A wonderful respite from our busy world & other noisy restaurants. The service is incredible & the food is divine. After a drive into the country we enjoyed a delicious steak. Husband couldn't stop "yumming" over the crab cakes served with his steak, and my shrimp were the absolute best I've ever had. Glistening inside and wonderfully crunchy on the outside. We must also give a shout out to the spinach artichoke dip served with homemade crackers. We left well satisfied, very relaxed & knowing that we'll be back. read more

So that's why I'm not reviewing it, other than to suggest: Why not advertise that fact (reservations required) to avoid other curious potential customers driving here for nothing? This is a wonderful place with delicious food but don't come here if you are hungry. This place seems to pride themselves on giving you very small servings. Very well made servings, but small. Of four people in our group, two were left hungry. The service is excellent as well. read more

This place isn't cheap, and the portions are tiny. I had the seafood au gratin. The scallops were extremely fishy tasting and the pastry shell it was served in was old tasting. It was served with a potato the size of a ping pong ball and a couple of green beans. I was really looking forward to going there, but really disappointed. We won't be back and I wouldn't recommend them. When we left, we went and had a hamburger. read more

We found our evening at elements quite delightful. The quality of the food is extremely high. I really enjoyed my beef Wellington and crabcakes. The food portions are a bit small. The Chef at the restaurant has a diversified background and makes everything from scratch. Again high-quality!. We sat outside on the veranda deck and brought a couple of bottles of wine and enjoyed appetizers, before moving in to the restaurant. Sit inside in a temp controlled place watching the chef Kurt do his magic in the kitchen. Or sit outside and watch the cows come up to graze, either way you can't go wrong. Now that you've picked your company and your table to sit at, let's enjoy the delicious food. Kurt is very creative in the kitchen and it shows. My favorite is crab cakes, oh boooyyyy. I love the 4 course meal because of all the different tastes and I never leave there hungry. His wife Diane and their staff members make your dinner experience a lovely one, they are very polite and attentive. It's elegant eating in the peaceful country. The food is delicious. We have been to Elements several time and everything has been delicious. I usually have the white fish, but I have also had steak and pasta. My husband usually has a seafood medley dish. They have great appetizers and desserts also. They are always open to any suggestion you might make for them to include on the menu at a future date. I tend to seek out restaurants that are off the beaten path and offer not only a good meal but provide a unique experience. Elements Restaurant did not disappoint. We visited for my mothers 80th birthday. There were four of us. We had a late start so we had to call to extend our reservation time. They graciously accommodated this. Three of us had the fixed menu and my dad had ala carte. I had the seafood medley and the others had the steak medallions. Both were excellently prepared and flavorful. The chocolate cake was delicious and served with a candle. The wine and beer selection was good. The service and view alone were worth the drive. We were lucky enough to be there to view a beautiful lightning storm through the ample windows. My dad tends to talk and tell stories. Keith, the chef and owner listened and was very patient and considerate with him. My family, friends and I will definitely be visiting again. We may even make an overnight out of it by renting the guest house available within walking distance. This was the perfect place for a celebration but priced reasonably so you could enjoy it anytime. We are so happy we found this gem! Don't let the distance keep you from experiencing this. We took the back roads and it was a beautiful drive. read more

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner and enchanting experience last Thursday evening at Elements restaurant. It is located between Orrick and Richmond Missouri but their address is Camden. In any case it is easy to find and definitely worth the drive from Kansas City. We live by Richmond and go into Kansas City often but this is great dining close at hand. We sat outside on their spacious deck and looked off at the green hills and distant horizons while cattle grazed below. The meal was terrific, we started with the toasted mozzarella cheese appetizer which was wonderful, very flavorful, and the marinara sauce had just the right amount of spice. My wife had the blackened fish which was done very nicely with the Cajun rice. I had the lemon chicken which was tender and flavorful. We had a nice bottle of Sauvignon Blanc from their carefully selected wine list. All of this was presided over by Diane and Kurt and their attentive staff. We will be back again this week to try their small plates menu. A wonderful restaurant and a great place for a special occasion or just an end of the week celebration. read more
