get up, the napkin would be folded again. The waiter also gave us baguettes bread with our leftover. This small gesture was very touching. I honestly think this may be the best French restaurant in Miami and look forward to retuning and trying other items from the menu.
