Beautiful location near the water. They have live music sometimes at night. You can sit at the bar, high tops, inside or outside covered patio. Staff was friendly and attentive both times i went. Did the Miami Spice menu both times. Appetizers i tried were decent but I really liked the Filet with Truffle Butter and the butter cake dessert. I also got a side of Mac and Cheese which was good. Pricing was on par with other steakhouses. They have Valet outside. Not sure about parking.

Our go to neighborhood steakhouse. Great bar , great pours ! You can never go wrong with the Mastros salad . I remove onions and add a side of blue cheese dressing ! We invited friends who just moved here to introduce them to one of our fave places . We all enjoyed dinner , the new bread basket , seafood, steaks and especially their homemade sauces ! Dessert is a must , as their butter cake is the best ! Ambience is always great. Most beautiful bar, live music, indoor outdoor seating and dining room and a high top bar area. Believe it or not we prefer to sit at the high top tables in between indoor and outdoor seating to watch the boats go by , as well as listen to the great singers. The service is top notch. We love Michelle. She is great tonight we had Joanne as she was great , as well. She went above and beyond to actually show me the cut of Steak, but I would be getting as I've had issues in the past. My steak was perfect tonight! Mastros has the best Bernaise sauce out there, so even if you don't think you like it, you have to order theirs and put it on and whatever you're eating will it be your Takeaway or vegetable because it will change your mind ! We left with money to go bags because even their pet basket is worth taking home! If you haven't tried Mastros yet this is your sign!

Beautiful location overlooking the water. Piano Player has a beautiful voice and very talented. Great ambience ! Jose and kentrel behind the bar were amazing . Very friendly and knowledgeable. They recommended some great dishes, as well as made some delicious drinks . We will definitely be back.

Wonderful time at Mastro's celebrating my birthday! From the first impression entering Mastro's it's a very beautiful entrance with black marble and a dedicated elevator to take you up. Upon checking in, Nick (I believe the manager) personally welcomed us and assured us he had a nice table for us available with a good view (although inside). My party and I really loved seeing a happy birthday message personally printed on the menu for me - what a nice touch! Christie warmly greeted us and oriented us to the menu. There was a large selection of wines to choose from, both by the glass and bottle. The bread service was delicious - a huge variety that were served warm and very tasty. Standouts for me were the pumpernickel and toasted cheese bread. Most of our party opted for the Miami Spice menu. I had the lobster bisque, which was a slight upgrade but totally worth it. It was decision creamy and had a very generous portion of lobster. I had the filet for my entree, as did most of our party, and we all thought it was absolutely delicious. Perfectly cooked and very flavorful - one of my friends has a good understanding and experience with grilling meats and was very impressed by how perfectly cooked it was. For sides, Christie recommended their lobster mashed potato as it's their most popular and we had absolutely no regrets trying it - so delicious! After such a delicious first two entrees, I realized a lighter dessert might be easier and Christie was kind to let me change my choice from the cake to the sorbet, which was refreshing and light. For my birthday, they added a little candle to my dessert, which also nice touch. I will say, there were a few hiccups here and there that seemed to mainly be a product of how busy the restaurant was. For instance, they got a bit mixed up on whether the wine we wanted was actually available or not. Also, my friend and I requested purse hooks and it took a little reminding to get them over to us. However, I wouldn't discount the experience for this since they did handle any challenges fairly well. Nick came over to personally tell us he found the sparkling wine we originally requested. Also, Christie was very apologetic for any delays and mentioned the restaurant is particularly hectic during Miami Spice. We were particularly impressed with Nick's attention to service and guest experience and could tell he takes pride in providing a memorable dining experience for guests. As we were leaving, we were amazed to see the music we were listening to was live! We commented during our meal how much we loved the unique jazz renditions of popular pop songs. It was amazing to see it was live since the audio was so clear and professional! With so many options in the area, I did originally go back-and-forth about what would be the best place to celebrate my birthday but I don't have any regrets after having such a great time at Mastro's and will definitely be back for another wonderful meal.

The calamari needed to be cooked harder. The branzino was too salty. The birthday dessert was good only the butter cake 10/10 but they didn't pack up my icecream which had me mad since i only had two bites because they took forever. The filet i asked for medium well that thing came back medium. Service took forever. Place cute and dressy. They put happy birthday in menu if it's your birthday. Chocolate cake nasty clearly needs gluten. Literally due to the wait asked them to pack stuff up but wasn't done correctly

This place is amazing. The food, service and ambiance are excellent. Plus great views of the water with boats passing by as well. Food quality is EXCELLENT. everything is delicious and cooked perfectly. Service is top notch - very attentive, nice, professional and very quick. Ambiance is excellent, romantic feel and they have live music in the evenings. My favorite dessert item here is the warm butter cake, so delicious and perfect way to end your meal.

SO DELICIOUS. SO FILLING. They give you good portions that make the process worth. You do not need to order a lot to get full quick. Came here for Vday & my anniversary & had a great time! Great views and staff who are super on top of it! MUST RETURN.

I'm not sure what took me so long to write this review. I visited Mastro's as a solo diner to celebrate my birthday (by yourself girl? Yes by myself). Since I was alone I was able to sit at the bar. The bartenders took great care of me and celebrated me and made me feel special. First, I had no clue what type of drink I wanted but I gave the bartender (who was actually more of a mixologist) some key ingredients i wanted and he took it from there. My drink ended up being a surprise and delight with a whole dry ice situation. Very nice! Next, I was attempting to not order the same ole same ole but i kind of did with an order of salmon. They have different preparations that you can have. It was suggested that I try the pan fried variety. This is cliche, but chefs kiss! My dinner was completed with a yummy dessert. The ambiance is very sexy, date vibe. If you have never been to Mastro's it is a high end steak house so please dress the part or you will be turned away at the door. Thank you all for making my birthday special!

