I'm done with the MacMassage parlors. I've tried several and thought I found a decent place at Elements but I was wrong. Closed my account due to relocating in a couple of months but was told needed 30 days and I would incur one final billing, but not to worry could use my last massage - not an issue. Booked my appointment and did my usual 60 minutes add on. Total cost for 60 minutes add on was $120 because I have to pay non-member price. And what is most disappointing is that Hector only pays these guys and gals $20 an hour - give or take a buck. So my therapist received about $20 for the extra hour and the business got $100. Wow! Doesn't seem quite right. And trust me, I understand the business incurs expenses. You're better off hiring a local LMT or going to a non-chain establishment. You might pay a little more, but at least a more appropriate portion of the fee goes to the people doing the work. Do a better job Hector! read more

It's a very calming, welcoming lobby as soon as you walk in. The front desk person was just as pleasant and professional as the lady I spoke with on the phone. They call the day before to verify your visit/time. They offer you water while you fill out the standard pre-massage questionnaire. My masseuse was very friendly, and helpful throughout the massage. I wish he concentrated a little more on my 'problem' areas, but I do feel better after getting the massage, so that is a plus in my book. Afterwards, they offer you cold or room temperate bottle of water. They then give you a run down (problem areas) of what they recommend for your next appointment. This place is awesome! Bookings can be done online, which is a plus for me. It is quick and easy to make an appointment. They have a nice variety of add ons such as aromatherapy, hot stones, CBD oils, etc. The front desk employee is always very nice and welcoming. The spa is clean and takes covid precautions. I've been here twice for deep tissue massages and they were amazing! I had Alana for my first massage and Inaudy for my second massage. Elements Massage is everything I expected it to be. The staff, management, and massage therapists are friendly, helpful and attentive. Sandy is one of the massage therapist and she is fabulous, sweet, truly cares and mindful she is great at doing the Swedish and deep tissue massages. When I walked into Elements Massage Studio was very clean as well as the front desk, the ladies who were very welcoming and the sweetest were Cynthia and Maria. Cynthia was very nice to me, patience, and she made everything more easier to understand with what I wanted and needed it was comforting. Thank you, Groupon for introducing me to Elements Massage! A few months back, I bought a Groupon and booked my appointment. The girl on the phone was incredibly professional and told me Juan gave excellent massages. Sold. For every session I've had, the front staff always impresses me. Incredibly attentive, professional and friendly. Once I get into my room, I'm told the lights and music can be adjusted to my liking. Juan really listens to your needs and will work with you to get rid of any pain/stress you have. Since my first session, I've lost track of how many times I've been. I enrolled in the monthly massage program and have stuck with Juan since then. Every ache and pain goes away with one visit. I've done hot stones, deep tissues, and even brought my fiance to join me in a couples massage. Simply put, Juan is superb! As you end your massage, you're offered some water and a chocolate mint patty. DO NOT PURCHASE A GIFT CARD FROM THIS LOCATION. I bought my 70-year old mother a 2-hour ($200) massage gift card in January for her birthday. At the time, she was in California taking care of my sister who was 6-months pregnant and bedridden due to some medical circumstances... but I figured my mother could use the gift upon her return since she would definitely need a rest. Obviously, the COVID-19 pandemic hit before her return to Miami. Since my mother is in the high-risk age group for the pandemic and will not be able to utilize the gift card within a reasonable timeframe, I called to ask for a refund. Hector Morales answered the phone and was rude and unprofessional. He originally said that the gift card was good for life, so I shouldn't worry about it, then when he looked up the card information he told me it was purchased in January, and there was more than enough time for my mother to have used the card. Great service from everyone in each interaction from appointment setting to greeting, etc. The deep tissue massage was just what I needed and really appreciate the feedback from my masseuse, Inaudy, about things I could do to help reduce the impact on my back and improve my posture. He talked me through everything he did and made me feel very comfortable from start to finish about what to expect! Super pleased with my session and already have my next appointment. Had the Hot Stones added and was great (that heat on your back is the BEST in my opinion), but I really needed the tissue work more so I encourage you to think about what experience you are looking for and consider a 90 minute massage if you haven't been in a long while, like me . Terrible customer service! I tried to pay my massage with a gift card, but after 15 minutes the receptionist told me that she was having some issues and wasn't able to process that