Nancy is the owner and only nail technician. She is by far the most conscientious and thorough nail person I have ever used and I've been getting regular pedicures and manicures for 20 years. What a breath of fresh air! Nancy was amazing, I've never been to this place and don't live in the area but they fit me in today and did a wonderful job. I lose toenails because I'm a runner and she knew exactly what to do to fix it. You can tell this is a nicely run business by the professional way you are welcomed (offered water, good note on time, etc.). I have to say, I was looking for a place last night and read a few reviews that popped up. I would caution against a review writer who uses a word like "audacity" about a nail salon when she's not able to get in on her schedule. Very clean shop and clutter free. The owner, Nancy, is very friendly and does a great job. My toes feel very clean and light following my pedis, and the nail paint jobs are perfect. A previous Yelper commented that their review of bad service by a male had been removed from this location. However, their description of the technician does not match anyone at this location, and if you look at their Yelp profile they made their first post on "El Paseo" nails location, not this salon. It's obvious that they did not come here and that their comments were intended for another shop. This shop is just off El Paseo with lots of parking directly behind the shop, steps away from the door. Nancy has great soft rock hits playing on the radio, that I keep finding myself singing along to. Give this place a shot, you won't be sorry. read more

I admit to being picky about my nails. I have not ever had a better looking set than here. Nancy is the lady in charge, and I regret that I can not remember the lovely girl who did my nails, but it was just the two of them when I was there. I had the "dip" with tips done. They were absolutely beautiful and were less $ than I have been charged at home in San Diego. I will continue to use this salon each time I visit the desert area. Take away my review and I'll keep reposting Made appt told several staff not to touch bottom of my feet.Salon worker next to him sneezed into gloved hand did not change gloves or wash hands. Very bad and gross. They interpreted he touched bottom of both feet anyway several times. Right large nail filed crooked. Not fixed so he painted my skin so I couldn't tell . The first time I went, She did an amazing job. Yesterday my husband and I went in to get a pedicure and I wanted the dip. It took forever to get started with only two people working. Since the time was already over an hour the lady doing my pedicure advised she could do my nails in gel, I asked her the difference and she said "it was the same". After cutting my nails too short, and putting the gel on. She said "Im finished". I walked out and 10 minutes later I had to go back because of the sharp edges. She filled my nails again and I was on my way. After a late afternoon swim, I noticed my nail was chipping. The next day, I had to go back again!. This time with an appointment, another long wait. People were walking out upset because the lack of staff. Again, filled whatever nails I had left and now back to nubs. They filled my nails so much my nails cracked, she said" have to make them extra thick") She had a concert to attend and told me to let my nails air dry. 20 minutes outside, she was closing early. Now, after washing my hands, I have a mess on my fingers. I'll have to find another nail shop. read more

Wow well I have had very bad luck with nail salons here in the desert. This one really was something I haven't had happen. I made an appointment with Nancy over a month ago online. The week after I made the appt. I called to make sure she had it down. We are going on vacation end of this week so I booked a gel mani & pedi. She checked and said oh yes, see you then.The last time I came here Nancy didn't do my nails, she started them then passed me off to a rude woman that did a not so a good job. Nancy tried to fix it & despite what happened I gave her a 5 star rating on here! Fast forward to last Friday I called Nancy and confirmed my appt. for Tues. 5/29 @ 9:30. She said oh yes see you then. This morning I called on the way and she said yes Kathy, I am waiting for you! I arrive and she is doing someone else & looks up at me & says "Can I Help You?" ( like she has never seen me before) And I said hi, it's me Kathy here for my 9:30 appt! She points to the woman in the chair and says oh she Kathy too! Then proceeds to tell me that she cannot do my appt. Drove all the way form Indio & says oh you have to come back later! EXCUSE ME....I don't think so! No can do. Told her great I am going out of town Friday. She doesn't try to make it better AT ALL! Tells me she'll get the other woman (1st one that was so rude to come over there) NOPE don't think so. I get it Nancy, mix ups happen but try to accommodate your client! She didn't even say well when would be convenient for you or hey I will fit you in and discount the service! ZILCH!! So sick of the no speak english nonsense when they "F" up. Could care less and guess what, people need to know she doesn't care. Prices are high she could at least have the class to match her prices. Just went to the BEST salon on the corner of El Paseo and Sage, behind The Jewelry Bar. Such comfy and beautiful massaging pedicure chairs, Randy did a great job on my pedicure. Nancy, the owner, always does the best job ever on my gels. Very relaxing and beautiful salon. Lots of parking, even some covered spaces. Very convenient. They accept walk ins and do massage as well. I took my daughter here for a gel manicure. They did the most amazing job! The place was clean and bright and the prices were very very reasonable. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because she overbooked us and it took WAY longer than it should have due to her stopping and starting and finishing with other clients.
