It's been a looooooong time since I have experienced a truly enjoyable hotel stay. I must have driven past Element 100 times during my trips to Milpitas and this time around, I booked a room. I was greeted by a very friendly and capable pair, Diane & Diane who were more than happy to tell me about the hotel. Usually, at other hotels, I am greeted by a very blank faced reception with minimal conversation, so this was a very nice change. The room was fantastic with a complete kitchen and very nice living room with a wall mounted TV. The bed had a great mattress and for once, I didn't wake up to a sore body from a typical hotel bed. They have free happy hour and tea time to go along with a nice breakfast. This was a 5 for 5 stay and the only bad thing I can say is I wish I came here long before this visit. Needless to say, Element will be my go to stay whenever I am working in Milpitas/San Jose. read more

It was a good stay overall. The hotel had great amenities, like the drinking water filter inside the room. I also liked that it included a full-size fridge and freezer, plus a microwave. They provided a few utensils, a toaster, and even dish soap with a sponge, which was really convenient. Breakfast was just okay. The eggs were too soggy, and the sausage was too dry, so we ended up DoorDashing breakfast the next day. read more

I liked this hotel, but we got unlucky going there for a family staycation weekend when there was a kids sports team group staying there too. Some of the kids were really loud and rowdy... my whole room was rumbling and shaking for about an hour at night because those kids kept running up and down the halls. They were not pleasant to be around. Breakfast time was also crazy... dozens of families with kids trying to get food... and some kids are pretty unsanitary the way they grabbed food... and some kids were wasteful too, I saw lots of good food get dumped or left on the tables after they left I really liked the hotel and would go again. I just hope we don't happen to stay with a bunch of sports families again bc it was a bit stressful for me being around that community. I think the hotel staff should've tried to place all the non-sports-team customers far far away from those customers that came all together, to avoid the noise issue. I did not rest well. Gym was clean. Pool was small but nice for kids to play around in. Hotel was a bit older but everything was in good condition. Breakfast buffet had a great selection. read more

I had such a great experience at Element Hotel! From the moment I walked in, everything felt clean, modern, and welcoming. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed -- and I especially loved that the room had a mini kitchen. My family and I's experience here at this hotel was absolutely amazing all because of DAVINA! The way she truly cared about our experience here and went above and beyond to assure we had everything we needed was more than what we could have ever asked. Davina provided alternative solutions when they didn't have what we needed, she remembered the events we were attending during our stay and asked us about them, she knew how to make us feel welcomed and comfortable to where we knew to her we weren't just a guests at a hotel but a friend as well. There is some major lying going on with previous reviews.... The hotel is under staffed and the staff and security that they do have look like drug addicts or maybe recovering addicts. I will never stay here again. Very unorganized check in process with one single person working the front desk. Long wait to get checked in. I requested extra blankets and towels before my stay and they were not in the room. I had to call 4 times and it took 2 hours to receive those extra items. The room itself is nice but not worth the hassle of everything else. read more

My husband and I came here for an overnight trip. We were in town for my friend's wedding reception. The hotel was super close to the venue which was very convenient. When we checked in, we were warmly greeted. The process was straightforward. Our room was impressively clean. The room had a refillable water bottle that could be filled with filtered water in the room. I like the fact that the hotel tries to eco friendly. My only complaint is the breakfast was not great. The food options are extremely limited. Also, there is communal peanut butter, honey, and other condiments whereby everyone is touching with their hands. Yes, I understand the hotel wants to be eco friendly, but to me, that is gross. For example, I don't know if someone used their dirty knife when getting peanut butter out of the container. There has to be another eco friendly option. read more

We had a great experience. It was a short, but sweet trip down. The reason we were down this way was for my daughter. My daughter competed in the California Regionals for cheer. The room was clean and really nice. The continental break was the best. It was amazing!! Everything was made on a flat hot grill, hot and ready. They had yogurt and everything to go on it. Orange, apple and grapefruit juice. Coffee creamer and tea. Pancakes with everything you can think of to put on top. Egged any style with hot sauce or other toppings. Bread, bagels, croissants and everything to put on top of it. The customer service was amazing. I would definitely stay here again. read more