transaction, so I gave her my debit card. I went online and check the balance in my gift card it was charged $100 dollars by Elements Massage. I called them immediately and they asked me for proof of the transaction. I email them the receipt clearly said when and where the gift card was used, and this was the manager answered (Gigi) : "Hi Sandra, We do not have the gift card transaction on your profile under purchases. Try calling customer service and see what they say about refunding your hundred because it never went through on our end. I went in w/ a Groupon gift card with a 90 minute massage. Guadalupe was late about 15 minutes but made up the time in the end. I requested for a deep tissue, told her my pain areas in my arm, it was painful when she trigger the pain points while moving my arm in certain motion. My whole body was sore the day after and guess what, the pain in my arm was gone! I can finally reach my arm to the back to zip/unzip my clothes. Guadalupe is great! I highly recommend Elements Massage. The only thing is that the time you pay for is including the time for paper works, discussions, dress/undress and restroom. So be sure you do all that quickly, best to cfm w/ the front desk what time do they consider the starting time to prevent any misunderstandings at checkout. read more

I had previously posted about my disappointing experience I had had at Elements and I was quite surprised when Jutta the Manager at Elements contacted me via Yelp. We then spoke via telephone and had a nice conversation. Jutta was super understanding and and wanted to offer me a complimentary massage. I felt bad as I did not want to give the impression that this is what I expected but she was so attentive and really listened to what I had to say about my past experience and wanted to give me another opportunity to have the massage I was looking for. I went in some months after and once again was greeted by staff at the front desk. (To be honest I felt a little bit sheepish as I was paranoid that they knew about my previous experience and Yelp review but to their credit they did not treat me any different that last time so I automatically felt as ease). I was then offered some thing to drink. It was not a long wait and then was I shown through to the room by my masseuse Stephanie. I am not sure if I had mentioned in my previous review but when you walk through the door to the massage rooms you realise how big it is back there. The room was lit perfectly and the soundtrack was nice. The room had a nice cosy ambience to it including the scent. Stephanie also asked if I would like to make any adjustments as every thing is adjustable in the room. I am a big fan of deep tissue massages and Stephanie did not disappoint. Her hands were very strong and she asked me about the pressure she was doing...believe me it was perfect!!! About ten or fifteen minutes before the massage ended Stephanie asked me if there was a certain area I would like her to focus on so I told her I was keen for a scalp massage. Oh my gosh I was out of it when my massage finished. Every knot and kink and stress that I carry in my shoulders were no longer with me. I walked out to my car in a daze and could barely talk to the receptionist when I left. It was a fantastic massage and I am grateful that Elements contacted me and rectified the situation. My daughter set up my new laptop yesterday. I am able to tell you about my visit earlier this year. My daughter and her friends were raving about this massage parlor. I wanted to see what it was about. I booked us appointments early in the day when my body is at its worst. Getting old is not always a fun experience! Youngsters reading this enjoy your youth before you age! Things have changed and the massage made me notice. I could see what they were so happy about. Left completely relaxed!!! Service is outstanding! Everything was very clean. Loved the decor. We are planning to book appointments again! My husband will be joining us, he was a non believer of massage before I went. I can reach for things in the cupboard with success! No more stepladder. It was shocking how easy it became to reach above my head. My mornings are no longer filled with pains and stiffness. I love coming here for a massage. Juan Carlos Is my go-to therapist. Every time I come I get a deep tissue from him. He has been helping to undo the knots that have built up from years of ignoring several injuries I've sustained while playing sports. He even recommends stretches for me to do in between sessions to help ease the recovery process. He is very knowledgeable, and the advice he has given me has been a crucial part of my recovery process. Every time I leave I feel the difference. I have felt pain for so many years, and I thought I would never be the same again after my injuries. Juan Carlos has shown me the light at the end of the tunnel. Honestly I cannot believe I have continued to have poor experiences with management following my first post. Although the manager wrote a cordial response to my first review, nothing was actually done to remedy my concerns (no face to face apology/acknowledgement, no compensation, nothing). Instead, I was met with continued resistance by management to accommodate reasonable requests and give autonomy to front desk staff to deal with my complaints instead of me continually having to escalate to speaking with