They damaged my clothing and then refused to take responsibility, instead placing the blame on me. One item was so severely damaged that when I brought it to their attention, they dismissed my concerns and even claimed that the piece was already damaged--an incredibly frustrating and dishonest response. What's more concerning is their behavior online. If you look at how they respond to negative reviews or visit their Instagram account, you'll see that they frequently mock and complain about their clients. It is highly unprofessional for a business to use social media--where they should be promoting their services--to make parodies of their customers and portray them as "annoying." This shows a complete lack of professionalism and common sense. I strongly advise against bringing your clothing here unless you want it mishandled and then be disrespected for raising your concerns.

I had to take it to a proper tailor to fix the damage, and they were shocked at how badly it was handled. Not only did it still fit poorly, but so many things were done incorrectly. It ended up costing far more than I'd planned. They might be fine for dry cleaning, but absolutely do not trust them with alterations if you care about the outcome.

On top of the extensiveness of the alterations, the fabric of my dress is incredibly delicate and intricate, so I'm sure it was a challenge to work with. Tina and the other staff here are some of the nicest people. She said that they put love into their work, and both my parents and I could not have agreed more. They were kind and attentive and you can tell how much care they put into their work both during measurements and their masterful sewing. Beyond just doing the alterations, Tina made sure my mom and I felt comfortable putting up the bustle for my dress and teaching me how to sit in a chair without pulling on it. Every detail was thought of. We were incredibly impressed. Their work is actual magic! One appointment for measurements and one appointment to try it on and it was an absolute perfect fit. I dropped my dress off first week of February and 2 weeks later I came to pick it up and it wasn't ready for another few hours. The total for getting my dress hemmed was $80. It was a silk dress, not anything super thick or crazy. I also dry clean my work blazer, which costs about $20 and takes a week to get done. Another place I use to go to on Colonial only charges $8 for dry cleaning. The prices here are definitely higher than the average, almost double. I pay for the convenience because I am walking distance from the tailor, but if you are looking for average prices I would recommend another place.
