CONSUMER CAUTION We purchased a Tempur-Pedic mattress and adjustable base from this store in May/June 2025 for approximately $5,000. Our written sales contract included a $500 bedding accessory credit. As of December 16, 2025--over seven months later--we have still not received all accessories owed to us under that agreement. Since the purchase, we have contacted the store multiple times seeking fulfillment. We were given inconsistent explanations, including that items were sold out, already shipped, or should have already been received. The contract does not limit or define how the accessory credit must be used, and the written restrictions were disclosed to us at the time of sale He also did not put the amount next to each accesory item youre supoose to be getting so, Im not sure if youre getting the full $500. In November 2025, after continued follow-ups, we went into the store in person. We declined used demo items after the 6 mo of no product and failure to deliver and instead selected two new Tempur-Pedic pillows for him to repurchase. We received an "invoice" and were told the items would be delivered to the store and then hand-delivered due to prior delivery issues. As of today January 2026, those pillows and additonal acessories have still not been delivered. Imagine that. Based on our experience, we believe consumers should proceed with caution. In our opinion, it should not take months of repeated follow-ups to receive items that were contractually promised and paid for. The ongoing delays and shifting explanations raise concerns about reliability, follow-through, and customer accountability. Consumers may wish to be aware that under California consumer protection laws, businesses are generally required to: -Deliver goods as promised -Avoid misleading representations -Fulfill contracts within a reasonable timeframe. IMO The furniture deal fails to do all. You really cant please everyone, especially when this is your conduct. In researching this issue, I became aware through publicly available court records that this business/owner has previously been involved in lawsuits related to customer disputes. While others may have had different experiences, this information combined with my own, causes concern for future consumers. read more

Honestly I'm saddened to write this review. Christopher seems like a nice guy. But we've been waiting 3 months to get our furniture we've already paid for. We were told we would get it a week after purchasing it. The communication has been a 0/10. My calls go straight to voicemail. My text messages always go unresponded. In the rare cases I get a response it's always an excuse then promising it will come next week. But then when next week comes around and we get let down again our furniture is still not coming. I purchased a bedroom set from these guys . Well first they called and said only 1 night stand was not going to come , I was ok with that. When they arrived they didn't have the dresser and mirror. They claimed it was damaged. Anyways they put the bed together. its been 18 months and never received the dresser or mirror. I'm moving now and can't take the bed apart due to the glue they put on the hardware. I also figured out why one of the drawers under the bed seemed to have a defect. So here's my updated review of the sofa purchased at The Furniture Deal- At first, the sofa was really comfortable and nice; however, about 6 months in, the cushions are now getting flat and you can feel the springs inside. It has gotten really uncomfortable to sit and lay on the couch. At times, I rather lay on my rug. Next time, I won't be buying a sofa without actually seeing/feeling it out first. read more