management. Here are the details: I had my final appointment booked to use up my last "free" 30 minutes of massage. So I booked a 60 minute massage with Victor, who is fabulous. Unfortunately I was so fuming by the time I got to my massage that I could hardly enjoy it. I confirmed my appointment the day before, but on the day of, something came up and I was running late for the appointment. I called ahead of time to see if we could push it back by half an hour, and it wasn't possible because victor had another client booked right after. Ok, that's fine, I say, but I am still going to be late so can you shorten the massage by half an hour and just charge me for that? The answer: no. They have to charge me for whatever I was booked, regardless of how long my massage is (if I am late). But get this: the cancellation fee for the massage is $35, equal to a 30 minute massage! In other words, had I simply canceled the massage and received ZERO MINUTES of massage, they charge me $35 but if I show up late and receive 30 minutes of massage, I get charged full price ($69)?!? How does that make any sense? And in Miami of all places, where people are late as a rule rather than the exception? They gave me no accommodations. I notified the staff that I would insist on talking to the manager following my massage because I felt it was extremely unfair to be charged twice the amount of service I received. Instead, the manager attempts to call me before my massage, potentially further reducing the service time of my massage, even after his staff insisted that they would be charging me for the full hour (after speaking with their manager). Clearly this man does not care about customer experience nor retention. Nor do they do anything to resolve bad experiences, but instead just continue to deliver the same bad service. I wish I'd never signed up for this scam of a service. read more

This is an excellent place in all regards. I came to this business a year ago on a visit to Miami and decided to come in, based on Yelp reviews. The place indeed lived up to the positive comments so that I made it a point to come back on my next trip to south Florida. I was totally happy with my followup visit as well The studio itself is very tasteful and immaculate; the reception staff is very professional. But what won me over the most was Paula, a very skilled technician and caring person. She is very attuned to finding points that need the most attention and being sure that the pressure applied is just right. She also gave me follow-up advice on how to perform several stretching maneuvers to work out the kinks in several trouble spots. Oh, yeah. And the price is very reasonable. The receptionist asked me what my pressure preference was and I told her deep tissue was my go-to, so she recommended Victor. At first I was hesitant because I'd never had a male masseuse but it was by far one of the BEST massages I've ever had! Victor was extremely pleasant, polite, & professional. Due to the amount of business they had when I arrived, my appointment was a bit late but Victor made up for it and extended the session. I am so beyond grateful my friend recommended this place to me. She bought a groupon for it and fell in love that she became a member so that her husband and her can go every month. Once she told me about her great experience i purchased the Groupon myself and was paired up with Roberto for my first time and my massage was excellent! From the pressure to his recommendations , everything was on point. It wasnt deep tissue but it also wasn't super soft, his pressure was how i would want all my massages to be like! My second time visiting this location was spur of the moment two months later when i was having lunch in the shopping center with a friend and she so happen to have a massage scheduled for that day so during lunch i called to see if they had any last minute openings or cancellations but they didn't. So after having lunch i still walked over with her at her appointment time and asked again just in case and Vioalaaa, it was meant to be! They has someone cancel right at the same time and they so kindly squeezed me in. The reception staff was so accommodating and friendly and were so happy to help me. this time i was paired up with Marlene, she was ok. My massage with her felt more like stretching /yoga than it did an actual massage. It wasn't as relaxing as i had hoped for it to be as she is talking to me the whole time telling me to breathe in and out and then to move my leg/arm up or down etc. She was very nice however, did offer me a portable charger when she heard me say my phone was dying on low battery. If you were looking to loosen up and for some good stretching then she was great but if you want an actual massage with some decent pressure i would try and recommend asking for one of the other staff members. read more

My first full body massage and I feel renewed. My legs have not felt this good in a long time. I had Carolina for deep tissue. I highly recommend her for deep tissue. She was very friendly and welcoming. They have 3 different time slots for massages, a 55, 80, and 110 minute massage. I had a 55 minute massage and it felt great, a bit short but still does one heck of a job. Your first massage for a new client is $69 compared to their $99 rate but on yelp they give you $40 off the $99 rate and its totally worth it. read more