Love love loved this high end steakhouse downtown. This super suave, sexy steakhouse is such a great spot for a date, bday dinner or special occasion. The service is above and beyond and the food here is show stopping. Portions are HUGE and food quality is so great. Worth every penny. MUST TRY the butter pound cake

The service was good, but we found the food to be less than stellar. My lady started with a salad that she loved but I tried it and thought it was too sweet. The mocktails were terrible and not cheap. The burger was good, but I'd say not great because the flavor of the meat was somewhat masked by the sauce and onions. Tried the skirt steak, which is my favorite cut after hanger, and while the presentation is great with butter melted tableside, it was not evenly cooked. The middle was medium rare but too much of the ends was overcooked. Also tried the branzino, was I thought was better than both the steak and the burger. Flavorful and cooked just right. Ossobuco seems to be very popular these days and for some people it may be a good date night spot, I just didn't love it. Would give it 3.5/5 if I could. I would note that the manager was quite nice as he thanked us for our visit on the way out.

I must admit, however, that I was a bit, unsure about what could possibly make a Korean barbecue restaurant worthy of a Michelin star. After leaving there, I found myself questioning why it only received one star. The meal was in a word perfect. Now I have seen a few reviews that mentioned some issues. I can confidently say that since the time those reviews were written, any of the problems mentioned have been addressed because there was nothing about my dinner experience there that could have been improved upon. Food, quality, presentation, service, and even the vibe of the restaurant contributed to the excellence that permitted the entire evening. No, I would say that this is a far cry from the Korean barbecue restaurant that you would bring your family to but strangely enough there were a number of families here, including small children. And everybody seemed happy. Wanting the ultimate experience we ordered the Omakase. Omakase is something that I have always associated with just sushi so seeing a meat Omakase was pretty excited. And it exceeded any expectations I might've had. Unlike the standard Korean barbecue restaurants, the cooks come over and make sure that every piece of meat is perfectly prepared. I don't know if it was because of my birthday or if it is always part of the Omakase, but they began the service with delicious top shelf, champagne. This was followed by an amouse bouche a fresh golden Uni on top of a Washington state oyster. The oyster was a perfect balance of briney and sweet, in combined well with the rather nuanced taste of the uni. Little did, I know that the perfection of this small bite would be carried on through every part of the meal. A cup of bone broth was brought out to drink. Some upscale Korean restaurants I have eaten at in the past serve bone broth, but it's not something that I had seen locally and I really do enjoy it. The first meat dish we were served was called steak and eggs. This was a unique creation of filet mignon tarte and caviar. The caviar added wonderful texture and a bit of saltiness that made the dish outstanding. This was followed by ample portions of filet mignon, skirt, steak, ribeye, ribeye, Again, I would note that the staff cooked each piece perfectly before placing it on our plates. Next came mushroom and skirt steak. Seasoned with salt it was quite enjoyable. So was the 45 day dry age Ribeye and 45 day dry age Rib eye cap. The Rice cake that followed was tasty, but I must admit was not in the same way as any of the other ingredients. Then came the over the top, premium meats, the American wagyu, Japanese wagyu, and LA galbi American A5 wagyu. An unexpected taste treat was the Japanese A5 in ginchi broth with noodles. Sides included Dehydrated chinrse lettuce stem Okra Kimchi cabbage, Scallion onion salad Egg soufflé After this male okra could become my new favorite vegetable; all of the kimchi varieties were superb, and the egg soufflé was delightful, although filling. I must admit it was too good not to overindulge. I probably would not have ordered dessert because I was so full, but they gave me a birthday dessert as well as some fresh fruit, which was a perfect finish to a perfect meal. Love this place and I do know there are some far less expensive options than the omakase so I do plan to be back. Highly recommended as among Miami's finest.

From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable--attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. You can immediately tell this is a place that takes hospitality seriously. We started with the beef carpaccio, which was beautifully presented and delicately seasoned--light, flavorful, and the perfect way to begin the meal. The wedge salad followed, crisp and refreshing with just the right balance of richness and acidity. For the mains, the experience really elevated. I had the tomahawk steak, and it was outstanding--perfectly cooked, deeply flavorful, and easily one of the better steaks I've had in Miami. My wife ordered the lobster ravioli, and this dish deserves special mention: it wasn't just ravioli with a hint of lobster--it actually featured generous, large pieces of lobster, which made it feel both indulgent and well worth ordering. The ambiance strikes a great balance between upscale and lively, making it ideal for both a special occasion or an elevated night out in Brickell. Now, to be clear--prices are definitely on the higher side. But in this case, you truly get what you pay for. Between the quality of the food, the execution, and the level of service, it feels justified. Service was warm and friendly overall but not always as attentive. Small lapses stood out (most notably, red wine being poured into my champagne glass) but those things happen and were apologized. Food-wise, everything we ordered was good but some dishes felt overpriced for what they were. The beef carpaccio,l was overwhelmed by oil which dulled the delicacy of the meat. The wedge salad was similarly heavy-handed: fully tossed and drenched in dressing losing the crisp that makes a wedge shine. That said, the filet mignon was excellent: well-cooked, properly seasoned, and easily the standout of the meal. It was the dish that felt most worth its price. Overall, Miami's Dirty French is a great choice for a sexy steakhouse night out with a lively atmosphere and solid food.