Stellar experience at the Element. I stayed in the premium suite. While the bedroom and bathroom were pretty standard, the living room/ kitchen/ meeting area were notably spacious and beautifully (and playfully) designed. Really appreciated the design aesthetic. The corner suite was also quiet and clean. The lobby almost had a hip lounge feel at night. The local wine/beer happy hour and evening herbal teas were a nice touch. I had this on my list of places to stay. I checked in on a saturday. I was greeted as soon as i walked in. the aesthetics of this hotel is so nice. there is a mini mart by the check in. I was also given complimentary water for all guest. The hotel was very clean and the customer service was amazing. The room was clean and i loved having the kitchenette. So random but usually I dont enjoy the smell of the soap but here the soap was aloe and chamomile so it was good. Plenty of charging ports in the room but some are usb fyi. We stopped at the pool which is on the smaller side but was clean as well. There is a small area for sitting and grilling as well outside. The complimentary breakfast was one I havent experienced. There are many options. The french toast, eggs and fritata were made fresh. The french toast was a little soggy. They also a parfait bar that was a hit. Parking is $15. We had an amazing 1st time experience staying at the Element! We were attending a 49er game which we were able to board at the corner and it dropped us off directly in front of Levi stadium. We stayed 3 nights. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had the continental breakfast each morning. We were impressed with the variety of choices and the hot fresh food prepared for the guests. We want to give a shoutout to Mey, Aleja and Jhon they took care of us and made sure we were happy! I have been staying here for work since July. The Element is incredible. I have felt so comfortable here and the staff is awesome. Julie at the front desk is spectacular. Every time I walk through the front door she is quick to greet me with a friendly smile and enquires about my day. Their breakfast buffet is always tasty and on Monday through Thursday they have a Happy Hour with beer and wine. My stay here has been stellar. read more

This hotel is pet friendly and so CLEAN! We had a full size refrigerator which was great. The shower was beautiful and big. You can not beat the price here. First time staying here with my parents. It was an absolutely great experience. Clean rooms, clean facility, good for families and for long term stay as the studio is equipped with a small electric stove, medium sized fridge with freezer, dishes, a sink, and dishwasher. We were checked in by Madison on 9/1/2024. She was absolutely great and very helpful. My parents had a lot of requests and she was very kind and accommodating. FYI, room slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste are available for free upon request. Additionally, she informed us of the amenities including the free breakfast, workout studio, pool, coffee, and charging. Parking is $15 per day which isn't too bad especially if you have an EV as it comes with free charging! Overall, the service, amenities and cleanliness makes this place a 10/10. I had high hopes for this place. I made reservations at this hotel because my usual hotel in the Bay area was not available. The hotel itself was good. It was in a good location. We were given a nice room on the fourth floor. The room was everything we asked for with a king bed and a nice size kitchen with a full size refrigerator. The bathroom was good with a nice size shower with good water pressure. Body wash and conditioning shampoo were from Pharmacopia. The room itself was great. Breakfast was served downstairs in the morning. If kale stopped being trendy, this hotel did not get the memo as kale was served every morning for breakfast. To go with kale, they had Marissa cooking something different every morning. Some of their offerings included tacos, avocado toast (with kale), and strawberry crepes. Only one morning did they offer some kind of breakfast meats. I believe Marissa could've cooked your eggs to order. In addition to the hot food, they also had a yogurt station where you could make parfaits, various breads, and a kale salad. They also have a fancy espresso machine that could make various drinks. They have an evening appetizer of various cheeses, bread, olives and adult beverages. The hotel has a nice size gym with elliptical machines and treadmills. They had several weight machines, including machines for legs and back. The staff was good and friendly. Some staff seemed to explain things better than others. So why the 2 stars when everything else was pretty good? My employer started using virtual cash payments and this was my first experience with it. I called the hotel a few days before my arrival to make sure that they knew how to process a virtual payment. The front desk clerk assured me that he did. When I checked in, they had me use my personal credit card for incidentals. No biggie. On the day I checked out, instead of charging my stay to my virtual payment, they charged the entire stay to my personal credit card. I called and spoke to several front desk clerks, and they all said they would look into it, but, no one has been able to correct it. Unfortunately, my virtual credit card is now expired and my employer will now take months to process my expenses. read more