I selected a matress set and it was delivered. The mattress was bigger than the box springs and the mattress hung over the edges of the bed. (Memory Foam). I went into the store and was told that a replacement would be sent over after lunch. I called later to follow up and was told that there was an emergency and they would get me a replacement, maybe the following day. The next day a mattress was bought out and there was still the problem of size. I had to go to the furniture store once again and was told that I could get a matress of their choice, which was not as nice as, or not one I would've liked to have. One of the store reps told me that they would open one of the mattresses in the store and have it expand. I advised that I want the mattress opened in my home as at this point I had some trust issues. There were a few floor models and I didnt want to get stuck with one of those. My daughters mattress had already been sold as NEW yet it was USED. I didnt make a big deal about that though as my daughter was pleased. The guy became upset and told the store rep, "Just Refund It!" No good customer service. I planned on originally furnishing my whole house through them, but after this, I would never........ or recommend. I have an autoimmune disease and have health problems. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! I purchased from them. The bed packaging was open and it looked like it had been returned. They sold it to me without warning me that the hardware was missing. I had to sleep on the ground the first night, because I was not able to assembled the bed. I went back the next morning and they told me that they had to look for my hardware. They finally called me that afternoon and I picked it up. The kit was still missing pieces, the bolts and washers were not the correct ones and they were different sizes. Some of the hardware was not even for my bed. I had to buy some of the stuff from a local hardware store and Amazon. I have receipts, and I took pictures of the stuff they sold me and how it was missing parts and the stuff I had to buy. Its bullshit, that I had to go thru all this trouble and headache because they sold me a bed that they were aware was not complete and they did not advise or warn me. I will never buy from here again, and I wanted to let my story be known so nobody will ever have to go thru all my trouble and struggle I went thru. BE WARE PEOPLE, NOT WORTH BUYING FROM HERE. BUYERS BEWARE!! BUYERS BEWARE!! This company lies and does DECEPTIVE PRACTICES! Went in to look at beds, the salesman talked us in to getting a bed and promised quick and easy, no hassle financing. Instead, he tricked us into a lease with TEMPOE. They are not a finance financing. Instead company and are leasing company. This is absolute HI way robbery! We were told our initial payment was $268.89 then the following month we would pay the same amount followed by three more payments making a total of five payments. We asked the salesman if this was a lease, that we did not want a lease, he assured us it was not, and was indeed a purchase. After we made our five payments and thought we were done, the following month they withdrew another payment to our bank account. I called TEMPOE, and was told this was a lease and we had to have bought the item out either 30, 60, or 90 days, otherwise we were still on a lease that was to last another 12 months. So far we have paid the price of the bed, plus hundreds more, and our only option is to pay $800 more by March 1st. If we do not we will have to continue paying $268.89 every month. So what it comes down to is the first five payments are interest only, which you then have to pay full price of item plus several hundred extra dollars. So, we will now have paid double the original price, and if we continue lease will have paid $4,840.02 for a bed costing $1300. If after the five payments we no longer want to pay, we have to return the item. We never would have agreed to these terms, I don't know why anyone would want to pay anyone $1,444.45 just to have to pay over the retail price to pay in a lump sum to own. Might as well just save that money for five months and pay in full, rather than get ripped off. at least $1500.00. DO NOT GET FOOLED LIKE WE DID!! We then went to the store and the manager was unsympathetic and refused to do anything to rectify this situation. You are better off going anywhere else but here!1 read more

Worst customer service I have EVER received! I ordered a couch set from furniture deal along with a tv stand. We made sure to ask whether they deliver and assemble the furniture, since we live in an upstairs apartment. The salesman, Mike, ensured that they would be able to deliver and assemble the furniture no problem. He even joked, "oh man, you live upstairs? The guys will have a great time with that!" All said and done, we set a delivery date for two weeks out. When the day came around on a Sunday, I gave them a call at 10AM when they opened. Marie answered the phone and insisted that she could not find my order invoice and said mike will call me back, giving me the feeling that she just did not want to deal with the situation. Mike gave me a call back a few minutes later apologizing and ensured that our furniture would be delivered by 4PM that day. I left work early to go home and wait for the furniture to be delivered only for them to not show up by the time they said they would. 5:30 rolled around so I finally called them to ask what happened with my order. Again, Marie answered the call. She said that the delivery truck had not delivered our furniture to the store so we would have to wait until Tuesday for our furniture to be delivered. I asked her why they couldn't just tell me that when I called earlier in the day, and she again did not want to answer my questions, only to say that mike would call me back. Over 30 minutes later, Mike called back saying the same thing: that our furniture would not be delivered until Tuesday. I asked him why he couldn't just tell me that when I called at 10am, he had no answer. I demanded to cancel my order since they gave me an order invoice that stated the delivery date would be on that day and they are not keeping their side of the deal. He laughed, and with a condescending tone said "I guess you'll be paying for something you won't have then because we don't do refunds and there is no way there is a delivery date on that paper" FURIOUS, I told him I'm staring right at the date as I'm talking to him. He said "I'm sure I did not write it on that paper, if you're so sure then bring the paper in." VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I ended up bringing the paper in and Mike's expression was shock, he did not know what else to say to try and scam me out of my order! I demanded to speak to the owner and both mike and Marie ignored my requests! I ended up leaving the store infuriated! Once I got home, mike called and said he would be able to deliver my furniture after all. I was thinking "how can they deliver furniture that they said did not get delivered to their store, which was the reason why I wouldn't get my delivery until Tuesday?" They sent an old man to come deliver my furniture IN BOXES, BY HIMSELF! So we paid them $99 for delivery just to be the one left actually unloading the truck, bringing a whole couch set and tv stand upstairs, and assemble it by ourselves????? RIDICULOUS! This company obviously does not care about customer satisfaction! Until this very day I did not receive and apology for the huge inconvenience. Once they collect their money they're set- they don't care if the customer is satisfied or not. And to think I was wanting to order more items from them! NEVER AGAIN! read more
